It's not that Dr Manhattan doesn't have emotions, it's that he has become a transcendent being and feels that they are no longer necessary. They are no longer necessary tools for his survival but he does have feelings about certain things. His actual emotions are beyond our comprehension but he does have them. They aren't exactly non-existent, let's just say they are different than ours.
you are right about manhattan having emotions but you are wrong about them being above ours, in fact its the opposite, manhattan just doesnt understand emotions very well which is why he said it was difficult to effects the green lantern ring, it wasnt due to a lack of power but lacking understanding of the emotion it was made up. Doom acknowledged that Reed would have done more than attempt to salvage what he could and rule it. At the same time, Reed was at a loss how to stop them (the Ivory Kings)
Without Doom there would have been nothing to come back to.
Doom didn't get enough credit for solving the problem and salvaging what parts of the multiverse he could. Especially when no one could even begin to figure out how to stop them.

The problem with this one is we've only seen Dr Manhattan a few times ever. Aside from the Bathattan, which really isnt him, we never see him even to begin to exert himself. Everything is a wave of his hand. He potentially could win this one, just doesn't have the feats to back it up yet. Great video.

Molecule man being more powerful is likely true. But saying it is not even close is not accurate. Their powersets have significant overlap and can simulate each other. I think your style of focusing on relative defeats and narrative feat comparisons does not scale to this power-level. It is possible to write a consistent story without contrivance in which Dr Manhattan wins, even though multiversal feats favor Molecule Man, just as a matter of their powersets.
I think, at this level, it's no longer possible to talk about clear and definitive winners. The fact is both entities have minute control over physical forces, but Dr Manhattan has control over fundamental forces, while Molecule man is, well, described in terms of just molecular control but also unspecified reality warping. It's unclear which wins while maintaining universal coherence. Both are at a cosmic scale while maintaining a non-linear relationship with time. No chance it's not even close.

I feel like you wandered off the topic when it came to Dr. Manhattan just enough to try to reinforce your claim that molecule man was the stronger of the two. You never really brought them together to have them fight or compete in any way. What would happen is Dr. Manhattan came to Molecule Man's reality? Instead we talked about someone else and how powerful they were.

It's pretty much the opposite. Marvel humans are trying to be gods while dc "humans" are gods trying to be human e.g superman, wonder woman, flash, etc.. And the sentry beat a weaker version of molecule man. Still a huge feat since sentry was a little unstable. Also, the molecule man got his powers from the beyonders. They created each molecule man and send him to each universe to serve as a bomb. His powers are from the beyond realm. That's the only reason pre-retcon ML was able to stand a chance against pre-retcon beyonder.

It's not that Sentry is more powerful than MM, it's that Sentry constantly exists outside of time. This basically gives Sentry a bit of a cheat code to survive.
What if it’s not only the freak accident, but Dr Manhattan experiencing something everyone else if fundamentally missing while at the quantum level. He truly understands how space time works and what looks powers to us is attainable to anyone in The Watchmen universe who can fully grasp those concepts

Marvel's classic comic feats of heroes and villains were op, but in the new Marvel reboot they are all weaker, Danco used classic Molecule Man's feats to make him as impressive as Dr. M, but in the new Marvel multiple Molecule man were inslaved by Emprior Dr Doom all by himself. He never uses classic DC feats like Superman destroying a solar system with just a sneeze because he is a Marvel fan boy
Molecule man can edit and reorder the building blocks of all creation. Yes he does have a human body, And yes Manhattan can see his own past present and future at once.
But with molecule man possessing the power of the ENTIRE race of Beyonders, Even if Manhattan could see what was coming, I doubt there would be anything he could do to stop it as it would even be too far "beyond" his comprehension.

