There is a big difference between what you learn in business school, and what you need to know in the real world - just ask any startup founder or business owner! My goal is to focus on the real-world aspects of business, giving practical tips and tricks that are not usually covered in school.
This channel is a platform to help entrepreneurs and business owners succeed. It is also to help the world at large to be more effective and successful. The world can certainly use more inspiring leaders, more successful entrepreneurs, and more capable managers - that is what I would like to help bring about.
Who Am I?
I am a practicing management consultant, former CEO, and entrepreneur. I have led many businesses to success, as well as several startups. Among other things, I have a master's degree in finance.
I have worked across five industries, and have worked in both large enterprise and small businesses. In the last five years, I have also been mentoring startup founders and teaching business at a post-graduate level.
Why I Want To Involve My Community:
The only way this channel will succeed is with YOUR help. In order to know how best to proceed, I need constant feedback from YOU. What topics should I cover? What challenges are you facing? What questions do you have? What changes should I make?
Please contact me with questions, and I will try my best to help. Best of luck!
Why I Need Your Help:
It is also very important to me that this channel be financially independent, and not be sustained by corporate sponsors. That way, I can be objective and honest, without having to serve interested parties, or disguise promotions as “advice”. My professional reputation is very important to me. I will invest the money raised back into the video making process. Your support will allow me to continue producing videos on a regular basis, and with increasing quality and usefulness.
Thank you for being here and reading this, and have yourself an amazing day!

Have you ever been asked this?
Have you had any good or bad experiences answering it?
Wow!!!!! I’ve always answered this question with an actual story of a conflict I resolved at work. Now i know why i never get hired ....😞
Don't feel too bad - it's mainly a numbers game.
I had an interview last week for Concentrix, they asked me the same question and I answered them "I actually faced stress many times at work in my previous company but I always handled it very well and I always learn something from that" Sir was it fine answer? although It was a telephonic interview, I answered within 10 seconds, and as I said it was a telephonic interview so they gave me 1 min to speak. I stopped entire 50 seconds to wait for the next question. What do you think sir?
Hey Bill - keep these video flowing. You definitely are helping many of those who are on the hunt for jobs and require these sets of tips or guidance that you output so brilliantly. Thank you sincerely for all your efforts on behalf of everyone who may be struggling at this time.
My answer: "I never feel stress because I always plan ahead in order to account for unforeseen issues". Used it once, never again. Your videos has really upped my game. I have just this month been called in for 4 interviews, 3 of them I got to round 2 in and those occur next week. There are many videos out on these questions, but yours are the best
In one job interview, because that was the very first question, the interviewer (unintentionally) revealed to me that working for her would be stressful, and it was. My answer was, "Every night when I go home, the first thing I do is take my little dog for a walk and tell him about my day." I got the job, but I knew I was only going to stay at this job long enough to find another one. And over the course of my brief employment there, I found out that this executive was famous for going through admins very quickly. Important point: When they are interviewing you, you are also interviewing them.
That’s the whole point of an interview. To make sure both parties fit well with one another.
Yeah, of course as interviewees we're just looking to answer in ways that get us the job but it's important not to forget that bad questions like this can be a warning sign for us, too. And if we notice red flags like this, that can be a good sign to pass up one company in favor of another if we get multiple offers.
I like it. I think I would go as far to say, “I handle stress very well, but in the event when it’s unavoidable I tend to focus on team communication in the workplace.”
Makes sense.
That’s actually a really good answer. Nice.
Nice answer
Where were you in the past years? Just found the right guy👌🏻
Haha we finally found each other
@@TheCompaniesExpert Well that is also often a question - Where do you see yourself in xyz years. Any advice here?
@@kamalsharma2839 pretty sure he already answered that
I’ve always said “I find a lot of stress is avoidable through planning and preparation. How ever if I find myself in a difficult or stressful situation I tend to handle it calmly and throughly. “
Also it sounds silly but using basic alliteration in your answers helps the hiring manager remember what you said and you as a person allowing you to jump to the top of a selection process if there has been a lot of applicants.
I'm not looking for a job, but the algorithm suggested your videos to me. Short, brief, helpful and straight to the point. I just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your content very much sir!
The only youtuber that give you an awesome compliment at the end of every video. Thank you so much!
This is gold, I'm always looking for someone who will help me when it comes to interview.
And then I found your channel. You're a lifesaver.
Thank you, More Power and More Subscribers to come.
Hehehe, this was gold. STOP TALKING. xD Interviews will always be the death of me. They make me so nervous. Thanks for the video.
Thanks, and you're better than you think.
I know! I have accidentally applied this but with the most nervous grin I've done, I have to avoid grinning like the Joker during interviews.
