I remember being about 10 years old in Sunday School and the pastor asked if we had any questions, and my question was, "if Adam and Eve were the only people God made, aren't we all related?" and for some reason the pastor either did not understand or did not want to answer my question, as I clarified it to him repeatedly when he seemed confused, and finally he waffled a bit before not answering and just moving on. Thank you so much for this depth of research on a topic that has fascinated me since childhood.

I would have liked to hear which of Noah's sons lineages do the Pacific people originate from. I can't decide whether it's from Japheth of Ham or a combination of both. A mystery i've been yearning to discover for a couple of decades now.
Intriguing scientific hypothesis on the Y-Chromosome data, but i'm not wholly convinced. Especially as he failed to acknowledge the Polynesian descending into the ancient Americas. Polynesian skulls which are quite unique to Polynesians are also found further West than Siberia suggesting that if the Polynesians had a founder effect, it had to have been older than their time in Siberia, which is why the theory of "Polynesians originated from the South East Asians" is too simplified and thus incomplete. It ignores other crucial elements like those i mentioned above, as well as skips over the cultures they came from before Siberia. The good Dr may need to expand his interpretation of the DNA research into a broader autosomal comparison, like using HLA, because that would give a broader DNA data to compare his summaries with. The Y Chromosome alone seems a bit too bare.
Also the picture of the young Maori girl he used, is not a typical look of most Maori people nor Polynesians in general. They have a variety of different physical features, from about 3 achetypal models, which existed before the first Europeans reached the Polynesian triangle, became enamored by them, studied them and yet the Polynesian origin IMHO is still quite contentious. Regarding the Austronesian language group, i believe the Polynesian language should no longer be classed under that linguistic group as it's pretty distinct from the other languages in that bracket. I would love to see a comparison of the Polynesian language with the Hittite language or the Akkadian one. Because it's interesting that the names of their leaders sound Polynesian, but when you look at the way the language has been interpreted, it's more akin to the other nations making up the Austronesian group.
Also the Melanesians or the Australian aborigines look more akin to those from India. At least that's how a 2016 Y-Chromosome sequencing derived the data.
I appreciate that Dr. Jenson was inspired by gaps in human history from the Bible as the foundation for his quest. I share the same point of reference for many of random researches. I agree with him that there's still room for development and refinement. So thank you for sharing your faith, your scientific knowledge and time with us.
It is not good when adults answer like that. First assure the child that there is an answer because there is. Admit it if you don't know. Then pray with the child asking God to teach and answer the question. He will, maybe over a whole lifetime. He leads us by giving us questions, with curiosity, with desires from him. I call that desire or question, or curiosity therapy. Such are often part of God's calling in our lives. Honor it and follow it.

I spent some time in the Philippines, mostly the interior of Bohol, exactly where your brown circle for Melanesian is centered. There is a distinct cultural divide between those with darker-skinned heritage (especially if there is curly hair and or wide flat noses in the family) and the coastal majority. Those with Melanesian heritage are known as "people of the forest", and other less polite appellations. What is interesting in the context of this discussion, is that it is universally accepted on Bohol that the "people of the forest" came first, and were driven into the forest interior when the boat-building coastal Malayo-Polynesians arrived.

A fascinating detail of the Haplogroups K, M, S map - There is one dot on the astern coast of India, in Andhra Predesh. This is precisely the area I surveyed for the relief efforts after the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. There I encountered, as the hardest hit, the seasonally migrant Yanadi tribe, who are so low on the cultural scale in India that most have not even been granted government ID cards. There appearance is unlike any other group in India (except for skin tone), having typical Melanesian features. Their skill in boats (which are quite unlike the typical Polynesian style) makes it easy to understand how some of their ancestors were able to ferry their entire families eastwards by sea.
I have lived in Hawaii for over 30 years and taught Hawaiian history as well as other subjects.
There is a section of Hawaiians claiming ancient history of Maori descent.
The Hawaiian, Samoan, Tongan, Tihitian connection is very familiar with facial features, body shapes, skin tone, feet, hand, and even vocal frequency.
Even though each group fights with the others they are all definitely co-mingled in genetics.
Unfortunately I had a stroke in 2012, so much of my memory is lacking, but at least this information should give you a place to work from.🤙

