My son just landed his top pick for a job. A+ content on this channel.

Hi there, I just wanted to say that you are awesome. I've watched almost all of your works. These are so helpful. I've learned so much from your videos. Recently, I've faced two interviews. And guess what, all of these learnings helped me to perform really well. And I'm not even from your continent. As you know, interviewer mindsets differ from region to region. However, the basic philosophy remains to same. I don't know whether I'm going to get the job from the two interviews. But I know that I performed really well. Sometimes, it's not about the performance or how good we are professionally. Sometimes, it's about something else. I've seen several times that the final candidate is preselected. In situations like these, interviews are just to show off that the company followed process and fair while recruiting.
Anyway, pardon me for such long comment. Bottom line is... I'm really grateful to you. You are an amazing person 🙏🏼

I have no confidence at all, to the point where I have a Master's Degree (Suma Cum Laude) in a specialized field, but am working in a job far removed from that field, for less than $15 an hour because I don't dare even try for something in my own field (long story short, I have had some bosses a long the way who just killed my passion for my original path). Now, I am trying SO hard to get my foot back into the door toward what I really love. I had one interview last week I thought I nailed, and as it turns out, I was awful, apparently, because I didn't get the job (I hadn't seen your videos and discovered I'd made some bad mistakes). I have another one tomorrow and I have been working and watching these videos so much and writing stuff down. I hope the work is worth it! I really want to do what I was meant to do.

The way to connect with interviewers is to recall they are just people. They can be often as good as floundering as you. I’ve run into nervous HR recruiters. I do recommend a quick icebreaker statement if you can fit one in. Chances are if they don’t seem human, they probably aren’t and you might not want to work there. Robots are not great to work for. This takes practice. Upbeat, positive, energetic but not overly so. Be assertive, but not aggressive. Good luck out there everyone! I’m getting practice myself as of late, having just left a pretty decent job. I just want something more.
