Hi, great video but 1 question I have is as you back up and get closer to an object factory cameras they beep then beep faster the closer you get. My question is does this beep also? 1 other question is I have a Toyota Tundra will it be ok with the distance from front to back? Ty in advance.
This is pretty cool. I can modify this and add it to my front somewhere creative. This will allow me to get closer to parking bumps and not jack up my front lip.

Please update your video. The link you have here brings you to a product that no longer includes the remote button. I contacted the seller and they said the remote button was replaced with a on-off button on the cig lighter interface. Our unit has this type button. Camera boots up automatically when you start the car. We did order. Easy to install and set up. It's been raining every day so we will see if it can hold up to continuous dark rainy days. Luckily, we have until Feb 26 to return if it fails. Pretty good quality image.

I bought this unit but don't want to have the cable running to my cigarette lighter inside the cabin of my 2003 mercedes 240C. is there a way of wiring it to a switched fuse to power the unit only when the car is running? I already tried cuting the lighter adapter off and runing it to a fuse block inside the car but all the fuses had constant power and the camera would drain my battery...any help would be appreciated...

Yes but the battery life will very but since you’ll be on the road and the sun will be out. It’ll charge.
@@ButterNoToast , thanks! So I bought one from FBM, it had a remote on the cigarette lighter power input. It doesn't work for continuous streaming, it streams a maximum of 90 seconds at a time.
Secondly, it keeps losing connectivity between the camera and the monitor. My trailer was 17 feet in length plus 20 feet of the truck

You could go to any auto parts store and get anti theft screws. They make some that require special tools so that a normal screw driver can't take them off
But yeah, you're risking a possible theft. I'll be ordering one for my trailer and I might remove it when I'm not driving since it only takes a few sec to install

For the person who asks - doesn't my 2022 car have a back up camera.... yes it does but I have a lifted 4x4 with a rear tire carrier so my rear view is completely blocked with my stock back up camera.

so you have to turn it on every time you back up? that seems lame, how long does it take to power up?
Turn on instantly the moment you press the button. I have place my button on gear shift lever, so every time i hold it to put in reverse i push that button too. It became a habit now.

I would get this one if you want ease of install and solar powered. The BosCam one is more hardwired.

Jeep owners these cameras are great…..but, if your license plate is located on the lower left rear of your Jeep the camera is useless as a backup camera because the backup guidelines are off center. It’s still great as a rear view camera though.

It is slightly adjustable. However it fits all US state plates.
I just order one and it does not have that button to activate the camera. The button is now in the cigarette lighter plug which I dont like. I dont know if brand offer that removable button so I can put it anywhee you want
You can contact the company through Amazon and ask about it. They should find you a solution.

the screen kills it...just make it connect to a head unit or a clip on rearview mirror ...the buttons a pain in the ass....the solar part is cool but that's why it cant work with the just put ur car in reverse feature

Very easy to install but they aren’t waterproof like they claim. I’m on my third one in the last year and each one has died after a handful of carwashes. Water kills the solar panel. Even tried waterproof tape over the rubber plug where there pair button and USB input are but it still gets in. Garbage. Just gonna pay to have one hardwired into my car.
