    Great video Teya. I have used the Airport link and MRT/BTS in the past. It's a great way to get around. After traveling 25 to 30 hours and arriving at BKK around 1 or 2 am, I usually grab an airport hotel shuttle, head to a close by hotel and then sleep for 8-10 hours. If you could do a video showing a few airport hotels it would be greatly appreciated. I stayed at the Sinsuvarn Airport hotel on my last trip and was very disappointed. Keep the videos coming.

    • @hassanalihusseini1717
      @hassanalihusseini1717 Год назад

      Yes, but what is really bad about Public Transport in Bangkok is that there is no common ticketing for BTS, ARL MRT and coach services. For MRT you to use a card, for BTS the rabbit card, and for coaches you have to pay extra again.
      I wish BKK would introduce the long promised "Spider Card" finally-

    good tips about the trainlink , didnt knew about the cleaning bit and would've stepped on as soon as the doors opened (and prolly been warned or at least looked at funny ) if you need to transfer to the BTS you need to get off at Phaya Thai BTS station.(according to the video its the last station )
    wat i wouldve liked to have seen in this video (as im a first time tourist in bangkok ) is where to get / buy the rabit card for the BTS system , i know it should be somewhere at that station but im not sure where or how long it takes to get one and how to add cash/tokens to the card if you dont have a thai bank account/creditcard/ phone pay app

    • @ItsThaithings

      Thank you, Paul. You can get off at either A5 Ramkhamhaeng station OR A6 Makkasan station. And then continue by meter taxi. If you get of at A6, you will be able to use underground (MRT) but you still need to continue to BTS for OnNut station. I think it's waste time and more complicated plus price of taxi could be not different from those extend trains.

    If you have heavy luggage there is a lift at Phaya Thai from the train level to the station exit or BTS concourse. Also, when the link first opened there were non-stop trains which were a little more expensive. They were soon taken out of service. I wonder if there are any plans to reintroduce them in the future?