I dont know if you remember, but a few months ago (around Christmas time) we had discussed how the Polynesians had two different sets of DNA within the Polynesians. I've done some more research and I believe the K dna haplogroup within the Hawaiian may come from the Tanala tribe in madagascar.. do you remember me mentioning the "menehune" people? I believe this menehune race could have possibly came from the Tanala tribe in Madagascar
I think at one point in history, India must have had a vast influence through colonies spread far and wide. Place names in Madagascar, Burma, Thailand and Indonesia look Indian in origin. Another piece of evidence is the fact that the word Kumar means small in Indian (Sanskrit?), but Kumari means sweet potato in the South Pacific and South America. Currently Indo-Europeans make up about 40% of the earth’s population, and it looks like more in the Pacific. Noah’s prayer for God to enlarge Japheth (Indo-Europeans) seems to be showing up historically and genetically, and those descendants mixing with their Hamitic and Semitic cousins. This proves through sinful human nature, how ignorant and futile it is to try and separate humanity into races, when there really is only one race descended from Noah’s male line.
You have to be very careful when comparing individual words across languages. The "kumari" example you mention is probably a coincidence if it is even true. Wiktionary says it means princess or girl in Sanskrit but does not mention any other meanings.
That is correct. Thailand is named after the previous Kingdom of Ayutthaya, which gets its name from the Indian city of Ayodhya. That's because the whole of South East Asia was originally Hindu, before Buddhism and Islam came.

Pacific Islanders and Melanesians were the inventors of the catamaran sailboats. They used the stars as their navigation through the vast oceans. People also aren't taught that the indigenous people of Madagascar are Polynesians in the Indian Ocean. There was a large ocean trading civilisation between the East Coast of Brazil to the west coast of South Africa that collapsed sometime ago due to changing currents and winds. They were no longer able to travel vast distances in short periods of time.

Anthropological studies of Australian aboriginal groups done in the 1930s indicated two or three waves of migration. This was subsequently rejected in favour of a politically motivated 'one people' notion that ignored the obvious differences between Tasmanian, southern 'Murrays' and central desert and northern coastal aboriginal populations. It looks like the presence of more than one haplogroup from the Y Chromosome studies tends to support the much more scholarly and thorough field-based conclusions of the early anthropologists.

I don't ascribe to the Celtic peopling theory of ancient NZ. But there was an antediluvian epoch, meaning there is probably a more ancient civilization deep beneath the NZ earth and actually deep beneath every nation's earth or even covered in water like Hancock has revealed. Dr. Jenson's data appears to be based on a post-diluvian era. But it would be nice if NZ govt would allow the experts to excavate any alleged hidden skeletons and skulls in NZ, as they're probably Polynesian, anyway. .
I do know for a fact that the Kennewick man believed to be 9,000 years old and the oldest man discovered in North America, had the skull of a Polynesian. I know that for certain because the one of the scholars involved in the study of his remains made a model of it. And if you google it and compare it to a Polynesian skull, you'll see it is precisely a Polynesian skull. Although, they've recently remodeled him into a type of european ancient Ainu lol
The megalithics found in Peru, Chile, MesoAmerica and other coastal lands of South America have been connected to locations that Polynesians HLA haplogroups were also located as well as their crania and bones. The same megalithics are found throughout all of Polynesia with Polynesian skulls and skeletons.
It would be nice to finally uncover European skulls in these same ancient places that the Polynesian genetic markers and bones are at, where all these megalithic massive stone constructions are at, like the Americas and the Polynesian islands, so we can state that it was the celtics who arrived in the Americas and Polynesia first and that they were the ones who built all the monolithics and megalithics of the Americas and those scattered all over the Pacific islands even the Kaimanawa wall in NZ which looks exactly like those in the coast of South America where the ancient builders drew their people on the same stones as having broad noses, and thick lips similar to the Olmec civilization howbeit an even earlier group than them.
Perhaps we can find some ancient European skulls on Mocha island just off of the coast of Chile where they also found ancient skulls of Polynesians? Maybe science has erred and the Polynesian skulls where ancient megalitic constructions were discovered are really Celtic ones? I don't know why Polynesians are trying so hard to hide the bones of the early Celtics! Why are the polynesians trying to misappropriate white people's cultures !

