    Considering how most of us are initially products of 12+ years of evolution theory-as-fact education and world exposure, this different look at science is almost mind blowing. I don’t understand the math, but I’ve come to wonder in recent years how truthful to current version of ancient history is taught, especially when there are those who work so hard to discredit the Bible accounts. Great series. I’m learning something.

This means that if you are a Young Earth Christian, people who live 800-900 years old before God shortened lifespans, the bones may have become thicker, and eyebrow ridges may have become more pronounced. Like the Neanderthals bones show.

    Adam is the father of agriculture, He is the original gardener of Eden who was told he had to till the soil with his hands when he was exiled from the garden. Agriculture was there from the start of man, hand tools, sword, fire and clothing. His sons were domesticating cattle and growing crops. rapid population growth was possible from day 1 out of the garden. Not to mention everything humans learned from the Nephilim. Then, Noah and his family did not forget the technology that came before the flood. Post deluge peoples did not discover, they carried over the learnings from pre-flood life, handed that information down through generations, beginning with Noah's family. Humanists love to act like we are so smart and so special, but all humans are really doing is trying to get back to Babel, creating idols of ourselves. Scientific Progress defined as the good works of humans under the guise of advancement has no value to the Kingdom. Science is humanities pitiful guess at the language of creation and the resulting guesses that have become mainstream as truth. All science breaks down at the fringes, because its all build on false assumptions of a people who believe they are smarter then they are. Jesus did not ask Christians to build cars and airplanes, he told them to spread the Good News. Scientific progress is a distraction, with constant ways to invent sin. Medical advancement has nothing on Faith. Last I checked human medicine cant bring people back from death or grant them eternal life. Humanities priorities have always been out of whack.

    It's so interesting how evolution is being disproved by science itself and helps clear up doubt over the bible and man.
    It show the science of evolution is on shakey ground, honestly never made sense of a world/universe being millions of years old and slowly creating itself.
    I was unsure on the whole flood but seeing how quickly man and animals can reproduce, makes you realise how quickly we have gotten to current times.

What process sorted out the limestone, sandstone and slate into relatively pure layers if not hydraulic sorting? But the real kicker is molecular biology. There's no way possible that all of today's life could have evolved from a microbe. And the observed mutation rates strongly suggest life would be extinct if it were even two million years old. So fossil bearing layers can't be more than that.

In the early 1900s, they found an encrusted device in a shipwreck, I think it was ancient Greece. In recent times, they were able to use advanced imagery to see this device was very sophisticated and using very fine gears and precise swivel points can be used to calculate dates very precisely, including leap year and certain astrological cycles. They had the tech, but it was a well-guarded state secret and was lost to time when they were conquered.

    Love this series! I think the last question - how many people alive at the time of Babel, I'd think it would be more than 1,000. Take this for an example:
    - first generation 2 (Noah/wife);
    - second generation 6 (sons+wives, e.g. Shem);
    - third generation (first after the flood, Arphaxad's time) about 24 if each of the sons had 8 children - 4 sons and 4 daughters);
    - fourth generation (Salah's time) assuming 4 sons + 4 daughters each would be 192 people in that generation;
    - next generation (Eber's) - total of 1,536 (again assuming 8 kids - 4 sons/4 daughters);
    - generation of Babel (Peleg - division) - total of 12,288
    Now, there are all types of variations. Were they fruitful and multiplied exceedingly at first? If so there could have been WAAAAY more than 12,288 people in Peleg's generation. And if they only had 3 sons and 3 daughters each generation we've got only 3,888 people in Peleg's generation. If we keep the 4 sons/4 daughters, by Joseph's time, 15th generation (Noah being 1st gen) we would have more people alive today, so obviously that wouldn't have been the case. But still... the math factor is fascinating!!

      I'm still struggling with the concept of races. There appears no way, for Noah etc to have given rise to the many different breeds/races of human we see alive on the planet today and that doesn't include the races that have been wiped out. Humans around the globe are totally different from each other.
      Look at the difference between a very short, frizzy haired, black skinned, dark eyed African Pygmy, a typically tall, white skinned, blonde haired, blue eyed Scandinavian and a yellow skinned slant eyed, dark haired Chinese. The differences are dramatic,.not to mention they all appear to have given up completely on the God of the Bible and started countless other very odd religions! None of it makes sense.

      @@ankyspon1701 a Chihuahua and a Great Dane look different but they are both canine kind. And can reproduce. Two people can reproduce as both are people, but a cat and a person cannot. So they would be different kinds. I think the vast differences we see in physical traits within kinds are due to selective breeding. Like myself, I can only give some traits to my kids, and others they don't inherit. Information lost so to speak. However they also pick up what my wife has, so gaining back information that I lost through my own ancestors. When people and animals spread apart from Babel, they were isolated from each other and that gave rise to genetic traits common to different areas. Still the same race though, all mankind is mankind, all dog kind is dog kind, etc. all the genetic diversity in man was present in Noah and those on the ark.

