Thailand BKK my second home, many precious memories flying to this beautiful airport. My wife is Thai so this video was awesome, i didnt know they had a museum.
One day we will fly home eventually permanently.

Same here!! I currently live in Minburi and my Thai Wife hasn't mention there is an Airport Museum to visit! Well...I'm flying out next week - so I'll be sure to spare an hour to pop in.

Never knew this existed. Thanks for the tour. Speaking of BKK airport things to do, have you ever been to the cycling track that encircles the airport? Bike rentals are available and the long track is perfectly paved.
Wow it like a hidden gem. I'm pretty sure not many ppl knew about this Bangkok Suvarnabhumi museum ..for sure I didn't as a Thai person .maybe my next trip to Thailand I will try to visit this suvarnabhumi museum..thank for showing this museum..

Very interesting, I must pay a visit next time I visit. I don't suppose it mentions the profiteering that Thaksin's wife made from the cheap land purchasing & subsequent sale. And the Thai Airways 380's were decommissioned weren't they? But an amazing model. Did I read about a second rail link from the south?
There are plans to build an additional airport on the other side. If you want to make a model, it must be really big.

You know I'm not sure of the valilaty but I was told that the Land mass next to the airport approx 100 plus rai is called the Cobra Fields. Called this due to marsh land left untouched where there are mass cobras breeding still to this day. I would love to know if this is as true as it appeared when I was there. 👍

The official opening of Suvarnabhumi Airport took place on September 28, 2006.
