Cars made in China are clearly way (decades) ahead of other countries and I doubt GM, VW etc will ever catch up. Nowadays car packed with electronics and dozens of luxury gadgets compounds problems that will arise sooner rather than later. My choice are cars that have the minimum amount of tech / gadgets to figure out and with a decent MTBF (mean time between failure).
China is now the USA. I can see China facing the same problem as USA as people from all over the world will try to illegally cross into china for better living. Only exception is that thousands and thousands of Chinese seem to be illegally crossing the Mexican borders into USA but no Americans are doing the same thing into China. After watching this video, this seems very odd why this is not already happening. It seems that the world should adopt the Chinese economic and socio-political systems for progress and development.
Unfortunately Chinese socialism is not exportable. It works for the Chinese because it is designed for the Chinese by the Chinese. Also it is very much a work in progress and continually improving. We need to find our own way to adapt our own system of governance to work for the populace and not just the elites.
Those Chinese crossing illegally from Mexico, flew to Central America!! Most are fleeing to US because of bad debts or fleeing due to corruption theft and fleeing the law. Reason is US does not have an extradition treaty with China, so criminals cannot be extradited.

Alot of tech that cannot be fixed when it fails. EVs cannot be fixed... no mechanic will touch them. When they break under warranty they give you a whole new car but you have to wait 3 to 6 months for a new car. After warranty nobody will touch an EV car ...it's becomes a brick.
