BUT, when I was leaving, I asked the teller if she had any interesting coins and she said I do. And handed me 2 silver half dollars, 40%, 1966, and 1968! My first ever!!!

I have 3 of these 1964 half dollars but one has that darker tint with out the rainbow spots, but if you hit it with a light at a angle you see a rainbow tint almost like the same rainbow color when oil is in water.

I have over 30 JF Kennedy. coins 1972 1974 1971 with the FG initials on all of them multiple times plus the accident hairs the bold letters 1977 1980 1981 1982 1985 1988 multiple times same thing they all in great condition I would love to show you my pops was a coin collector I kept them safe all these years it's time to get them graded

I have 3 90% silver 1964 half dallars and they are beautiful,plus a 1984 n a 1985 half dallers Kennedy.
Got a Box of halfs yesterday and found one 1965 40 percenter silver in really great condition and a ton of 2018 NIFC 5 rolls of them and a few other NIFC halfs..
Got two rolls at bank and had 8 -(1776-1976) and a 66 and 67 40 percent silver, most were 71 ,72,and 74
Also have a 1971 half dallar Kennedy, with the corner of the i missing but its a beauty coin my friend

I have 4 Kennedy half dollars 1964 D, 1965 P, 1966 P, 1967 P. 90% 10% is 1964D, and all 40% silver. Gonna be selling it.

thats alot of information for a nuebee like myself im in Canada and have alot of US mint and proof sets from many years also a few 64's maybe a 72 or so but nothing special i think. i only have 2 sms sets a 66 and 67 not sure if there is more but in total probably with theloose coins silver and nifc's i have around 200 coins and sets from the years 1964 1972 thru 2008 also have alot of messed up coins worth nothing a couple of toed coins nothing special but hoping to keep up stacking till i retire and then maybe get into it fulltime

First time I looked at my 1977 half dollar I really thought I had errors on the obverse. The top part of head covers part of E &R. Then the no.9 looked strange until I compared coin to another and saw that it was normal. Hmmm🤔
I have a lot of Kennedy half's and I believe the majority if not all are errors. I don't have a coin microscope to take really good pictures but I would like to know the going rate for these coins. Any help would be appreciated.

Has there ever been a 1983 silver Kennedy half dollar discovered? I'm not sure but I think it's some other kind of metal because it's dull like missing a outer shiny layer but when sat on a table top the coin ring is different kinda like silver.
I have a 64 kennedy silver its frosty i was lookin for the teardrop on the 4 i thought its not the one so i cleaned it but when i looked at it again with an eye loop the teardrop is there bautt the frosty look is gone coz i used mothers cleaning product what should i do? im 99 % sure its the one .

So far I've got 2 bicentennials, both d mint marks, and I've got a 1971 d mint 1, 2, 1973, with both d mint marks, I've also got 2, 1974 with d mint mark, 1, 1979, NO MINT MARK, 1, 1981 d mint mark, 2, 1983 both with d mint mark, 1, 1991 d mint mark, and is EXTREMELY shiny, and
finally, 1, 1996 with d mint mark and it is shiny to, but not to shiny.

I have a coin, which I have Never seen one like it. It is a 1972 Kennedy Half D Minted with the engraver mark on reverse; however this coin is a complete bubble. Both sides are bubbled out making it look like the President has a cheek full of seeds like a chipmunk and the identical bubble on the reverse. It does not seem possible for this to be manmade, as I have never seen any coin like it, and the bubble is just too perfectly aligned with the Obverse. It has not distorted the coin in any way, all the fields are good, seems properly centred and struck. I am thinking it is possible two different planchets were melded together making it pop out like it has? I can send pictures and would very much like to figure out what caused it, if it is indeed a mint error and should I send it in for grading. Must be one of a kind?
