there's an old time travel story entitled "You"ll die Yesterday" where- in an individual who witnessed a murder yesterday tries to warn the individual murdered who happened to be a time traveler who he see's today that he will be killed yesterday ,,, the time traveler was traveling in reverse .....he arrived today and then was traveling back in time to the next day ,,,,, which was yesterday... our individual experienced yesterday already but the time traveler had not..... I don't remember how it ended but believe the time traveler didn't know what the present day guy was talking about and met his doom anyway.......this kind of fits in with what you just posted....??????
The intro wasn't even the only time he was clumsy in that movie! Remember when he tried to casually and smoothly lean on an amp while they were playing a song, only to halfway knock it over? Adorbs.

The Beatles are a part of my life too in a manner of speaking. I grew up listening to them because the love of their music was passed down from my parents. At my wedding My dad walked me down the aisle while "Something" was playing. Then my new husband and I walked down to "Blow Away." Later "In My Life" was played during the father daughter dance. On my parents 50th wedding anniversary party I sang my rendition of the song on my ukulele.
George had a great sense of humour, delivered so drily that many don't get it. I play this every New Year's - Ring out the false, Ring in the true! makes me smile every time.

Beatles nostalgia has nothing to do with George wearing Beatle clothing. He didn't love to put on those clothes. He is singing "Ring out the OLD" at a time when he was making his break from The Beatles! He was saying he didn't need it! Ring it out! At the end, it's gone! Replaced by...pirate costumes!
He complained the most about everything when hey was fab. Read Here, There & Everywhere by Geoff Emerick who engineered a lot of their records. It's also mentioned quite a bit in other books. Can't blame him, the workload and not having any privacy and being in a band with Lennon/McCartney when you see the $ they were making from songwriter royalties.

When I was about 14, around 1983, I wrote to George and invited him to drop in for a cup of tea next he was passing by ... Perth, Western Australia. A few months later a letter from his secretary arrived in the post with a signed photo of George enclosed.

Nah he still looks like he’s in his 30s in this video. His long hair and moustache gives him an older look. It’s around the 80s when he began to age badly in my opinion. He was 44 when he sang Got My Mind Set On You but he looked like he was in his late 50s in the music video

When I was 15 in the early 1980s having discovered The Beatles round about 79 or so, I went on to buy all of George's solo albums, and 1 or 2 for Mr. Lennon and Mr. Mccartney 1 of Ringo ,so for me personally I loved all his soul of music very much, and still do.

Each Beatle has managed to churn up some really silly yet catchy tunes. And no one's complaining!

I love how so many people put down George's music. In my opinion, he was uber talented, and left awesome music for us to enjoy. If you don't think George was very good, or that this song, or another isn't very good, then why are you here looking up his videos??
yeah, I like his post-Beatles career more than Paul´s. Songwriting is not about the quantity, the quality is more important!!!

When I was 15 in the early 1980s having discovered The Beatles round about 79 or so, I went on to buy all of George's solo albums, and 1 or 2 for Mr. Lennon and Mr. Mccartney 1 of Ringo ,so for me personally I loved all his soul of music very much, and still do.
I bought this as a 45 single in 1974 or '75 in junior high!!! Great video from George!!!
