The long barrel and the coathanger extension makes it legal. Cut it down and it is a prohibited weapon, which will get you a mandatory 5yrs in prison. Somewhere around 1975 I bought a H&R 922 with a 6" barrel. I paid $20 for it and $5 for a holster. I've probably shot 12,000 rounds through it. Shoots very good. Sights are cheap.
I would really like to see the chronograph working with this guy. I got the 6 point whatever inch variant last year and when I chronod some mini mags I was getting 700ish fps. The forcing cone is very big, granted for the not so tight tolerances a cheap gun is built for, but loses a lot of energy to that and the gap between the cylinder and forcing cone.
Reminiscent of the Colt Buntline Special, made by the Colonel for Wyatt Earp. Earp requested the barrel length, not for the sake of accuracy, but because his favorite method to address rowdy criminals was to crack them over the head with his gun barrel. At this, the Buntline excelled.

Your little skit was perfect. A batman skit would've been way better after you mentioned it. I've seen the firearm in person and it definitely reminds me of the Joker. I have a rough rider with .22 mag cylinder and .22 lr cylinder and my daughter and friends son did very well with it. Loading, unloading, safety and target acquisition. Perfect for 10, 11, 12 year olds. Adult supervision obviously.
Hilarious that LEGO man looked like one tough hombre.
I really enjoy your video. Great work. Keep up the great job. SC Navy vet.
The only reason for a 16" barrel would be to combine with a stock. Otherwise, something around 12" is plenty for a buntline.
Does make it UK legal, I imagine.
Also you can hang a bobber off the end and use it as a fishing rod
Hey mom, I want one!!
Fun little revolver with a very long barrel.
Thanks for the show and tell video!
people: guns are only designed to kill
heritage: hold my barrel
Intro was killer.Loved it.
That gun barrel is so long that's like the same type of gun that Jack Nicholson joker used in Batman when he shot down the batplane
He literally said that and put a clip of that in the video at only 2:48 into it. Lol
Uhhhhhh did you watch the video?
Wow..... Just wow. 8^o
Do u comment before watching?
Gee...ya think??
the intro rocked, 22plinkster!
As Crocodile Dundee might say if someone showed him a .22 handgun..."that's not a .22 revolver--THIS is a .22 revolver". Haha
I enjoyed the little skit you did beforehand.
i'm imagining some historians from the year 4000 thinking that this was some sort of clubbing device
Remember the Buck Rogers episode where someone called an M 1919 "an ancient signalling device"?
Gil Gerard rips off half a belt & asks "Get the signal?",which was also a contemporary toothpaste commercial tagline.

Skits are fun. Keep em’ goin’😂
Nobody near me sells "Stangers", only mini mag, and quiet.. 😞
Have you thought of moving ?
Must be a US thing. In Canada, it's spelled "Stingers" and they are common enough.
@@johnshoureas1629 nah bc i can order ammo from all over the country, here in alabama we have pretty decent gun laws, cant think of anywhere else in america I'd rather live.. To be honest, it would just be cool to see his branded ammo in stores, I barely even shoot the 22 it definitely wouldn't be worth moving my whole Family to find the ammo😂
@@KP762a cci has sold Stingers for years as their high-velocity ammo, and 22plinkster has been using it and calling it "stanger's" because he's a little country, so they made a line of their 22lr called "Stanger's" as a promotional type deal.
@@KP762a Same here in the US, its his Tennessee accent ;)
I like your video experiments generally, the intro to this one is no exception
Let be honest, the only reason anyone would buy this is to dress up like Jack Nicholson's Joker
Wonder if they make a 20 inch model...
@@jarrhead3538 that one's gotta be at least 24"
That's for sure totally agree bet it wouldn't last long questionable quality
nice sona
Thanks I guess?
My friend, Paul Harrell made a video where he contradicts your statement about the velocity advantages of this 16” barrel revolver… I recently bought this revolver and I love it as well as I love watching your videos, my suggestion is to reconfirm your theory about the velocity gain since Paul’s video is putting your statement in a question mark… thanks a lot and hope this comment can help you out 👍🏻
"That's a long barrel"
Boy, I do believe that is indeed she said
Definitely like the skits at the beginning of the videos. Good content. Keep em coming.
That thing needs a wooden Tommy Gun style fore grip on that long 16" barrel!
NO NWO Unfortunately, that would classify it as an “Any Other Weapon” per the ATF. $5 tax stamp and nine months of waiting and feel free to put a grip on the barrel!
@@michaspi
Stock and foregrip like the Metro 2033 revolver?
Dinner-fork tongue Only if the Metro revolver has a 16” barrel and overall length with the stock attached is at least 26”. A shorter barrel with the stock would make it a Short Barrel Rifle, $200 to the ATF and nine to twelve months of waiting.
@@michaspi
I'm no conoisseur but I am fairly sure it, with the extended barrel mod, does reach 16". It's a VERY long barrel.
Dinner-fork tongue Then it’s totally fine with the extendo barrel. Anything shorter than 16” and it’s an SBR.
Plinkster, love it. I bought the Joker model. The.grips were crap. Put the new backstrap and rancher rifle sock. If that wasn't enough I rolled in a Heritage custom "Dead Man's Hand" .22 WMR cylinder. Pretty darn happy.
If plinksters ever in a duel if he misses [which is unlikely] at least he can knock the other person out with the barrel 🤣😂🤣
Always loved the Joker gun, I thought of it too. RR is a decent revolver for the $$.
"It's an .88 magnum." Joe Piscopo, Johnny Dangerously.
I was searching the comments for this
"My Old Man did that to me once. Once."
This goes through armor. And through the victim, through the wall, through a tree outside
Yes, love opening skits! Show creativity...
My heart dropped, I thought you were gonna actually shoot the Lego guy :)
I will not call any firearm a toy. However the heritage rough rider is about the closest you can get and still be a firearm.
One of my favourite plinking guns, and my go to for when I take a first time shooter to the range.
Well you know what they say about guys with long barrels...
FokkerBoombass more stopping power
Big feet.
Why do you think I bought one
Needle D
They have increased terminal ballistic stats
I have a H&R with both cylinders and a 12" barrel.... love it!
Its an 88 magnum ... it shoots through schools!
The Owner's Instruction Manual has a paragraph warning not to dry fire the revolver. The firing pin will hit the cylinder when dry fired. This can damage both the cylinder and the firing pin.
Great videos.
I just do it sparingly on empty cases. They come with a plastic guard but it wears out easily.
Get a spare cylinder and cram art erasers in it
Almost have to have one just because you wouldn't normally see one like that.
Fun stuff! Keep the skits coming. Shooting the gun out of Legoman’s hand was impressive.
My heritage fell apart wish they had better quality.
With 16"? Why didn't they put a stock on it?
They do. Herritage rough rider Rancher.
They make one with a stock called the rancher.
Great video btw. Well done. Again, best regards from Ireland. God bless. 👏💚🧡🇮🇪🇺🇲❤💙
Got mine some time ago... Mine has the fatigued American flag grips.... love it.... thanks for all you do... long time sub from Auburn Hills Michigan
