ACO > ACO. You know which one is better ;)
Xenonz Kenway™, Odyssey, obviously.
@@justauser5222 you spelled Origins wrong ~~
ORIGINS
Yes AC Or, not AC Od.
Odyssey malaka.
The voice actor for Bayek is incredible. There simply hasn’t been enough recognition for him
yeah about that, for me it was a pain in the ass
Spot on, mate. It's like he really invested himself in the core wound of the character. It got to me if not everyone, anyways..
Carson Leidlein I was invested with Bayek the minute he delivered his first lines in the bent pyramid in the prologue, that delivery gave me chills! Origins is So good!!
@@Rysix19 why?
Bayek is getting a sequel in 2020 on PS5 and Xbox SX already confirmed by Ubisoft
“Sleep? I never sleep, I just wait in the shadows and I *WILL KILL YOU ALL, EVERYONE WHO SNIFFED THE AIR THAT DAY IN SIWA* “That exact moment I was hooked on the character.
Xi Jinping my lord it is an honour to be in your presence
Sir you better control your virus rather than wasting your time on games.
Yes sir, The voice acting was perfection. Then Ubisoft have us a forced male voice going “Chaire” Origins remains the number AC RPG
SAAAAMMEE hes ruthless
Except he went to sleep 5mins later
Seriously, we need a Bayek sequel. I think they underestimated how popular he'd be. Best character since Ezio.
He is also the FREAKING FOUNDER OF THE ASSASSIN CREED,This is a golden chance for a sequel
There’s not anything else to do they ended Bayeks story
@@Jack-ff8ri They ended the story of him helping found the assassins, but just the dlc alone shows there's still plenty of story he could have as long as he's still alive. It's not like Rome's interaction with Egypt ended with Caesar
Edward kenway is the best bro
GOD himself Edward Kenway was by no means a bad character but his story really didn’t start to kick off or get interesting until the 8th-9th sequence. Bayeks however his character always felt interesting and I wanted to know what happened next, sure he wasn’t flawless but he was certainly the best we’ve seen since Ezio and if he got that well deserved sequel he could easily compete with the Ezio Trilogy.
I think odyssey would’ve been great if it wasn’t titled “assassin creed”
Drouge fr it nothing like assassins creed but I kinda like it
IKR!!! they really fucked up
why does it matter
I've had to say this mutiple times though... As you know the first three episode dlc's for Odyssey was just finished. Basically that tells us the beginning of the Assassin's "Creed"/Group. The main story though focuses on the so called "Templars" Later in the different games, Those who want the power that runs through the tainted ones or first civilization material these are the higher power in this games universe those who created and built the world as we know it. They left artifacts around the world that the Templars want, They wanna use those artifacts to manipulate the everything as they are extremely powerful, The Assassin's are those who protect the artifacts and the tainted ones. So this game surely have it's right to be called 'Assassin's Creed' you people just don't have the fantasy nor the knowing of the games history and universe. I personally absolutely love Assassin's Creed concept of the world it plays out in.
@Yung GPS ye but it still sucks ass as an assassins creed game , u feel me?

@@bluehornet197both origin and odyssey are amazing
In my opinion Origins feels like it is a more polished game.
I think origins it feels more realistic because of the graphics or something like that. The only thing bad about Odyssey is that is not realistic like example when I get wet it doesn't show I am but in origins it does, I think that is what it makes it bad.
Umm George accually it does, Odyssey has more realistic features than Origins. Not sure what u game on, but mabe get a bigger screen, and definitely get a 3840X2160 capable Tv with HdR? Besides Kingdom Comes world, Odyssey has the best graphics i have seen in 30 years of gaming,no games clouds or sky look better than Odyssey, the way they mist like real clouds and not just flat still clouds images that every other game does even high graphic games. I game on a 66" 2160p (4K) and i can tell u Origins looks amazing to, almost exactly like Odyssey, just Odyssey is a spec better.
@@chrisd8180 u do not understand what I am saying. What I said was that origins feels more realistic because when I get burn or wet it shows the effect of it and I can see the damages of it and the part were I am wet and then it goes away. and that makes me say wow nice graphics but Odyssey doesn't almost like u never got burn or wet. Play origins and get burn and then do the same thing to Odyssey u should see what I mean by it later on.
didn't those game run on the same engine, no?
@@LamTran-sz5li I have no idea.
In many ways I think that Odyssey's characters felt more like they were out of a box of toys and thrown into a really large world and Origins felt more personal story based
Origins taught me about Ancient and Roman Egypt than school ever did .

