Yeah bud, i have every Kennedy in uncirculated mint and they are the reason i love coins to start with from when my wife was alive, and if you'd ever like to take a look at them and the ike halfs, i have all of those as well and if you wanna check em out just give me a holler, it's no problem! They're all uncirculated mint state still in the original packaging from the mint just been trying to find a good time to go through them and open them, we should do a show on that! That would be interesting with the sms sets from the 60's, "64 & up!
Dear J&B thank you soooo much I am very very happy with what you guy did find and I am happy that this will help out with the new finds thank you !!!!!!!!!!!
@scottleelockardjr9854 I found 5 or 6 rolls 1964s-1980s with these same coins throughout as well as some silver Pratchett errors. Can't figure out what is worth sending in to get graded to sell! Did you end up with any higher value coins that you couldn't find info on? What where they? People aren't believing me when I tell them I have some of these not so common coins lol
Also in a previous video it was mentioned how more and more people are finding fun and the coin world searching and saving going to shows. This is something I totally agree with and recommend 2 the younger generation getting them involved in something such as this goes a long way. Thank you JB coins for all you do 😇
Nice finds Scott! Thanks J&D for another super informative video that I learned a lot from. I'm fairly new to this as I just started getting some rolls of Kennedy halves about a month and a half ago. I may have stepped in something on the way to the bank because they only had 7 rolls available and when I got back home I only opened 2 rolls just to get an idea of what it was going to be like. 1st roll was mixed up dates and conditions but the 2nd one blew my mind. It is an entire roll of 1964s and they appear as if they've never been in circulation. I think someone got this roll when it first became available and never opened it. The roll wrapper was very old with a bank name on it that I don't think even exists anymore. I imagine that whoever obtained them may have passed and another family member just took them to the bank for bills or someone fell on hard times. I was so excited that I still haven't even opened the remaining 5 rolls. Oh and the main reason I'm posting here is because in the first roll I found a 1983 P that doesn't have the FG on the reverse. I've been watching a lot of videos on halfs and so far I've not been able to find anything on this particular coin. Have you ever heard of it before? The missing FG wasn't worn down evidenced by the surrounding raised surfaces. Then one last thing. That roll also contained a 2009 P NIFC. I imagine finding all I did with my very 1st 2 rolls, these wouldn't be considered typical results that I could expect in the future. Thanks for any help you may provide.
Wow Scott n I must get our Kennedys from the same man lol!! I have a lot of DDRs with the letter doubling thru out all letters on the reverse!! Glad someone else found some!
Nice to see you pointing with a wooden toothpick. I've seen other people using a pen or other hard object that could possibly cause damage. Also, the toothpick gives a more definitive view of the issue being looked at without obscuring it. Thank you! Great job. You earned my subscription.
Wow thats way cool!! Awesome Scott!! That's it I can see in the near future I'm gonna have to get a small box together and send some more questionable coins hee hee this is so much fun 😁 look at all of us learning new finds together!! How exciting!
J- after watching this video I went back through coin rolls. I found 5 - 74 d. DDR. I found a 1976 that was a die error and 2 1972P DDR. Thanks for this video series.
Nice. I just tried halves my first time about a week and a half ago, bank had 6 customer rolled rolls they sold me, and I was disappointed cause they were each sorted by year. Two were 1971, one 1972, one 1973 a 1974 and the last had random newer dates. But i check every coin, and i wound up with 2 DDRs and a DDO that i couldn't find on variety vista 😄 looks like this person has hit the jackpot though! Love varieties.
Thanks for Sharing, Love your videos! I just picked up $250. worth of Kennedy’s! With this knowledge and more of your other videos me & a bud have something to do with our spare time since, that’s all we have.
Great 👍🏼!! Scott, that is so cool! J&B! I sure wish any one of mine was or has any of these DDR’s Great Find!! Nice of you J&B to be able to help out someone like Scott. I know that you wish that they were yours as well! I sure do! Congrats to the both of you!!!💥💥💯👍🏼🍀🙃 Way To Go!!!
