And somebody that works in a machine shop I can attest that this wasn't cheap. These materials especially in these days run a lot of money. It's so nice to see that people still have a craftsmanship about them, in a world of instant satisfication of buying something online and having it shipped to you in 24 hours, craftsmanship like this never goes away. We need more of this in our world
I agree that why I'm actively trying to learn how to make things like this because its one of a kind and takes effort to do in the end you've made an extension of you personality
The crazy part is that I have access to the steal, the plasma cutter, the chain links, almost all of the tools. Then you get into the rest of the metal work and it would still cost what I make in a year.

There have been several others that have done this build, or attempted to do this build, but no one has done it as authentically as you did. They are a work of art and weapon of war. Great build!

FINALLY. I've always seen people casting the entire blade, guard, pommel, everything. Nobody ever forges it. Hats off to you sir, stunning piece!
Also: Not saying the casting work of the other individuals was bad by any means, their pieces were gorgeous as well!

I am very happy I stumbled upon this amazing channel. The skill on display in this video is top tier and the presentation style is just really good. The extra time taken to label items used and display measurements (in metric and imperial systems, even) is just wonderful.

Awesome work... little tip, when working with plaster or any other stone and lime based substrate, use white vinegar to clean. Completely harmless but cleans soooo much easier. Chemical reaction with the lime in the plaster. Works wonders friend... also, have you ever heard of saddle soap? Use it on leather and it gives it a vintage, sort of used in battke type of finish... keep forging

I absolutely love this! I sure would look at purchasing a set if they're for sale. All the ones on etsy are foam or cheaply done. This would go great with my replica axe.
Its really just a wall mount art no way can anyone wield such a heavy piece unless theyre kratos himself.
@christian hudspeth it's only 18lbs each. That's def manageable to chuck around. I would love a set of these.