I just wanted to say thank you, what a professional that knows what the heck is talking about without to much Bla, Bla, I became a fan instantly and started watching All your tutorials to learn more. by the way I used your tecnifique on my interview yesterday and it works. The one that you gotta say I don’t want a Job, I want this Job and explained why, that was after I finished with tell me about yourself. And that was it the interview was done and moved on to my final interview🙏🏼
Hey dude, you are awesome! All episodes, i cannot believe how logical those answers are. This is called knowledge of course and thanks for it!
I love how you combine humor with helpful information! Thank you.
Personally I've always said that I always keep a clear head and NEVER panic. Doesn't matter what sort of stress you're under - could be working behind a bar and have a customer threaten you or working to a deadline in an office. Once you start to panic you've lost, and sometimes (like in that first case I've just mentioned) it could end up with you getting injured or worse. To quote the late great Douglas Adams - DON'T PANIC.
Thank you so much for this response. Had an interview last week, they asked me this question. Answered it exactly as you said it, "I handle it well". Then they pressed for more. Responded for with the second part. It worked brilliantly and they moved on. They also asked me a whole bunch of questions and your responses were so invaluable to me. Passed the interview.
Way to go, Tendai! You're crushing it!
I love how you don’t recommend all the fluff! Very realistic answers!
👍
I'm always surprised by your answers but it makes so much sense. It's so easy to overthink the intentions of the interviewer.
It will be really hard to answer the question with a straight face and don't start laughing after this video I LOVED IT
Great answer. Sometimes if you're getting a lot of negative questions, there is a message being sent.
You are the best resource I have come across in years!!!
Awesome answers - never thought about it this way! I didn't know that we need to stop!
Literally, best advice I've ever heard about that question :)
Your videos are amazing! Keep up the great work, helping and inspiring people.
Been watching these vids and everyone makes me face palm a bit thinking on past interviews, but glad to know where I went wrong and why. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Oh well doesn’t matter, even if the interview was a disaster it’s still an experience that will be of some benefit to you.
Excellent! Thank you, Bill. Wishing you success every step of your way! 🙏🙏🙏
Hey Bill. Thank you for this video and all the "get hired" videos. You helped me a lot.
Love the SILENCE! You rock , man!
Where were you when i was young. I'm so hoock to this series.
Great content (I see it as public service)
and has a father i highly recommended to the younger generation.
Cheers from Lisbon - Portugal
You have a great sense of humor! Love it!
just nailed a very important interview thanks to these videos
Thank you, great tips. This question seems to dig the know-how, but behind that it wanna test the confidence.
I once had a hiring manager ask me if I had any questions for her at the end of the interview. I politely asked, "what is your favourite part about working for this company?", she deadpan looked at me and with an irritated chuckle said "sorry, what? Are you interviewing me now?". Needless to say, I was absolutely stoked to hear back from them.
Haha agreed sometimes they need reminding that your the one that’s going to be working there an interview is a two way street. I’ve walked away from interview when they’ve revealed something I wasn’t willing to do. Just thanked them for the time and said that I wasn’t interested in the position and advised them that they change the job advert to better suit there expectations of applicants. I was met with a very blank stare and a “I will have a word and get some thing changed around. Thank you” 🤷🏼♂️ sometimes it’s just not meant to be.
I came back here to thank you. I used so many of the tips, tricks, and strategies from your videos and landed my first 6 figure position. Had the job stress question and used the simple I handle stress very well answer. Felt so good when they moved onto the next question. The next question was tell us about a stressful time at your last position, but it all worked out. Fantastic content that is real and works. Thank you.
Nice work, Car! Congratulations on the new six-figure job!
Yay for you! Congratulations!
This is one of the best videos i saw today.
I’m very happy to watch this video because I stress too much due to my high sensitivity but handle regular stress pretty well.
SO funny and amazing. Love it.. so saying and doing that during my upcoming interview !!!
Sir.. your tips are kind of unique....I never thought of answering this question the way you did... Thank you and more power...
Very simple way to respond that I never thought about . Thank you very much! I am preparing for government interview ^^
an interview is just to test your BSing skill, just keep this in mind....
I pressed my belly button. Hopefully that helps your channel grow
LOL
YOUR HIRED :DDD
MY FAVE Video so far "just STOP" lol
Thank you!
WAIT A MINUTE, WAS THAT AN OPTION?! Only a genius could make it up! Liked the video more than the 'like' button can express.
I like to look that confident at interview 😆 usually if i stop talking they looking at me like I own them something.
They think they can ask you any question that's bad for you, and you'll just automatically answer it.
