That’s a Wrap on Season 1!!
I will be taking a week or two break to get things ready for upcoming episodes, big thanks to everyone who has enjoyed the content this far and helped support the channel and has tuned in weekly!.
T👍🏼
Awesome channel, Tyranth! I was with a friend in the Mojave Desert many years ago and he was trying out a similar demo with a 'fire chain'...let's just say it's good I packed the burn kit! :D
Says "real" then admits he does not have magic. Well at least Nate survived... Peak Fire!
Great final for the first season.
great to hear you're taking a break, Sir!!
Why didn't you side some metal things over the rat tail tangs and make them full tang?
“Baaaabe, he lit his swords on fire!”
“That’s nice dear”
"its a sword channel.. HE GON BE LIGHTIN SWORDS ON FIRE" Barnyard reference
Why do I feel this line is from The Witch From Mercury memes?
@@superkamehameha1744 it's from Back at the Barnyard
Is it practical? Not really unless we've got some magic.
Is it dangerous? Oh absolutely.
Cool? No question.
but who is it the most dangerous for, yourself or others?
Couldn't have said it better myself
I feel like training and magic will make this better. I can't see a 10 year old doing this even with magic.
Cool? I am pretty sure fire is hot last I checked.
@@ShiningDarknes You do make a good point
this is so dangerous you unhinged maniac you are a man after my own heart this is fucking awesome
I have to admit I wasn't expecting much of this one going in. The swinging of the blades on fire after dark was however epic. Thank you. This made my day.
Just add some motion blure and afterlight to the swinging blades and it looks just like the game 😊
Tyranth, this has been a hell of a lot of fun to watch. I'm glad you started doing these videos, and I look forward to your next season of Screen tested!
I'm impressed that you manage to make all these "mall ninja" weapons actually look deadly.
The only other type of fire based chain weapon left that I can think of off the top of my head that you have yet to try out is Ghost Rider’s Hellfire chains. 💀🔥
Ghost Rider only uses one chain, with a razor-sharp point, if we're talking Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider.
Ok, with 2 blades really comes a lot of chaos. But for us a lot of fun, too.
Thank you Tyranth.
this video illustrates why things like pokemon in the real world would be dangerous, spinning metal blades on chains are one thing, lighting them on fire is another. it's like what would happen if fighting types, learned fire moves like fire spin and ember.
What a perfect video to end a great season of epic and exciting content. I eagerly await the next season. Top notch
Thanks for watching man Appreciate the support!
There's honest progress here through the video. You can see him gain confidence and each test works better than expected. Very neat. Thanks!
I always thought of Kartos as just a really strong guy, but I think this has proven that he must have had even better stamina, dude must jog every morning!
Man did infact climb straight up a moving mountain for 3 days straight in the first game
@@madniss0336 True that and those games had great cinematics too when they showed all that!
@@BluegrassKnight true that
Side Note: All of my admittedly super cool fire-spinning friends with long hair have accidentally set it on fire at some point. Might want a hairnet or swim cap or just regular helmet next time! Keep up the bold moves, regardless!
Awesome video brother. Truly a worthy sequel to the first test.
tyranth and nate together are always a right good time ngl im so glad you guys have more of a platform now. very cool video lad, much love
This is what I call epic
This was terrifying thank you. Very epic though. I really wasn't expecting you to be able to catch the blades so consistently.
Some of those combos were actually pretty sweet!
These might not be the most "practical" weapon, but I feel like if someone actually put in the practice and refined the design, it could be a uniquely effective weapon.
Ive done Poi balls before and the learning curve on those left me singing soprano a few times. You're a braver person than me, to swing those flaming hunks of metal around. Never change! 😆
absolutely fantastic! Great to hear you're doing this in seasons!
What an epic season finale! The flames and side-by-side comparison were beautifully done! Comedy is on point as usual! Fantastic season of videos!
This one was worth that little bit extra I think thanks for watching and supporting man 👍🏼
WAIT A MINUTE! Nate was the guy who made one of the sword on the back videos?!?
How did I never realize this?
I think that's how he and Shad met.
@@Ranstone and how they've settled down and have a family together.
Which video?
@@superkamehameha1744 I think it might have been his first. Just go to his channel.
Which video
Just as I was about to type "Fruit ninja with these!" he goes and does that. Also treat them in Dual use as whips and space them as they move. Great way to finish the season! Looking forward to more.
This was actually super impressive.. how tf does Tyranth manage to get pretty proficient at almost everything he tries both here and over at Shadiversity?! Great video :)
That was an epic video. I've been in awe of how much you've done on this channel and on a weekly basis too! A break is definitely earnt and I've no doubt that before long you'll be making a 100K subscriber celebration!