I loved Origins. Bayek shot up to my favorite AC character, or at least my second, very quickly. The Egyptian landscape was stunning, and walking among the ancient cities and temples and pyramids was so cool. I never felt like I was visiting a similar looking city or location. The story kept me interested, and Bayek's voice actor did a great job.
I absolutely love the Egypt map, Egyptian mythology is so cool to me and seeing this beautiful map is so cool
There was like nothing but sand in 3 regions

Kakashi Uchiha no
jk 5627 but everything looks so cool especially the towns and cities
The towns are still greek cultured in origins...
Origins is much better, the chills I got in my body when the Egyptian music came in, it just sent chills through me, and the fact that the story of the assassins creed origins is so personal makes me feel more connected with the character, in my opinion Origins is better!
as long time fan... i would said... origin is off and they start to do RPG.... and i did went to their showcase... people who like egypt might like them... but i gave up near the end since i was stand it with level up... and i finsih unity twice and just done with odassy dlc... both game had it good point... but i like greek setting more...

I spent my honeymoon visiting the ancient ruins scattered around Greece. Best 6 weeks I've ever had. It was thrilling to play the game in that world and see it in its glory.

@@gplay6698 Totally getting that. The only ac game I ever finished back then was ac4 (got me hooked to the series) on my ps3. Played a bit of syndicate and even a bit of Origins. And damn did I love origins even though I never got around to finish it. Always kept hearing about the older games especially the ezio trilogy and I decided to play the entire series this time by starting from the beginning. So I installed Ac1 and I just finished it 3 days ago. Playing Origins and then playing that really got me to see how far the series have gone. Anyways, as old as ac1 was, I loved the character progression of Altair and the story was solid enough though it did leave me hanging by the end with so many questions and sheer confusion. I just installed ac2 to my pc right now and I am excited to see what all the fuss and hype was about surrounding AC2 specifically Ezio.
odyessy was good if it were to be a stand alone game but its just eh as an assasins creed game. Stealth isnt as good and its basically a warrior rpg which contradicts the game's title. Playing Origins again, it feels refreshing and I still think ancient Egypt is one of the best settings so far.
Aaron R how can u spend 60 hours and not finish the story buddy. That’s literally how many hours I have in the game. Finished most main stories
@@jroyalll for me exactly 60 hours and 30 mins. Exploration mode, with completing pretty much all of the end game bosses and completing one of the DLC's

I really dont see how people needed to grind in this game. I played it through it at my own pace, did the quests I were interested in and finished the main story plus all atlantis bosses/quests that isnt dlc. That was in 60 hours. Medium difficulty. I really dont understand how people found themselves underleveled in this game so often, and if you did somehow end up behind on xp it was really easy to catch up in the arena.
@@pinguselen6771 I didn't find the arena until like hour 50 and still I was never under leveled. I've been a huge fan of ac for years, ac 2 was my favourite, then ac3, but origins... origins has taken the throne it was just an amazing game to play I felt so invested in what was going on.
Why do you have to do ezio dirty like that??
Idk man I really liked connor from ac3, the best story by far would ezios as a whole tho, I really loved revelations too old ezio was just majestic asf in my opinion but bayek caught me off guard, tbh i hated unity, and didnt like syndicate much either so going into origins I wasnt expecting much but bayek story turned out to be another gem, he wasn't an assassin but held all the same kind of motives he slowly uncovered a templar plot and wasnt afraid to bring it down thus being the secret creator of the assassin brotherhood nobody remembers him and I bet hed prefer it that way, no glory just honour
Yea I could see that, but when ezio was talking to Desmond in revelations. That scene was epic man and ezio as story was so good and also very sad. They are both great characters tho, I just got odyssey so I'm going to have to form an opinion on which is better
Same here. I liked 3 until Origins blew my mind. I know everyone loves Enzio but I just could never invest in him like I did for Altier
Ac2, black flag, and origins are my top 3 in the series. Origins elevated the series with the game play I kinda knew what to expect with odyssey but the main story in origins was more enthralling to me
I felt emotionally vested in Bayeks character and that was the difference for me. I cared.
Shadya, despite for appearing short, I still cared for her death and I was motivated to actually avenge her. As for Phoibe, despite she's practically Alexios/Kassandra, (I don't even know who's real, who's the worst character btw) adopted sibling, I didn't care actually.
You cared because it was written. You had no choice changing the way of the story

Low Horvath yeah, it makes the leap of faith (which is the only thing they kept from the Original AC) useless.