DC's Multiverse is widely regarded as being more intricate than Marvel's. Firstly, it comprises infinite universes, allowing writers much creative freedom. Unlike Marvel, where most stories occur within the central universe.
Go and do your research on the history between marvel and DC. The only reason marvel started expanding upon their universes and doing alternate universe storylines was to compete with DC which makes the DCs infinitely expanding universes larger than marvels because it has been around for much longer.

How about DM vs SCP 3812 while we're at it? I mean I know 3812 would win easily by simply breaking past his narrative, but Manhattan does have that ability as well technically, but it would be interesting since they technically have the same origins as humans who died and touched the outer void and came back as transcendent beings. It's entirely possible this gives them the same powers.
Dr. Manhattan having the ability to ascend narrative layers is something I've sure never heard of, but even if he can do that, for 3812 it's not an ability, it's a constant, and it's already starting off an incomprehensible amount beyond DM's own narrative level. 3812 basically gets second in command control over the entire story of anything it's in, next to only the actual literal real-world writer. 3812 will even surpass a character who represents the author in-universe. not even TOAA could stand a chance
@uncroppedsoop Well think about it for a moment, prime DC is a different entire layer of narratives than the watchmen universe so that's at least one instance of what I said. He is at very least aware of the narrative structure of the DC multiverse and is technically a different one than where he originated, I'm just putting 2 and 2 together.
Arguably dr manhattan is low complex multiversal, with some stats being moon level. Even mcu thanos has greater feats. Supposed precognition, yet tachyons break his prediction powers. YET most dc characters travel at thousand times the speed of light. The only canon and logical assumption I can accept is he has nonlinear time vision only within his own little universe, inside multiverse, inside the Overvoid. Below the final heaven, below the crack. Arguably one of the lamest characters. The only possibility I believe one can support this character is due to homosexual tendencies but I'm not judging and I dont care about the perversions of random people in the internet. Molecule man one taps doomsday clock Manhattan.

The "Beyonders" are obviously weaker than THE BEYONDER who was stronger than the Molecule Man when they were separate as explained in Fantastic Four 319 (aka Secret Wars 3). That issue explained that OG Beyonder was the larger half of a cosmic cube and Molecule Man the weaker half.
In modern comics he seems to have grown more powerful than he was for some reason, but then they nerfed OG Beyonder in an attempt to make the new Beyonders seem more powerful (it didn't work). Basically modern comics are a mess and the writing is off the charts inconsistent.

He is still very human because he seeks companionship with the 3 women he formed relationships with.
He is in multiple timelines simultaneously, and this is aka omnipresent existence & being omnipotent.
One could argue we all are made of the same elements, so we are all connected, and also omnipotent even if we can't comprehend it.
Dr. Manhatten was not "formed", he reformed himself.

People always say Dr. Manhatten is the only being with super power in the Watchmen universe, but that is incorrect.
We need to understand that Dr. Manhatten exist in a universe that has super genius, highly skilled people, and super strengthed beings. Dr. Manhatten is simply the only godly being.
The concept of God or his will working through us makes us all godly.
People believe we are in God's image, so in that sense we mortals are godly.
God not existing in the Watchmen universe is very debatable, just like in our own universe.
The problem is a lot of these feats for Manhattan are someone else using an imitation of his power. We don’t know if he could do more himself or not. Just too much unknown

Theres context to the perpetua scaling. She was weakened for almost the entirety of her appearances and the proceess of creation never required any outside help during her the backstory segment of her character in the JLA run. Not only that but simply being from the 6th dimension places her above even the likes of Mr. Mxzyptlk who has consistent multiversal feats casually and based off the dc cosmology, he could scale even higher than just multiversal. A fraction of Dr. Manhattan's power completely weakened perpetua forcing her to spend dark knights desth metal, recovering. Thats when the darkest knight finishes her off with a bootleg version of manhattan's powers. Manhattan easily scales above the beyonders

Dr Manhattan is NOT higher than the Presence. He is Hand of the Presence level, like Perpetua the Hand at the Beginning of time. But yes he's higher than ANY of his feats.