    I did research on this in college after comparing data I had found studying various evolution models (and finding them lacking). My conclusion (though subject to revision upon new data) has been that the Neanderthals were what the Bible called Nephilim (Genesis 6:1-8). I came to this conclusion 9all the following is data from recent scientific discoveries, but without the conclusions of scientists - just raw data presented) because they were a distinct people genetically that branched off of humans, were able to speak as us, able to use symbology (such as body paint) like us, buried their dead, were warrior cannibals, hunted big game and ate a lot of meat, were "stout fireplugs of a physique" burning enough calories a day to equivalate the Tour de France, had superior technology for their day using anerobic methods of attaching spearheads, spread far across the earth from Britain, to Africa, to India, to Mongolia, all died out suddenly around the same time, and lots of mass burial sites that looked like they were killed in a flood.
    I always think it's funny when scientists describe what could only be a massive flood but then conclude that they must have died from not getting enough food or competition with other tribes, or some other nonsense conclusion like that (with zero evidence).
    It is true they like to give different dates for the dinosaurs and others, but I think that's for a similar reason that they will say dinosaurs are in layers of deposits with millions of years between them.
    But, I'm also not a scientist, I'm a web designer. My research is not phd or anything like that. I'm just a curious person who likes to figure things out for myself and see the evidence for myself.
    @28:00 Even though the account of Joseph in Egypt said the "entire world" was experiencing the famine, there was similar wording in later times which by context shows they only really meant the major civilizations around them.

      Nephilim were huge cannibalistic giants, not stout fireplugs of men. I'm talking possibly 50 ft tall if not larger. Largest humanoid skeletons ever found were 36 ft, in the 10th century in what would be Turkey today.
      If anything, Neanderthals, if they even existed, are simply misidentified humans that lived before the Flood, meaning hundreds of years old.

      Let's not forget, Neanderthals could have been ape type creatures. They have little to go on and extrapolate all kinds of assumptions because of their carbon dating and dna analysis.....neither of which is reliable. I mean, they say we share 97% Gene's in common with apes........that's not true simply because we know barely anything about the genome. We might have similar dna in terms of skeletal structure and some very basic, general structure, but that's only a fraction of the DNA present. It's like comparing 9 similarities to a group of millions. Every tiny difference in dyructite and metabolism is run by DNA, and obviously theres huge differences everywhere in our total make up. So no, we actually dont share 97% of our dna, IF we can even determine reliable dna data. We assume this shared dna we call neanderthal is exclusive to the species, and we assume there must have been interbreeding to wipe them out. Assumptions.

    Jeanson has a unique ability for interminable prevarication that invariably inundates every topic as surly as Noahs flood covered the world. The American Indians other some of the eastern U.S. “civilized” tribes were never very advanced but contrary to the 1492 fantasy painted by Jeanson, we now know were vicious cannibals who attacked and slaughtered their neighbors as routinely as we would eat a hamburger. Although the Mayans and Incas were technically more advanced, they also ate their opponents and like the American Indians of the S. West, in constant warfare with neighboring tribes.
    When the Bible refers to “all the nations” it is obviously referring to those within the local middle eastern area. It would not only be ludicrous for people in those days to make very long excursions to cart back bulky food reserves but also hasten their demise. Unless in close proximity, all of the divergent groups would have had to make it as best they could. I expect that by the time of Joseph, people had already migrated all the way over Europe and also down into subsaharan Africa at the very least. No coming back.
    Jeanson’s explanation of the Neanderthals is particularly notable for being an abysmal failure (no surprise there, after Egypt and the Orientals) in saying nothing of any consequence. He attempts to skirt the issue by claiming DNA degradation but the scientists who examined Otzi in the alps were able to gather detailed genetic information. Skeletal evidence of the Neanderthals has striking variations from traditional humans but just like everything else that Jeanson finds not copacetic with his mostly redundant presentations he just ignores the obvious and moves on for more of the same.

      He brought this up in the video. The Biblical time frame/age of the earth (6,000-10,000yrs) is explained using multiple scientific disciplines. He's using genetics as evidence for a young earth and to prove Biblical events. He mentions in the video "primitve peoples" were farming before secular science claims they were. The fossil record from a YEC is just evidence for Noah's flood. Sedimentary layers laid down from a global flood. Study radiometric dating flaws to understand why millions/billions of years doesnt jive.

      The 'clock' in this case is the rate of mutations of the Y chromosome per generation. As Dr Jeanson said, no one has compared the rate of mutations between different groups of the world.

    The phrase "all the world" is an idiom and means everybody in a particular area. It does not mean everyone on the planet. Another example is in Luke 2 v 1 regarding Caesar Augustus's decree that "all the world" should be taxed. That only referred to people under his jurisdiction. Frequently other parts of the bible throw light on difficult passages. In this case Stephen, in Acts ch 7 v 11 tells us that the famine affected Egypt and Canaan.

    Note that the apocryphal Book of Jasher, Chapter 9, verse 35 says: "And the Lord smote the three divisions that were there [i.e. at the Tower of Babel], and he punished them according to their works and designs; those who said, We will ascend to heaven and serve our gods, ...BECAME LIKE APES... and elephants; and those who said, We will smite the heaven with arrows, the Lord killed them, one man through the hand of his neighbor; and the third division of those who said, We will ascend to heaven and fight against him, the Lord scattered them throughout the earth." This text may merit more serious consideration, in light of Dr. Jeanson's findings.