Currently 35hs into Valhalla and have played most of the AC games (with the exception of the first one, which I never got around finishing) and I will admit to have enjoyed Odyssey the most. The setting, the immersive maps, Kassandra's charisma... I never wanted it to end lol.
Alexios is my boi but Kassandra is still good
I actually love AC Origins, despite it breaking apart from the original format of what an assassin is. Your character doesn't have eagle eye or the fighting skills of an assassin because he isn't one, but rather a influencer. He's technically an assassin, he uses the hidden blade and can perform leaps of faith, but he doesn't have eagle eye as he isn't a fully-developed assassin like later members of the Creed, such as Altair or Ezio. It develops over time, and Origins does a perfect job of showing the primitive origins of the Creed, as well as having a good reason to make Bayek weaker than the other future assassins, seeing as he technically isn't one, but develops into one throughout the story. Also, Bayek's character is legendary, it's not multi-dimensional choose-your-own-path as other would say, despite having RPG elements but rather linear and amazing in the way of which he actually has personality. It feels as if we're playing as a normal person again. So IMO AC Origins is pretty good.
CRAZYD4VE87 the story was so boring and PC predictable in Origins though. Trying to get you riled up against people in masks who you've never met, by getting them acting over the top. Misogynistic, grabbing crothes, etc. It was so see through. When you see the strings of the puppets the magic is lost.
@@gold333 true but the same can be said about the Ezio trilogy in AC2-Revelations whereas the main antagonists were practically the same, random people you don't know killing your family and taking over, trying to kill you so you rebel trying to kill them, only to find out that you are just as bad as time moves on and you continue to kill them. Also, the same thing could be said about any video game or literature, or anything with a plot. They start off as strangers but develop into loveable or hateable characters later on throughout the story. That's the essentials of character development. It is however, sad that the characters seem to never be developed enough on this game before you kill them. That's really the only issue I have with this game besides the parkour sometimes making no sense, letting me climb up a vertical mountain.
@@crazyd4ve875 Eagle vision doesn´t develop its a gene of the first civ, or so it was back in AC 1 and 2. Not all assasins had it, heck I think only Desmonds lineage had the ability but since Ubisoft doesn´t know wtf to do with AC it migh as well be fan fiction at this point.
Kawhi Leonard u think im woke?
I love that the assassins (hidden ones) come from former medjay I think it ties in very well and I prefer senu/ ikaros over using the old eagle vision I thought that was a great addition to game play as well as the new combat because the old combat was too repetitive
They're taking a break again, please give us a bayek sequel, atleast let him be a part of the game.
Hrithik yeah
Yeah at least
I really wanna play as bayek again or see him part of the next game
I would like a cross era assassin's creed game that finishes the previous games protagonists story.
Please no. His story is finished. Assassins Creed has never been about the protagonists, but about a certain goal they wanted to reach and about a piece of eden/ anything Isu related. Bayek's quest was to avenge the death of his son. He fulfilled his quest. I would rather like to see an AC set in Rome, set directly after Origins. Maybe as Aya, or as a student-assassin as part of Aya's brotherhood. Or a bit later, during the reign of emperor Nero, or any of the other 'bad' emperors. But Bayek's story is completed. Also he was a rather boring assassin.
If we don’t get a Bayek sequel I’m rioting.
Origina is 100% the better AC game i just wish they would have had the Odyssey loot system in Origins. You can tell they listened to the feedback and made it a better system in odyssey.
I'm playing Odyssey now and it's a very streamlined and fun experience as an RPG, although as an Assassin story game Origins is better, and I'll definitely replay it.
- Better acting in Origins, as same as the Bayek's origin.
- Kassandra and Alexios are so, Eh, ok...
- Both have an incredible map and world.
- I miss my shield :(
- Better themes in Origins.
- Navigation throught the world (parkour) in both games are Ok, not as goog as Unity.
- Great side missions on both games.
- Graphics, is a difficult thing to discuss, ilumination on both games are really diferent. But great graphics.
- Ancient civilization was way better in Odyssey.
- I don't like the "Good" ending in Odyssey. It don't make sense , killed the most of the characters, is way better and more believeble.
- Order of the Ancients vs The Cult of Kosmos, i preffer The cult.
- Better fighting style in Origins.