Best video yet on the channel! Your more nimble than you look hahaha
That may be the Nicest way to call someone fat ahaha
Can see why you revisited these here and not on Shadiversity. That looks quite dangerous and safety is a big part of things over there contrary to what some content would lead one to believe. Y'all do set a lot of stuff on fire. In fact all of y'alls work with things on fire has me wondering now if it's possible to test other common game elements like how would a freezing cold blade perform or could an electrified weapon transfer the charge effectively through strikes on say a shield or through padded armor
Woah super cool, I never new you has a channel, its like when your fav show has a spin off with the funny charter you like
Welcome glad your enjoying it here
Yoooo, the visuals, editing, and production quality (Specially some of those b-roll shots), are up a whole level. Fantastic work and keep it up!
Glad somebody notices haha
@@ScreenTested I know a thing or two cuz I've seen a thing or two, I've finished the video now after my comment, and I'm glad to see all the help and friends you've got alongside you. Good luck!
Very cool, another great video!
The heavy breathing was a great laugh as well.
Your tenacity is why you succeed, brother...
12:00 I love these bits of Monster Hunter-ass physical comedy. It reminds me of the exaggerated running away. I also really liked the skit where you saw the rat tang. Most impressive of all imo is that you can catch the blade as it falls towards you.
This was super impressive. If there was a way to snap the two blades together, they could be spun around as one and maybe the chains wouldn't entangle then.
You pretty much satisfied my issues with the wood/plastic version you guys did a year ago, figured the lack of weight was a problem. Granted I understand the safety concerns
Here’s hoping that in the next season, you’ll cover the armor & duel plasma blades cybernetic knight of Ultratech, Fulgore, from the 90’s fighting game: *Killer Instinct*
@9:29 Can we ALL just appreciate how CLEAN and BEAUTIFUL that cut in half was??? HOLY shit… * clicks tongue. * NOICEEEE!
I could totally see someone using these at a Fire show at a Ren fest. It looks cool
Aussie Myth Busters :D|
Suggestion for the video: Chainsaw arm from Evil Dead.
Oh yes please. Chainsaw for the win. Clatu! Verata! N.....! ok i said it.
18:28 i think you pretty much nailed it not being a demigod. The movements the form i mean spot on. While playing the game i thought that there is no way this weapon is practical but i believe you have proven otherwise. Well, Done i cant wait to see more. Very Well Done!!!
This awesome! Keep up the good work! 🙌🤙
If the blade was properly balanced i feel it would be even better, problem is it should be weighted at the sharppart
no joke, this was sick as hell.
like damn that's legit cool
That montage was legitimately beautiful
I'm sure there are a hundred takes that we didn't see, but these from the final cut are seriously impressive
I gotta give you props on actually posting your practice clips. As goofy as it looks, no one ever looks good while they are learning a completely new skill.
Never knew aluminum was that durable to break through coconuts
14:47 I am Tyred *g* amazing work! really liked the side by side of ingame versus you, terrific entertainment!
2:48 the average Aussie
Yes!!! I was just wondering too if you were gonna post something new you’re definitely a fav channel
Ngl those look like lv1 blades of Athena, where the chains arent on fire and the blades have a dark orange glow to them. I liked the look of those aloot
The wheezing during epic montage scene was cherry on top of this 😂. You're awesome 👊
Woooow this is nuts. You just earned my sub.
Great video! Loved all of Season 1, and amazing to see how the quality keeps going up!
The whole time you were doing the “combos” in the first half I was sitting there ready to comment “it would be super cool if you matched your moves with Kratos’s from the game”… and you did just that. Awesome video man
So much fun in one episode. Plan* Bs, rat-tail tangs, super fun taking head segments, plain clothes Nate, a Dr. Mike call out... Feeling so spoiled. Love the videos, Tyranth.
Omg and then the montage and the fire and the EXTINGUISHER! 😂😂😂😂
And THEN Sir Nathan and Marcus. (Also forgot to call out the Aerial cinematography. So neat!)
This is the perfect try out video to get booked for burning man. Killer video as always and much appreciated
This is basically double chain whips with a heavier tip. Tyranth hit the nail on the head in the review section when he mentioned it needing alot of training to master. Even amongst kung fu practitioners and students, the chain whip is shyed away from as a weapon of choice because of it's difficulty and danger level. However, I believe that someone who is proficient with double chain whips would find the Choas Blades easier to use because they would have to be moved more slowly, due to the weight.
Nate reminds me of like the dad equally as destructive as the sons but still has dad mode and stuff
Thanks
Thanks for the Support and Watching!
I have a distinct impression that you could get padded weights and fling them around like these for a good workout.
Padded weights because less possibility of damaging self.
i love nate being around, please keep it going.
Holy crap this was awesome. Some people spend a lifetime mastering the use of a particular weapon. Tyranth just needs about 3 hours.
