your the fkn man bro i did everything as far as testing for power up to the window motor got power so im pretty sure motor is no good now but ya i pushed the button on my 06 titan and had it roll down all the way on its own as it has that little feature or what ever you call it lol but this time it kind of made a pop as i felt on the door arm rest and lol well i think the motor is done for sure but now i have your video sir if i need to refer to it so just saying thanks for upload it served its purpose for the viewers thumbs up

How can I test to see if is the switch, regulator or motor? Whenever I push the switch, I just hear a click and nothing happens, the window is all stuck down. Please help me diagnose the problem.. Thank You!!

@a1hocker If they are only getting stuck when raising both at the same time, and then begin working again after a little while, I would suspect that the problem is the thermal circuit breaker (I am somewhat guessing because I am not familiar with aftermarket windows). When rolling both windows up at the same time, it puts a huge current load on the circuit breaker, which could cause it to pop open, the windows won't work until it cools down and resets itself. You might need a higher amp breaker

Cool video, I know it’s been a while since you posted it, but, do you happen to know in which order the colored wires go into the switch connector, mine came off and I can’t figure it out, your reply will be greatly appreciated.

Yes you have to reset the auto up and auto down functions, google that procedure or really all you do is hold the window up button down until the window goes all the way up and then continue to hold the button down 5 to 10 seconds longer, then do the same for the down side of the switch, repeat the proceed if it doesn't work the first time, you should be starting the process with the window all the way down and raise it up and same on the down side.

Thanks for the video. I have an issue, however.... I replaced the motor so the window now goes up and down. However, when I let the window all the way up it automatically goes down a little. Do I need to reset the module memory or something so that this does not happen?
Yes you need to reset the auto up and auto down, to do this, run the window up while holding the button down and keep holding the button down 5 seconds after the glass is all the way up, then do this for the down side of the switch and that is all, if it doesn't work, repeat the process.
It sounds like a sign the motor itself is going bad and binding when moving in the up position, this truck had a similar issue.

What if the motor is broken with the window down all the way, how can I get it to come up enough to unbolt the regulator.
Yeah if that happens it certainly adds a little more difficulty. The first thing is try and tap or bang on the motor while attempting the window switch. Sometimes you can get it to work one or 2 more times to get it into a workable position. If that doesn't work, you have to create more access by either unbolting the motor form the regulator while it is still in the door, or unbolt the entire regulator and work it around to get to a place that allows you to disconnect the glass. If you do this, be very careful and it is best to have a helper hold the glass once the entire regulator is unbolted.
I figured it out and it was quite easy doing it alone, I was able to fit a small bucket head ratchet just enough to unbolt the bracket and had to remove the speaker housing to unbolt the other, then used a piece of pipe insulation to hold the window in place. Everything went smoothly.
This suggestion was the magic fix. I was stuck, didn't want to cut the cables. I was able to continue, only had to replace the motor, no regulator (if I cut the cables I would have had too). Thanks a million!

My motor groans and tries to pull the cable but acts like it's stuck. Any ideas?

APDTY- THANK YOU!!!!! HOWEVER, MY WINDOW IS ALL THE WAY DOWN SO I DON'T KNOW HOW I WILL REMOVE THE REGULATOR SINCE ITS GOTTA BE HALF WAY UP TO REMOVE THOSE TWO BOLTS. PLEASE HELP!!
Just put a hose or something the whole the glass up then on remove those 2 bolts that hold the glass in place .
After Installing new motor and installing regulator tracks you can rise to meet glass.
Will it be the same process for the rear windows please let me know ASAP :D

The plastic clips that are glued to the window broke. Do you know where I can buy some online?
Unfortunately at the time of writing this, I was unable to source those. I think they might actually be part of the glass and replacing the glass might be the only way to get new clips.
I have run into broken clips before. They can be tricky to find around town and the dealer will only want to sell you the window. My friends at Safelite were able to help me out. They have a ton of clips that fit different model vehicles. The clips also require a special adhesive that needs to sit for 12hrs.
I have after market power windows on my titan and they get stuck if I raise both front windows at the same time. Is this a way that I can fix that problem or is it simply cheap after market parts?
Very hard to say, we have never messed with adding power windows to manual models, I. sure part quality is a major concern as it always is.
I bought the motor from you guys earlier this year, it was working great, but now when i click on the switch the window won't go up or down but the motor is running. What do you think it could be?
If the motor is running and no window movement, then the regulator most likely failed, The regulator is the cable and track system used to transfer the mechanical force of the motor to make the window glass go up and down. Once you take the door panel off, you will probably see the cable came apart or the clips not he regulator broke, wither way regulator replacement is needed, also do not run the motor very much or it will also be destroyed, the motors are meant to have a load on them.
@@APDTY thanks for the reply. After pulling the panel off and inspecting it, i believe it is the regulator as i plug the motor back into the window switch and rolled the window switch up and down, it seems the motor is turning properly in either way. Thanks for your help. Will be getting that replace soon.
@@APDTY i just replaced the window regulator and it still doing the same thing. So I replaced the window motor and it worked again.