Thanks J & B for the thumbs up I saw before coming back here. I to am a coin collector and I love ❤️ dealing with coins. As I said? I sure wish I could get so lucky! I have a lot of Kennedy’s just not the 64-1969. I am still hoping that one day soon? I will come across those particular years. I have a ton of 1971 -74? Then it jumps to some 80’s as well as 90’s to this date. I thought it was so cool of you to do that for Scott. If he doesn’t know it already? He will be pleasantly surprised! Way to go guy!! 1❤️
Very cool scott!! Congratulations. I have a bunch of ddr and no fg Kennedy halfs and I'm trying to figure out if its cost effective on having them graded no sense paying if its not worth over the cost.
Great video, and high lighting the errors on these coins (The DDr's, the profile, etc., was quite interesting. I would've loved, however, to have learned what you thought they were worth. The reason being, I too have several of these very same coins, including the DDR, Profile half dollar you sighted. But then again, pricing can be a difficult subject being it's such a subjective area huh? In any event, the video was great partner, so thank you so much for doing your excellent job at keep us all out here in internet land content little squirels with all of your insightful info. Till next time buddy, signing out!
I just finished a bank bag of these and have found all of that. About 30 coins, and the one with the shallow edging that shows the copper, mine were the 1976 bicentennial . Those I found 11. Are any of these of value? I was just working this out when I came across this video.
Great finds an as usual an awesome job of sharing and presentation of coins. Suggestion for follow up video would be what are they worth and where to sell error coins. Again thanks for sharing
Very nice, what you do is righteous sir, I have a ? for you, and possibly, hopefully another variety, new to this and dont know the protocol, Thanks, Scott
good day JB i relly liked this video cause i have about 100 dollars worth of 1/2 dollars and i know most of all of them are DDO/DDR . would you in one of your videos can show us what exactly is a double die, just to confirm my self. i want to thank you for your time and all the precious information you have provided for me. goood day!
JBCoins. Just recently got into coin collecting and I’m almost fifty years old. And I’ve learned a lot as a subscriber of yours. But I think I need help with this. So this past week I bought ten rolls of customer wrapped half dollars and was hunting silver. Anyway the 200 coins were from 1966 through 1985 of which there was one. I found 27 silver 40%s from 1966 thru 70 all near mint state. And the majority of non-silver were 71-78 w the most being 71s also majority very nice at least above MS65 and some surely might grade at 69. My question is what are the chances that I may have some error coins in this amount of coinage based on the years and what could be the potential value? Thank you in advance for any help.
Really great channel with all the latest and relevant news in coin collecting. Keep up the good work. I have a coin, which I have Never seen one like it. It is a 1972 Kennedy Half D Minted with the engraver mark on reverse; however this coin is a complete bubble. Both sides are bubbled out making it look like the President has a cheek full of seeds like a chipmunk and the identical bubble on the reverse. It does not seem possible for this to be man made, as I have never seen any coin like it, and the bubble is just too perfectly aligned with the Obverse. It has not distorted the coin in any way, all the fields are good, seems properly centred and struck. I am thinking it is possible two different planchets were melded together making it pop out like it has? I can send pictures and would very much like to figure out what caused it, if it is indeed a mint error and should I send it in for grading. Must be one of a kind?
Thank you for what you do a you have been very helpful you are knowledgeable and I have a question regarding a 1980 D over S That weighs 11.47 g what would you say to that
I find a lot of doubling on early 70's coins. almost all on the reverse. In one box of coins I found probably 30 with doubling. Is appears to be so common that I think its probably just a warn die error or machine doubling.
I just found one with that molten edge 84 S. And a 91 P DDO but it is a bronze color? I'll try and send some pics. But I don't have very good luck with the live drawing list, I don't even know if I'm in it. But the conversation is great!
I like the videos. I have never spent a half dollar and knowing my only child and wife just would chump sell my stuff makes me wonder why I have a box of old coins I probably will never spend. Do you have any advice about liquidation of a small collection of coins?
So the big question is are these quirks valuable? At least to some buyers? I saw a thickened profile (not DD) on 2 halves of some I recently went through. I didn't keep. Also many thickness variations (and shapes?) of the eagle's head and other features.
I know this was two years ago but I just got a box and three rolls were full od 71 72 74 qith some 73 and 77. Even a few 76. Many many do. Machine doubling prob.