A great end for quite an amazing season. Being tied (chained) to a flaming object is always something to be done with all care and precautions (or is it not to be done at all?). You always make quite impressive moves with these fantasy weapons but this one was quite the sugar on the cream. Congratulations to you and all your team for these videos.
Note 1: I hoped to see Nate with Kratos' warpaint
Note 2: I demand a recopilation video with all your phrases like "I like whips and I like chains!" topped by "I swear I'm normal"
Holy, Nate in those glasses tho...
Sick ass vid as always, can't wait till your bigger so I can say ive been here since day 1
The unequal length chains cause the shorter chain to swing around you faster than the longer one if you push the same energy into them on the throw. Couple of revs and the one on the short chain tries to lap the one with the long chain and they tangle. To use both, you have to master equal length chains.
OH MY GOD TYRANTH! You are a demigod for the least! That was amazing! Pure talent, try and error to make perfection. Thank you for season Tyranth ❤ Can't but I will wait for next episode.
I mean, if I see someone confidently wielding these, I think I'll just walk away and rethink my decision to seek a fight
I feel like the chain sword concept would work would work well with a naginata esque blade or a shortsword blade
Wow! That worked way better than I thought it would cool!
Dude! So cool! and uh... so Dangerous! eye protection was the least of my worries on this one! LOL
Hey Tyranth, if you do decide on doing anymore whip weapons i recommend using a bike chain for more rigidness
Going from plan a to plan b back to plan a is three times the usual amount of plan. Everything going according to plan.
All part of the plan
Absolutely great series guys loved it
I only have one conclusion about this video : you're crazy tyranth!!
the spinning fire blades reminds me of Samoan Fire Knife Dance, sick video 👌
By far the coolest thing this channel has done so far! Very cool Tryanth! Very cool!
"I'm normal, I swear I'm normal". Sure, Tyranth. Sure. It's ok, that's why we love you.
Loved the 'catching breath' part of the montage
It seems to me the best reason to have a pair is so you have one in hand while throwing the other.
Great episode. Those are some of my most favorite video game weapons.
End of season 1!!? Great season. Enjoyed the videos.
Pretty slick moves for somebody with a thick frame like yours. No seriously. It is Impressive.
bro your best vid yet!!! super awesome
You had me when puk8ng at the rat-tail tangs 😂
. So what your saying is... "In order to use to, you need magic." But one by itself make a functioning weapon. It was cool to see a revisit with metal. And as I pointed out in the first video. The mass of a moving object is not easily blocked, and if it is deflected the chain can be used to wrap around your target. (if you have the skill and reflexes to do it.)
Tyranth, This was Outstanding man cheers to you and the guys. The short cuts to you trying to catch your breath were funny man. See you over on Shadiversity. Oh tell Shad we need a Flamberge. Cheers again man.
What you've done here, its actually an absolute masterpiece of bringing fan fiction to reality!!! 10000XP POWERUP!!!! TYRANTH
I wonder if he's going to retest scorpion's rope dart.
Hi Tyranth, might do you some good to get some POI training in, the point of balance on chaos blades is ofc different, but if you manage to get the flow on standard POI you might be able to do some advanced moves more fluidly with the blades (even chains are the way to go though for controlling it better, so you dont get offset by the longer one)
The chain also solved one of the issues that they had when testing fire swords. Fire is hot, and holding a flaming blade is difficult on the hands. The chain means that it's not constantly burning you. Unfortunately there's still more downsides than positive things to say about flaming blades. Still looks awesome though.
What could really benefit those blades and the whole weapon throwing fighting style (not sure if it’s effective enough to call a style yet tho) would be some kind of machine or mechanism to reel the chains in and pull the blade back towards your hands.
"I'm normal, I swear I'm normal" 🤣 Don't worry, we might not always do it, but we all think about it. 😉 I love the combination of seriousness and humor that you put into these videos. Musical greetings from Belgium, Gunther (singer and lyrics writer of Gabriel Scar)
UNDERRATED AS HELL BRO! You deserve at least 1 million subs
Maybe one day haha Thanks man
Hey... it's Marcus... I didn't know he was still around!
I am always around for my mates.
Nice work 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I think the thor's hammer one was the best so far.
A suggestion for a future improvement - build some elasticity into the chain (eg with bungee or long compression spring). That will give you control of the length (and be as close to the magic of returning as possible).
That's really impressive I'm subscribed for sure bro 🔥
You dont have to swing them with the chains Kratos in lore actually doesnt use the chains that much he just slashes with the blades in his hands he only uses the chains if hes outnumbered, trying to keep his distance, or to reach someone thats far away
Was that Marcus who put you out with the fire extinguisher?
Yep, that was me.
