The video was very helpful and easy to follow. I was able to replace in about an hour. Just FYI, be sure to reset the power windows limit switch when switching motors. I had this issue when replacing the motor. My window would roll down approximately 2 inches after rolled all the way. After a little googling, I discovered the problem (power window limit switch). I was also able to find a oem replacement motor on ebay for $60. Just FYI before going to the dealership.

I have a 2004 Titan. Passenger side was problematic for about 2-years, but I lived with it. Summer 2011 I got fed up and paid the Nissan Dealership $580'ish for the motor and labor to replace. Just prior to that the driver's side began acting up. I stumbled across APDTY on e-bay, saw this video, ordered the replacement motor and did it myself for about 20% of the cost. Took me about an hour in the rain. Could have taken less. THANK YOU.

Hi, I am assuming that you probably have it fixed by now, considering this was asked a week ago, but if not, try banging on the door with your hand while at the same time trying to roll the window up. Often this will jar the window motor just enough to start working temporarily.
I do not know of any way to test the transmission fluid, I am sure it can be done, but is probably expensive and has to be done at a laboratory somewhere. If you suspect they put the wrong transmission fluid in, it might be worth just buying the correct fluid yourself, and biting the bullet and having somewhere flush it again, (But make sure they use the fluid you brought with you). Good luck
When the regulator goes bad, it fails pretty dramatically, the cables will often snap, or the pulleys will break off, and when that happen, the window will usually fall down into the door. If it's just the motor, the window will freeze and not move. Once you take the door panel off, you should be able to inspect and see if the regulator is bad.
Thanks for the video, It took me about an hour and saved me a lot of money. I have a question? When I tested it out before putting back the door panel it was working great. But after I put back the door panel it was slow to come up and and struggling towards the top to come up. Is it possible to tight the door panel too much?
@okf***giveme the window regulator is basically the "Elevator" which carries the window up and town, the motor is the component which operates that "Elevator". As of right now, I don't think that the window regulator for this vehicle is available on the aftermarket, which is probably why you are having trouble locating it.
The door panel shouldn't in any way effect the speed of the window, that is a very strange symptom, the only thing I can suggest is to ensure nothing behind the door panel is pushing in at the wrong spot when the panel is on? I am sorry but I am just not sure.
Just replaced this same motor. Just be careful...when wedging anything between the window...be careful not to damage the window film..if you have that on your glass. I scratched mine... Just a recommendation.
could my window regular be bad? My drivers side window doesnt work but my other windows do. When I tried to test it, a spark came out and my passenger window behind the drivers side doesnt work anymore. But it does work if I use its own button on the passenger side. The motor does work. What do I need to change out? my window switch?
+Abner Leyva So first if you have a Nissan, then you may have a delimiter switch on the motor that may just need to be reset. We are doing a video on this process very soon to show you. You probably need to pop off the door panels and inspect both windows and also test the switch. This depends on the exact vehicle you have and the spark is not a normal thing either so hopefully no other electrical issues exist.
i took my 2004 titan for a trans flush as you my know you have to have a mag fuild J is there a way i can test it to make sure they putt the right trans fuild in because my maunl shift mode stop working. any tips.? thanks

One way would be after loosening/removing the motor, separate the motor from the regulator and manually turn the regulator to re-position the window (failed motor scenario). If it's the regulator that failed, cutting the regulator cables would be another way to re-position the window.

On 2006 qx56. Driver window dropped all the way down and wont come up. Motor spins and the window is on track.
Is there something loose?
Just replaced this same motor.

My 2004 Nissan Armada Driver side window stuck all the way down. How do I get to the screw that attach the glass to the regulator?
