      Maybe because there's a lot more people out there who just want to watch a character being built in 30 seconds, than people who are sick enough to spend 30 hours building a character in Blender. I am one of those sick individuals.

      wow same for me ... i was doubting myself if i was the only one struggling to start while wanting it so bad in me ... not sure yet if its fear or simply the "being overwhelmed" since i never was into any art before.

    I love seeing your sculpts, but the voiceover always annoys me. Cuz you’re not really elaborating how to sculpt Viktor specifically. You just say “Sculpt his nose, his eyes, and ears, and now you’re done”. It’s the same with nearly every video.
    I think I would enjoy it more if you could explain how this character looks, and describe more on the recognizable features of the characters you’re sculpting. Idk, the voiceover is so simplified, it ruins the video for me. Since I already can see that you sculpt the nose, I don’t need to hear you say it. It’s useless.
    But that’s just my opinion, you’re videos are still engaging. That’s just how I feel when I watch it these days.
    Edit:
    I’m aware of his older videos. And yes, he does explain more about sculpting techniques, and ways to improve your art. I’m not asking for him to go back to that. His quicker videos are still very engaging. But it lacks on the voiceover.
    This video for example, it would be better if he talked about Viktor’s design specifically. Like how skinny his face is, the kind of nose he has, his hairstyle. Because based on the voiceover alone, you won’t find the difference with his other character sculpts.

      He does that in his older videos. Now most if not all this channel is short 1 minute timelapses of the sculpting. Check out those older ones for actual "how to" videos.

      I completely agree, this is made for tik tok, not anyone who is actually interested in the process. It’s not genuine at all. This is NOT how you learn how sculpt characters haha 😂 and he knows it as well.

    Hey, great work like always! I have 1 question though, how do you 'merge' your bodyparts together? Within a few seconds you merge bodyparts together and it looks completely seamless. I've tried slowing down the video to catch how you're doing it, but still can't.
    Hoping you see this and can explain how :)

    I’ve only gotten into sculpting a couple days ago so excuse me if this is a noob question, but how exactly are you painting directly on to block colours like that?
    It looks like at the start, you have the initial sphere already set to a flesh tone using a material, but then later you’re drawing on to an image texture.
    How do you set a block colour in principled bsdf and then also paint on to that as if it were a texture?

    After sculpting, how do u smooth out the surface and remove the extra polys?

    • @matheusbravo3758
      @matheusbravo3758 2 года назад

      Two ways, you can either go to the Remesh tab on the top right of the display and adjust the voxel size, the lower the number, the smoother it will be, then click remesh, or you can use the shortcuts, Shift+R to decrease the voxel size, then Ctrl+R to Remesh!

    • @anonymoussloth6687
      @anonymoussloth6687 2 года назад +1

      @@matheusbravo3758 thanks! I am still new to this. Is this how the sculpts look polished at the end? Like when he sculpts the face or clothes, you can still see roughness and imperfections. But then at the end, it looks perfect. Is this how 3d modelers do this?

    • @anonymoussloth6687
      @anonymoussloth6687 2 года назад

      Ex: 0:12 vs 0:54

    • @matheusbravo3758
      @matheusbravo3758 2 года назад

      Yup! That’s exactly how they do it, once you up the polycount in the model, you can smooth those details how little or how much you wish, there are advanced techniques where you increase the polys only in areas where there are a bunch of details, and in large, flat areas you decrease them, so the model doesn’t become too laggy, it’s all about patience and deliberately choosing just how detailed you want your model to be :)