Origins because it was the last assassin’s creed game that felt like an assassin’s creed besides from all the gods you fight
Edit: Imagine being such a douchebag that you shit on people for liking other game’s. At least origins has a hood, hidden blade, Templar’s, and eventually the creed
Assassin's Creed 3 REMASTERED
origins wasnt that much of an assassins creed game
Bluetoothgroan good point, but I believe that origins was meant to be a foundation of the assassin’s creed. So it wouldn’t be much of an assassin’s creed game
origins is better at being an assassins creed game. odyssey is a better RPG type game.
They made God fights bcz it just wouldnt feel like Ancient Egypt if u didnt see the Gods
I have to say I love Origins a lot more than Odyssey. Here's why:
Story: Origins is a lot more personal than just being whatever like Odyssey. But also this, I don't get bored. In Odyssey I enjoyed the beginning part but once I got to the middle, it got boring pretty quick
Enemies and levels: the enemies in Odyssey were a pain in the ass. You can never find an enemy lower than you that you can beat. They are all damage sponges so it takes quite a while to kill someone. Even a chicken can kill you if you're not careful.
Also the levels are tougher. In Odyssey It took me at least 2 days of grinding missions just to reach level 10 while on Origins it took me 2 hours
World: Odyssey is great and all (especially the fact that Spartans are my second favorite type of people) it was just too big. I didn't enjoy fast traveling everywhere.
All I'm saying is I loved Origins more than Odyssey. Say what you what, that's what I think
I was always 2 levels ahead from every place I was going, all you that complain about levels are just average to bad to trash players. Also iit was nice that know matter how many levels you are gonna be the enemies are always 2 levels beneath you.Not like origins that you return to Alexandria and it's like fighting kids
Akis Sasadwe no it sucked. I personally like origins much more just because i think the story is greater and I enjoyed walking around. Odyssey gets boring very quick and in origins I liked the fact that late game everyone was much weaker then you
Akis Sasadwe and you were 2 levels ahead because thats how normal mode in odyssey works
I think that in the story origins was better, but odyssey’s combat just felt smoother.
Odyssey's level scaling system doesnt give you the feeling that you actually grow your character like in Origins
Odyssey has a lot of great features and improvements such as the mercenary system, the cult system, naval combat, individual armor elements, better animated npc animations, and more legendary armor.
However I would still consider Origins the superior game and here’s why. Despite the improvements that odyssey made, it also made steps backwards.
1st- The protagonist. Alexios and Kassandra were find but Bayek was most certainly a more interesting character in terms of story, voice, and cinematic animations.
2nd- Combat. I thought this was Odyssey’s biggest misstep but it’s also more opinionated. Origins camera was closer slowing you to admire your weapons and equipment more and giving you a closer look at the brutal combat and it’s fantastic animations. The zoomed out odyssey view plus spongy enemies and less combat animation was a large negative factor for me. And when I say less animations here’s an example. In origins you can hold down the light attack button for an alternate attack instead of the typical light attack. Odyssey only had normal attack and charged attack. Small details like that were negative for odyssey.
3rd- Skills. Again this is just my preference but I hated the integration of skills in combat In odyssey. This also has a lot to do with my preference that combat not have too much “magical elements” in it but I generally disliked all the silly abilities you could employ in Odyssey’s combat.
4th- story an cinematics. For many story and some side quests Origins had beautifully animated scenes that Odysseh never quite emulated. However, for a lot of side quests in Origins the camera view is over the shoulder of Bayek and the npc you interact with is not too well animated while talking. In odyssey every interaction is close up with dialogue choices and a lot of the faces look better than some in Origins.
5th- NPCs. This applies to both Origins and Odyssey as they both have this issue. Look at a game like Red Dead 2 and the NPCs are amazingly lifelike and realistic. In both latest ac games NPC’s constantly ruin immersion by getting run over by horses, or saying the same four lines over and over again, or just doing really weird things. As NPCs are a big part of assassins creeds world I feel Ubisoft could improve in their behavior to make them seem more real.
I feel you deserve more likes, but I feel people are too lazy to read it all

Chris Trasa Agreed, also the present day sequences were much better as well.
Origins is the better game due to it actually being an ASSASSINS CREED game, plus the enemies weren't damage sponges and it had an actual character with good voice acting. Odyssey defiantly had the yearly release feeling to it and it showed in the quality.

