Y'all do set a lot of stuff on fire. In fact all of y'alls work with things on fire has me wondering now if it's possible to test other common game elements like how would a freezing cold blade perform or could an electrified weapon transfer the charge effectively through strikes on say a shield or through padded armor

    This is basically double chain whips with a heavier tip. Tyranth hit the nail on the head in the review section when he mentioned it needing alot of training to master. Even amongst kung fu practitioners and students, the chain whip is shyed away from as a weapon of choice because of it's difficulty and danger level. However, I believe that someone who is proficient with double chain whips would find the Choas Blades easier to use because they would have to be moved more slowly, due to the weight.

    The unequal length chains cause the shorter chain to swing around you faster than the longer one if you push the same energy into them on the throw. Couple of revs and the one on the short chain tries to lap the one with the long chain and they tangle. To use both, you have to master equal length chains.

The mass of a moving object is not easily blocked, and if it is deflected the chain can be used to wrap around your target. (if you have the skill and reflexes to do it.)

    Hi Tyranth, might do you some good to get some POI training in, the point of balance on chaos blades is ofc different, but if you manage to get the flow on standard POI you might be able to do some advanced moves more fluidly with the blades (even chains are the way to go though for controlling it better, so you dont get offset by the longer one)

  • @Marcus_Postma
    @Marcus_Postma 10 месяцев назад

    The chain also solved one of the issues that they had when testing fire swords. Fire is hot, and holding a flaming blade is difficult on the hands. The chain means that it's not constantly burning you. Unfortunately there's still more downsides than positive things to say about flaming blades. Still looks awesome though.

  • @GGBlaster
    @GGBlaster 10 месяцев назад

    What could really benefit those blades and the whole weapon throwing fighting style (not sure if it’s effective enough to call a style yet tho) would be some kind of machine or mechanism to reel the chains in and pull the blade back towards your hands.

    "I'm normal, I swear I'm normal" 🤣 Don't worry, we might not always do it, but we all think about it. 😉 I love the combination of seriousness and humor that you put into these videos. Musical greetings from Belgium, Gunther (singer and lyrics writer of Gabriel Scar)

    A suggestion for a future improvement - build some elasticity into the chain (eg with bungee or long compression spring). That will give you control of the length (and be as close to the magic of returning as possible).

    You dont have to swing them with the chains Kratos in lore actually doesnt use the chains that much he just slashes with the blades in his hands he only uses the chains if hes outnumbered, trying to keep his distance, or to reach someone thats far away
