    Man, this really shows how much Harrison's voice changed; the original was more of a shy but amazingly talented young man singing, while this is a grown and confident legend.

      Indeed. Every single time I listen to the studio version, I come here afterward. His voice reaches that part of my brain that says it is just right. The guitar duel at the end, though... Sheeesh!

      Great observation, he was also in denial with the Beatles bringing in Eric to play lead. He didn't understand or was encouraged to see how great and forceful he was....we all now know now though...RIP George.

      It's true. Isn't it ironic that Lennon's voice peaked in the mid-1960s. I think those all-night sessions that George put them through wore his vocals down. But George got better and better (and more nuanced) with age.

    Mother's day 2024, all 4 sons and their families have visited. Now I 'm doing my thing. What a terrific gathering of some of the best musicians in their own right. My grandchildren's music can't compare to this. RIP George. 🙏❤️

    I loved this era for him. It was like he had fully shaken off the shadow of being a Beatle and could finally revel in who he was. So sure of himself and his talent. His voice just got stronger with age. He is so missed.

      Not underrated
      I was 14, behind the iron curtains of Soviet union, occupied Estonia, when white album released. It was shock, two LP-s, and songs Back in the... and While my guitar gently. Ofcourse there are many other compositions, like Ringo Don't pass me..., Revolution no. 9, and others, but while my guitar is still one of my favourites. 52 years.

      Actually it is 1982 Squier JV Stratocaster. It’s quality was comparable with american Stratocasters at that time. Including american pickups, hardware, it was and still is very valuable guitar.

    I did see George take a quick look for John and Paul. Old habit.
