Hi everyone! Do you want to see even more from the Peak District? If so, I have since made an improved/updated version of this video with almost triple the amount of locations. You can watch it here if you like: ruclips.net/video/zjEvP_qIBSQ/видео.html
@@AlexTravels1 lots of water going over could see it in newmills odd spell of upwards water flow . search for this Kinder Downfall Uplifting plenty of videos
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video, its always great to reminisce! If you want to see any more places throughout the Peak District, I have another video with even more epic locations: ruclips.net/video/BJaNpIZtlNs/видео.html
The B52 superfortress “overexposed” wreck is such an eerie place. When you stand looking over the edge you can understand why it crashed. Walking over the top of the Bleaklow Moor you really struggle of understand the reason for the crash at first. The Peak District is my closest playground. I love it. Peverill Castle and Cave Dale are amazing. Mam Tor is one of my faves. Win Hill is my true favourite hill, which is a fab walk through the trees from Ladybower Reservoir.
Glad to know that I am not the only terrible navigator out there 🤣 and I do have to agree that sometimes going the opposite direction helps us finding hidden gems! Thanks for this video, I only drove past Peak District on a snowy day and that alone was enough reason to convince me to come back at some point - it looks stunning!!
The first ever time we saw the peak district was when we had to drive through it to get from Sheffield to Manchester, and since then we keep going back, and yep... there's not a walk out there that we haven't gotten lost on!!
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Kinder Downfall do what it’s got it’s name for, it’s so surreal and really does look like it’s going upwards. As for Castleton, you forgot to mention Cave Dale, I loved it there as a kid and still a lovely place to visit, I managed to climb up to the top from the far end as a youngster, walk along the edge and sneak into Peveril Castle, wouldn’t dream of even attempting it now even if I physically could.
Indeed! Lud's church is such a surreal place be! This is an older video about The Peak District. I have since updated it with new locations and updated info (including Lud's Church) here: ruclips.net/video/zjEvP_qIBSQ/видео.html