This very interesting as a Polynesian specifically Samoan. There has been so many different research of where Polynesia originated from, some say Asia, Africa, some say South America, even the northern part of America towards Alaska.
I will say what is fact amongst all research, where ever Polynesia migrated from it started in Samoa and that long pause then branched out. Every Polynesian island can trace their ancestors to Samoa.

I did Archaeology in Australia in the late 1990's. because there is very little hard, buildings etc, archaeology in Australia my teachers were all heavily into Melanesian, Polynesian and Peruvian Archaeology. Pre WW2 much more was known in Australia than in the USA. Though half of that was French work. I did reasonably well. Being a life long creationist I had a bit of an advantage with dates and genetics.

The book of Jubilees does say that some descendants of Shem intermarried with descendants of Ham. Perhaps that's why Polynesians and East Asians seem to have ancestry in Africa.

You cannot say Melanesians have no connection with Africa because 1, all humans come out of Africa and 2, the ancestor of YDNA haplogroup C is haplogroup CT and the ancestor of CT is haplogroup BT. Both BT and CT are African in origin. The fact that there are no remnants of C found yet in modern African populations now does not sever the obvious African connections in our prehistoric past.

It would be interesting to look at the Sasquatch/Sabe genetics since they consistently appear to have maternal human DNA.
Sykes, at Oxford Uni, concluded 'Eve's' mitochondrial origin was some 120,000 years ago, while 'Adam's' Y chromosomal DNA was some 170,000 years old. Funnily enough he never explored/speculated on that anomaly at the time of his two books!

I was completely dismissive of this man's findings until he mentioned Polynesians descending from Africans more than melanesians. I can't say I know I'm right, but I will say if you look at my lineage (along with the lineage of my son), you can tell Hawaiians were dark prior to 1778. Kalaniopu'u is my seven time grand father on my mother's side. If you look at the pictures of Kalaniopu'u, you can tell he's not Asian

Early pictures of King Kamehameha clearly showed he was highly melanated. Maybe it's not to clear cut that all Polynesians came from the C Haplogroup. Maybe they were decimated overtime and the currently sampling of Polynesians show a more recent conqueror haplogroup.

DNA chromosome marker data analysis supports the following hypothesis
1. An ancient Siberian group migrated down East Asia pathways, becoming the Melanesian’s group (dark skinned South Pacific people)
2. Meanwhile, the Polynesian group (Asian looking people) shows marker evidence tracing them back to Africa.
3. The ancient Siberian group mentioned in first point also traces back to Africa
Also, it appears the Melanesian group entered and occupied the SE Asia region well before the arrival of the Polynesian group, and were later pushed out the way by the Polynesians
Some SE Asia geographical places have Polynesian and Melanesian group migration overlap pathways, such as Papa New Guinea

Darwin and his peers hadn't even fleshed out the "life only comes from life" law of biology. Some actually thought simple organisms spontaneously arose from non-living matter and that this could be observed routinely, such as maggots emerging from dead meat. In that context, maybe Darwins model was plausible back then, but time and time again we made discoveries that should have led to rejecting his idea. It still persists because it's really not about the science and logic; it's a religion, and there are plenty of zealots who will cling to their faith regardless of contradictory observations.