@@TheCompaniesExpert 👏
I usually handle stress very well. - breathe and pause - I usually pause, reflect in what I am trying to achieve and what is the fastest way to get there! (stop talking!)...And there you have it, simple answer not much bla bla bla. It is important you answer calmly which shows indeed you handle stress well. ;)
Man i love your videos!! Thanks for all of those tips! Great!!
Cheers, Mario!
Those pause and stare are keys. Thanks.
Thanks for the nice advice and love it. God bless you, sir.
My last interview was terrible, so here I am brushing up on interview skills to feel a bit better when going in.
This is genius! Answer the question, and stop. You're done.
I love your videos. They are going to help me a lot!
BRIEF AND SHARP ANSWERS, ALSO GREAT FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. THANK YOU SIR!
I m watching a lot of your videos in these days, Just for curiosity.
Really good conversation and for me the best part Is the "self promotion" at the end of It and not at the start for this reasons:
-you First give me advice and your content and than self promote your Channel (if i liked what i sayed i m like "let's do that, this man can have some more interesting things for me")
- if i had seen a lot of your videos i dont get annoyed by the First minute of self promo, i know Is in the end and Is Always the same so i can click on another video ASAP with no time loss
I think this thing is the best part of the approach. And the content i like It :Easy, fast but going Deep into It and smart cause you get another prospective to those situations and in similar scenarios you can use this pov for benefits.
I spent those 5 Min in this comment Just to let you know :Good job. This kind of content and method should be Always in yt
Thank you! Tomorrow is my first job interview ever. Hope to do it well!
Did you get the job that day?
I LOVE your videos haha this make my day, I will for sure remember this the next time :)
Awesome stuff, Jean! Thanks for watching!
This is Interview gold, good skills.
WOW I would have never guessed these answers! Thank you:)!
Great suggestion with assuring approach, I like it.
Damn. Of all your videos, I like this the best so far. Common sense, but i never thought of that answer. I guess we do have some leverage as interviewees.
Just found your channel! Thanks for valuable content.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Bill for sharing your experience 🙂
Video really great ❤️
I was not expecting this answer, but I did find this very funny
You are Awesome. You’ve got good sense of humour.
I love how you're actually being awkward on purpose for this question.
I always answer this way, "I like to walk, by the looks of it I haven't walked much"
Such great responses to the stress question!
Thank you so much for your advice and solutions
Hahahahaha this is hilarious "STOP TALKING". I've watched several of your videos on this series for job interviews and they're all so good. Thank you.
Why do they have to ask those sneaky questions, though? Seems as though they like to put people in distress.
Thank you so much for this it's really help me a lot to build up my confident.
You're welcome, Cesar!
Thanks Bill, subscribed to your channel and some really great advice, makes real sense when viewed from another perspective. Hoping to put my learnings and taking onboard your guidance real soon.
I love your videos... watch them a lot.
Today, I got angry/pissed off and said mean things to others in public. I feel bad that I did that. I'm sorry to anyone that I talked/gossiped about, talked about behind their back, said hurtful things to, and for anything else.
You are good. Very good. Excellent video and ty for sharing.
In my interviewing experience, the interviewer usually asks something like, “Can you give me an example of a time when you were under a lot of stress at work, and how did you handle it?”
I think that, in this type of situation, it’s good to have a rehearsed scenario that demonstrates something positive about how you deal with getting through difficult situations. Perhaps you could talk about prioritizing competing deadlines or something similar.
Yes - that's a different question - a behavioral question.
@@TheCompaniesExpert I answered that I don't experience workplace stress because I have been to war 4 times, they hired me.
That was helpful, thanks!
When I watched this video at the first time I was like... eeeh?? And after that I said something like... Mygoodness this guy is awesom!!!
Thank you. Great information.
You are amazing. I really don't know why you don't have hundred thousands of subscribers. I've never seen anyone explaining things like you, so naturally. Keep the good Job buddy.
Wow! Thanks Oto - that's high praise indeed. Thanks for watching and commenting, and I'm glad you liked the video. You have excellent taste, and you're awesome.

Wow! That was awesome.......
Great sir you give Great tips which leads canidate phycology.
Yes conflict and stress happened so many times in my previous Jobs once the other TCOM agent handover me a bundle of keys which was not arranged in good shape. And he went for break as he came back one of senior inspector visited same time he advice battery room to Open but the key not in bundles. Both argued you lost and you will penalized.
On the others hand I stayed calm and ask total number of keys as per there case they was right. I request for some time. I patroll with keen eyes and I found same place where he handover me All keys .I arrange All keys in shape number and name tags. Stress full situation always teach us to grow steadily. Win win