I played through Origins last year and it's DLC. Had an amazing time, finally got around to starting Odyssey yesterday and even though I am only like 10 hours in it's just no contest. Origins is the better game in pretty much every way, the art style, gameplay, story, characters everything. Though I do like Odyssey in very much the same way I did Black Flag as an AC game that really isn't much of an AC game. As an RPG with tons of things to do Odyssey is great but you can tell it was made by the Ubisoft B-Team (Quebec). Which makes me all the more excited to see what the A-Team (Montreal) has to offer with Valhalla.
I have few questions for origins:
-How is the Naval?
Because I never played the new AC games (the latest AC I played was Rogue)and I just want to know if it's better or worse than black flags or rogue
- How big/good is the map?
- How is the combat?
-How is the Story ?
-How is the Parkour?
Sorry for asking to much
But I want to buy a new AC game so I'm just looking around
I would be really happy for an answer
@@enderrz903 Okay well I will answer best I can and hopefully some other people can too. Okay since the last one you played was Rogue guessing you didn't play Unity and Syndicate either. Franchise has changed massively since Rogue honestly Origins and Odyssey have more in common with The Witcher 3 than any past Assassin's Creed game. The map in Origins: absolutely massive but incredibly gorgeous. Combat is good but again more like The Witcher 3 than past AC titles, which if that's what your used to gonna take some adjustment but worth it. It's awesome when you get the hang of dodging, light attacks, heavy attacks, and special combat abilities which depends on your build. One of the better AC titles honestly, Bayek is practically like the second Ezio people have been wanting, although some retconning has been done so if they say something that relates to AC lore and you go "wait that's not right" just a heads up. Parkour is fun but incredibly simplified, it isn't like past titles which more somewhat realistic. Bayed is basically Spiderman in that he can pretty much climb on any surface, which throws realism and immersion out the window but I got over it because it makes traversal much simpler. If you can accept those changes and the fact that AC is basically an RPG franchise now (though Origins isn't a complete RPG the way Odyssey is. Origins has many RPG elements but the story and dialogue are scripted). Then I wholeheartedly recommend Origins hands down not only one of the best AC games I have played but one of the best games I have ever played period.
@@MrDueltube thank you :)
@@enderrz903 Your welcome. Oh I just realized you asked about the Naval warfare. Honestly it's a very small part of the game you don't have your own ship like 3, Black Flag, or Rogue just just hop on and command someone else's ship during certain sections of the campaign. Like maybe 5 or less times during the campaign. Odyssey on the other hand you do have your own ship but the Naval Combat is incredibly simplified compared to 3, Black Flag, and Rogue but ultimately similar.
@@enderrz903 Your welcome, I hope you enjoy Origins like I did. If you decide to pick it up that is.
I might be biased towards Ancient Egypt but there's just something about that setting that just seems so rich and extravagant compared to Ancient Greece. Plus the execution of the setting was imo flawless in Origins. It was immersive as hell probably as immersive as any game I've ever played. Walking in the desert as Bayek and you can feel the warm breeze in your face plus the little reactionary animations that Bayek does like when he struggles or gets tired is also just amazing. Origins was mindblowing. Odyssey not so much
I agree, there’s just something so damn fascinating about ancient Egypt and how mysterious it is. Love the setting.
Literally me too, it just feels so good moving around the desert.....