That is no better than the Urey experiment that made a random concoction of amino acids. Skin color (over the generations) is almost always related to the latitude of the place where people live. Each generation the people with the best D3 production with least skin cancers are most likely to pass on their genes. So in general (vegetation makes a difference) in the equatorial latitudes the offspring with the darkest skin color survive the best and pass on their genes, and in more polar regions the opposite is true. However things like societies that eat a lot of sea creatures do make a difference as they get a lot of D3 from their diet... So in 1000 years or so, those African immigrants in Northern Europe should start getting lighter skin colors than their ancestors asuuming the immigration from Africa is stopped, even without interbreeding without the people there....
What about the Micronesian… the Mariana’s… for example.. Guam?
Its interesting that some of these major splits seem to come at the end of the ice age by creationist estimates when sea level rise would have flooded coastal communities forcing migration and split population as islands emerged. That said I am of the opinion that the early Micronesian population and African core group it split from may have traveled far and fast because they were the ones with boats and did the river trade at babel. The diversity of languages indicates a diversity of 4 to 5 meter long boats, Their split came at sea (but in site of land) and some turned south and others east. I also think some of the Dravidians sailed with them. Evolutionist tend to depict population as slow, on foot and without cargo, seeds & livestock etc. If they had relatively good coastal sailing vessels, then movement could be very fast but things like metallurgy are easily lost.

One is Papuan (spoken by inland mainland Papua New Guineans and Australia Aboriginies) and the other is Austronesian (spoken by coastal Papua New Guineans and perhaps Fiji islanders)

Ancient Aborigines were more high tech than the modern ones, based on archeological, their had more sophisticated fishing tools etc than the modern ones.
I have a fairly well documented ancestry going back some 400 years in America. AT one point I am sure my ancestor married a native woman in 1664 likely to a "Native Princess" and by historic terms it appears to be true (Deeds and things) but in spite of the fact that my family lived on the Reserve from 1664-1870's my R1b ancestry shows no Native blood. However my Moms side was inland England back to the mid 1800's. So when my sisters DNA test showed 2% Ashnakazi Jew and 2% Polynesian we were mystified by the Pacific Islander in the tree. How in 12 generations could we loose all the native bloodline and pick up some remote DNA so far back. Could the Polynesian be an echo of haplogroup C in the eastern tribes of the coastal native population? Is there "Long Island Hawaiians?"

I believe you are missing an important link .I am Maori our family history can be traced back to Hawaii and because of warfare in the Pacific our ancestors migrated to southern islands and eventually to aotearoa NZ. Before Hawaii I believe our people came from Peru or panama , I think the missing link is the Hawaiian bloodline...

Based on watching most of his videos and reading the book, the answer is: we have not *yet* found the original south american genetic line. Most of south and central america are haplogroups from recent european immigration and african migration from the slave trade. The native american haplogroup q originates from central asia in the early AD era. We know this group largely replaced a pre-existing population that declined (from war or disease or both, we don't know). Many speculate based on archaeological evidence that the original american settlers were of african origin, but we have not sampled enough men to be able to confirm this genetically. The ancestral lineage may still be out there, or it may have died off entirely.

@@leicestercook Ancient DNA is unreliable, as demonstrated by the very poor fit to known population history when Neanderthal DNA is included. This shouldn't come as a big surprise given how fragile the DNA molecule is. So even if we sampled DNA from ancient american burials, the results would be sketchy.

Also something geographically/geologically must have happened 1000 BC to allowed for or caused migration. Perhaps due to ice ages post flood. It's very likely too degraded to be useful.

I am not familiar with that particular telescope, but vast distances measured in terms of light speed travel are real. How accurate these particular estimations are I cannot say. But suffice to say that the size of the universe is pretty much beyond our comprehension. A good friend of mine once told me that all of the stars we see in the sky (besides the planets in our solar system) are actually Suns. Which stands to reason, because other planets do not produce enough light to be seen from such great distances. So when we see the milky way on a clear night, we are only getting a very small picture of what is actually out there! @@beestoe993 You are correct, the stars we see at night are not just planets in our solar system but other stars, however, the vast majority of the "stars" we see at night are other galaxies. Many of which contain millions and millions of stars. It is not so much the distance of these objects but the time it takes their light to reach us. Some of that light has travel millions and indeed billions of years to reach us. This gives us an estimation of the age of the universe.

Don't listen to this, it's a gussed work. Why and how? because he used the words like "I think", meaning he's not sure. Pray and ask the Lord and he'll show the what is true.

He is making pretty accurate guesses with the data he does have and he corroborates it with archaeological and historical record. To verify its accuracy. But his data is still incomplete and he is very clear that new data may change his theorems and hypotheses.