Very sorry to say that my 1/2's went to my gas tank recently I took my 40% and 90% silver to my coin store dude who is really fair. But the nifc's and plain 1/2's went for 50¢. No worries I am winning the gaws
Hi I have several of these half dollars I believe maybe just as good as what u have received from Scott is like to send them to u as well and maybe finding someone interested in purchasing them is this possible thanx I'm Dave and I'll wait for a reply before I send other info thanx

Awesome video 👍
Way to go Scott!!!

Nice find, great job inspecting your coins. I will do the same.
Wish you can show us all the detailed errors you mentioned (double dye on wing tips, olive branches, etc).

Amazing & unbelievable, if we’ve let coins like that slip through our fingers back to the dump bank!
I do have some of these that I have found recently
I have a bunch just like them that I got from a bank in florida
Great job I have a 1970 Kennedy half dollar and it has numerous problems like these. How much are they worth ?
I find many of these same dates but i think they are machine doubling. Can you do a video showing diff between real DD and machine doubling😃
will do
I find a lot of doubling on early 70's coins. almost all on the reverse. In one box of coins I found probably 30 with doubling. Is appears to be so common that I think its probably just a warn die error or machine doubling.

I have found these on 64 of my Kennedy Half Dollars. Some are not listed above.
I have $70 of same kind of coins but got messed up in piggy bank but they were all new with same varieties.
How do I send pics
I got a whole box but don't wanna have all these coins. Already took some back but can hold on to these try to sell.
good job
I like the videos. I have never spent a half dollar and knowing my only child and wife just would chump sell my stuff makes me wonder why I have a box of old coins I probably will never spend. Do you have any advice about liquidation of a small collection of coins?
small auction
I found a 71 D DDR like the first one there today! I can't find any listings is that a new one?
Nice
I have a coin same as you have
Hi, I have one but some people told me that it's no good because it dose not have enough silver. Can you tell me if it's a good one, thank you!
Okay I have the exact 1994 double face and the 1972 ddr. What should I do? Are they worth anything?
So the big question is are these quirks valuable? At least to some buyers? I saw a thickened profile (not DD) on 2 halves of some I recently went through. I didn't keep. Also many thickness variations (and shapes?) of the eagle's head and other features.
Would like to see pics and close ups of these
I know this was two years ago but I just got a box and three rolls were full od 71 72 74 qith some 73 and 77. Even a few 76. Many many do. Machine doubling prob.
Okay I have the exact 1994 double face. Is it of any value?
Can you post a video with pointing out all the issues upclose so we could see with zoom and explanation what to look for please?
WTG Scott and J&B awesome finds. Is Scott married? Thanks for this awesome video.
no I am married LOL
Are you gonna be posting pictures soon? Dying to see them as i think i may have a few of these.
I've got a Kennedy half with lamination flaws
I just found 1 of the 1994 p's i think mine is a little stronger on the double some parts look to be tripled.
I found the 1994 too. Double face
Do you you of the value? I have the one too.
@@joestewart5981 sorry my collection was lost in a house fire.
Can you take pictures or video to show the doubling please? Is this "shelf doubling" or true double die? Thanks.
Very sorry to say that my 1/2's went to my gas tank recently I took my 40% and 90% silver to my coin store dude who is really fair. But the nifc's and plain 1/2's went for 50¢. No worries I am winning the gaws
Aww sorry to hear that
Very cool. Hey JB have your of the 1986 p kennedy rpm?
I have a 1989 DD front and back. Just need to know what to do with it.
I have a 1972 gold coin
I wish you would show under a microscope as you find them. I have several half dollars , but I’m not sure what I’m looking for. Thanks!
So my question is, How do you get some type of DDO or DDR that have not been found before graded? I have a 1983-P NO "FG" thats why I'm asking.
How much the price of this coin?
I have two&a half rolls of those coins . not a member of a grade company yet . do I just sit on them or what.
HEADS UP!!! My 1977 D is also missing the "FG", it's very faint to the point it's barely visible.
I have 3 of the 1973 D strong DDO’s
I have 1967 half dollar coin howuch you buy
Time to my halves
I have one of those 1964
Are you sure they’re not machine double dies? I find them all the time and usually release them back into the wild.
So does that make them valuable?
👍
Give an update whether it turned to be DD or machined DD?
Hi I have a Kennedy half dollar no mint mark
Thanks J& *B... sorry about that.