Same, Odyssey would be a blast if it was in the hands of Montreal.
True
From a technical standpoint, Odyssey is better, imo. I much prefer Origins' story, though.
I just think the Quebec team is just not as interested in Ac as other Ubisoft titles. My favorite Ubisoft team has to be Montreal I have played mostly just their games and I have had the most fun ever playing any Ubisoft game when it is made by them. Assassin’s Creed Origins holds a special place in my heart, not only that it was my first Ac game I played (I played all the other titles after playing this one) but because for some reason I felt so much joy playing than all the games in the franchise, for a reason I do not know.
I couldn't make it through origins cuz of the boring dialogue and the lack of cinematography during chatting with the NPCs. I mean, how lazy do u have to be...
I'm so late to the table.
I just got into gaming a couple years ago, and only about 6 months ago played Odyssey. I really enjoyed it, but the story did feel a bit all over the place.
I just now am getting into Origins and man, it's so much more engaging. The characters are really interesting. Even minor villains are more memorable than the major villains in Odyssey (I can't remember who they were). The protagonist is great - he's just so well written and acted. I literally just go to Alexandria, so I'm still very new, but I already see how Odyssey took a step back.
I love how you expressed in the end that this video is only your opinion and everybody can decide whether they agree. Big thumbs up! I didn't want to start Origins because I have already played Odyssey and I thought it must be better and Valhalla is on the way anyway, but thanks to this video I will start playing Origins tonight.
As assassins creed i like origins, but as a game in general i like odyssey
Origins re-sparked my love for Assassin’s Creed. I hadn’t loved an AC game like Origins since AC4. The world, the gameplay, the characters, all were spectacular.
Odyssey may have had similar gameplay, graphics, etc. But it felt stale and lifeless. Amazingly, when I played these two games back to back, I would’ve sworn that Origins was the newer game.
Odyssey’s story, if one can even call it that, is so padded and drawn out that it loses its momentum and fizzles out by the midway point. Origins was the perfect length, long enough to feel like an actual journey, but short enough that it didn’t feel like a grind.
Bayek and Aya were AWESOME characters. Bayek obviously was better than Aya, but their romance was still heartbreaking and felt genuine. As much as I’m a fan of good RPG’s, Alexios/Cassandra were PAINFUL and suffered from the RPG format. The problem isn’t with the idea of an RPG AC protagonist, as I actually think that’s very cool and would be amazing, it’s the execution. Alexios and Cassandra are not customizable in appearance, voice, or anything. The key factor in a good RPG is customizability. The AC Odyssey characters are not customizable and feel incredibly restricted as a result. What’s worse, the DIALOGUE is horribly executed. I’m sorry, but offering us 3 dialogue branches that don’t actually impact the story or the characters is just the illusion of control. I shouldn’t be able to be a dickhead one day, then a saint the next with no consequences. Red Dead Redemption had a great idea with the reputation system that AC Odyssey badly needed. Odyssey also needed proper good/bad/neutral endings with overarching stories to go with your choices.
Finally, the ending. Obviously, I want to see more of Bayek. But the Odyssey ending was fanfic-levels of bullshit. Again, there’s no bad outcomes, there’s no consequences for previous choices, it’s just an illusion.
Overall, while Origins is one of my favorite games, Odyssey left a lot to be desired. There’s a good game in Odyssey somewhere, but it’s buried under the AC label. If the game had been made with no connection to the AC universe, it’d probably be far superior to most AC games. Sadly, what we got was a decent game that got hamstrung by the AC label and by execs and producers who didn’t truly know how to make an RPG.
You made a review better than the one of Fihzy
Kyle Wilson what the fuck what do you mean. There is a bad outcome. Explain.
Assassin's creed doesn't belong in the RPG setting, ubisoft has this horrible trend of trying to make all their games into RPGs and it just doesn't work. We saw this with far cry 5 being a silent protagonist (and now in new dawn too) and now we see it with ac origins and the rip off witcher 3 talking system.
It doesn't make sense seeing as you are re-experiencing history, so choices shouldn't be a thing. Ezio is Ezio, Bayek is Bayek and Alexios should just have been Alexios.
Also ubisoft, just give your games a well rounded fully fledged female protagonist if you care so much about inclusivity. No one gets happy because they can play as silent surface level woman.

At this point I fucking hate AC games with big maps, AC odyssey literally is repetition with quests even though that’s in most or all AC games but origins is balanced compared to odyssey, Odyssey focuses more on quantity with big ass world and shit story that is fitting for AC, Hell it barely has a canon.
I played odyssey and had about ~200 hours and don’t get me wrong it’s an ok RPG game I guess not so great in terms of story and I did see many side quests being non sense or repeating which frustrated me in other hands ac origins managed to make less repetition in story and make it more RPG+Story wise of a game.
