The Peak District will be on my destination list if ever I make it back to the UK. I love those rocks! The video reminded me how amazed I, too was when visiting England to see that some car parks in the middle of nowhere are Park and Pay. I boycotted Beachy Head when I saw that I would have to pay in the car park there. Cop that, Eastbourne Council!
Great video. Surprise view is on my doorstep and I have visited many times but you captured shots I have never noticed. Note to self must try harder. Thanks for the inspiration Craig
Thanks for taking the time and trouble to put this vlog together, really appreciate. Negative comments from people .... take whatever you can from this informative vlog and get out there and practice your own skills.
Nice work Graig! I like how quickly you have refine the video production flow for a better result each time...Very nice addition the "finger-pointing" explanation of the frame, really helpful for us trying to learn composition... Thank you, looking forward for the next one!
Craig.....your videos are great and informative and i look forward to the next vlog. You should have crossed the road and gone down to Padley Gorge and bolehill quarry.
e6 Vlogs hi Craig ...would love to see you do a vlog from those locations. Properly the best time would be autumn. I was there last year, Padley gorge was a great success but struggled at Bolehill. Keep up the great work...?.Will
Can you do a whole video on tripod-less rural/forest landscapes? This video was a good teaser. Saw your PenF urban landscapes video... which was great!
Great video, Craig, love that first music track. Was going to ask you, would you say that a medium grad would be a better choice than the hard grad in terms of versatility for general environments and weather conditions?
@@helenab7390 Haha! Sorry, I didn't think to look at the age of the video, never mind your comment! Just an insomniac trying to while away the sleepless hours.
Yeah, it is sharp but it suffers because of cropped view, I sometimes wish I rather had 18-55mm which is also cheap in price with bit more versatility because of 18mm wide angle

Great tips. The eye of the photographer, that exquisite thing...
I like it really much. It's very helpful to watch you how you can find shot in that busy locations.
Loved the abstract of the rocks it opened my eyes to the possibilities. Many thanks Craig.

As always a brilliant video. I love that area, but it's always extremely busy.
Yes, at weekends it can be. I almost had the place to myself though.

Thank you Craig as always, loved your 3 trees photo with the lighter grass of the foreground, well spotted.
Awesome job - I admire your creativity, and strive to build my creative eye to that level!
Thanks Craig, great work as usual!
Thank you for not using the cliché "shutter" sound when transitioning between photos.
I'm so happy I found your channel. So much inspiration, thank you
Cheers Darren
it's a great location I have been there many times, It can get a little windy though
Another excellent video. They are always firmly rooted in the real world rather than zooming off to Iceland at the drop of a hat!
Great photos
My style of photography! going not far from the car park. Enjoyed the video.
the surprise was you have to pay for car park in the middle of no were

Didn't have time on this shoot William, but yes, Bolehill is a gem, especially in misty or frosty conditions

Hi! Craig...., 👌🙌
Great video, Craig, love that first music track. Was going to ask you, would you say that a medium grad would be a better choice than the hard grad in terms of versatility for general environments and weather conditions?
No, I always recommend a 2-stop hard grad as a first purchase. Hard grads are pretty versatile.
Its not pronounced Hather Sage...
i found this a bit jarring too!
@@coelacanth9311 lol were did you gomsnooping to dig that up....🤣🤣🤣

@@coelacanth9311 We pronounce it Hathersidge in Yorkshire...😊
@@coelacanth9311 No worries. I can't remember watching this...think I stopped when I heard his pronunciations 🙄🤣
can I do landscapes like this using 35mm lens with DX body? if so any suggestions?

Did you leave your tripod?
David Roby Good spot! It probably had the camera that was recording him.
Yes and the vlogging camera too! Well, spotted. Good job I did that on purpose to make sure you watched until the end!!
You missed a tribute image to Fay Godwin at 13:54 and I can not believe you had to pay for parking!
mamiyapress I'd like to think it's to pay for the upkeep of the car park.
The rocks at 9:43 and 9:53......where exactly are they if i was coming from the carpark?
Go there, have a search and I'll tell you when you're getting warm!
e6 Vlogs this was about the least helpful reply I’ve ever seen. 😂
Sorry mate, didn't do if for me this time
Another enjoyable video. Always looking forward to the next!
