A decade full of talented musicians.
And Londonbeat in the background.
Money for Nothing with Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Sting, Elton John,,, Amazing!!!!!
Paul is always happy to perform and was born to be onstage, but you can see him particularly happier than usual when sharing mic with Tina here. Killer duo!
It’s always a joy to see Phil Collins behind the drums!!!! He was a great storyteller and a awesome backbone for everyone on stage. He was a supporter for the trust for decades. Great times!!!!
Sting's BV's on Money for nothing are such an integral part of the sound of that song!
Nostalgic to see Stuart Adamson's Big Country opening the show. How sad his ending was.
I can' t stop watching !!! THE REALLY SUPER TALENTED SUPERSTARS. i grew up with rock and roll I'-m lucky
And TINA OMG. LOVE THEM ALL
thanks for posting it 🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍
A generation of very talented musicians and their timeless music.
Que excelentes TODOS, como se les extraña. No cabe duda que hoy no hay música, escuchas porquerias , lo siento por los chavos . GRACIAS GRACIAS GRACIAS .
El único con talento hoy en día es el señor autotune
Well, not quite the whole show. But it was an amazing night, i remember it so well. So glad i was there😊
Me, too!!
My parents had this on VHS. It amused them greatly that I would go nuts on ‘I saw her standing there’. Chip of the old block. 😂
Elton! Always brings the star power no matter the decade. He was in good voice in the 80s.
Tina Turner is simply the best!
I agree
What a band…great performances…they all enjoyed it 👍👍
Amazing concerts! I collected the official releases over many years and still listening to these cd's and lp's. Hopefully, many more concerts will be published. Thank you to the king and queen.
RIP Tina Turner, Queen of Rock.
She was a good performer. But she wrote none of her own songs and played no instruments. Not sure how she became the queen of rock. Chrisy Hynde wrote songs and played electric guitar. Or what about Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. They were known as the female Led Zep. Or how about Janis Joplin? Tina Turner should not be the queen of rock.
Great to see Big Country with Stuart....
When Tina arrives to the stage 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you! This was a great way to start a rainy day..
Thank you!
Elton dancing gave Eric a big smile!
I love watching talents jam together. Bryan Adams was in awe of Macca.
Who isn’t in awe of Paul McCartney?
Mark knopler guitar licks was fit to Mccartney's style :D
Paul is a great Rocker!
If you get rid of rer and put one letter in front of ock your smack on
@@tonydoherty2190What a brilliant wordsmith you are, mate... and if you take the T, the o, the n and the y from your name and replace them with a W, an a, an n, a k, an e and an r you get exactly what you are. 😂
🔆 What an incredible concert
I made the mistake of selling my TDK release DVDs of these shows and now very expensive to replace them. Love the shows.

Sensacional! Fantástico !
Good ol' Times☺️
Thank you for the upload, but as we all know this is not the full show. This is the full broadcast.
Big Country's Mark Brzezicki was a huge fan of Phil Collins' drumming, so much so that he waited outside a Brand X concert and did get to meet Phil - who encouraged him and wished him well. This was before Big Country made it. The two double drum on a Midge Ure live track.
Hot water what a track
Paul McCartney 😎
At 25:35 Tina turns to Mark Knopfler as she whispers "captured," signaling him to play a short guitar break before she finishes the first verse.
every single one respecting the other's talent and reason for being there. not a chance of that today
Es correcto y eso se debe porque la mayoría se conocían entre si, y son amigos hasta hoy.
Dear Editors, It would be great if you would (finally) start posting complete shows. I would love to see this event from 1988 when Belinda Carlisle performed. Thanks in advance!
I'd like to see the full 1988 TV broadcast, for Brian May and John Deacon backing others. Recorded it on video back in the day, but it got damaged.
@@barrymitchell6444 Hello. I would like to see all those old recordings of concerts, (1980s and 1990s) events from the 2000s do not interest me at all. But I don't know what Prince's Trust event it was because there are definitely two versions from 1988, two completely different stages and performers. Then Belinda appeared. Maybe it was on US territory?
@@stevabobic Princes Trust concerts were always given in the Royal Albert Hall in the UK as far as I know. I don't recall seeing Belinda Carlisle on the show I recorded, but at least two nights were held there in June 1988, and the TV broadcast was edited down from that.
@@barrymitchell6444 The 1989 one was held at the Birmingham NEC, George Martin conducted the orchestra. Regrettably all the stars that London attracts didn't appear at the Birmingham show.
@@barrymitchell6444Here's what I'm talking about. She sang two songs. This one and I GET WEAK as well as some sketch where she wore glasses and looked like a crazy math teacher.

boon gould…miss you…
I have the feeling that Paul and Tina were the two who were really into the matter
Tina Turner's legs!! I just dont understand how legs can be so beautiful!!!
When Phil Collins was playing the piano I was expecting the audience to go "DAH-dum dah-DUM dah-DUM dah-DUM DAH-dah-dum..."
Nota 10
SO FERASSSS ....
Who is the lady at 55:00?
Joan Armatrading
SupeerToop!!!!
BOOOMDEMAISSSSS
what band is that at 8:30 ?
Level 42
Bad Bunny FOREVER !!!!!!
they were real Musicians... Legends.. far far away from nowadays pushed people
Phil Collins in time and on time. anyone know whats the reported beef between him and McCartney
@@ytthrowaway4584 thank you. That's a bit disappointing!
I feel like Phil is a bit of a headline-seeker guy if you know what I mean. He worked with Paul in studio, played with him several times, was a big fan and a sarcastic comment threw him off? Come on Phil! Paul is one of the most loved persons in the world and widely recognised as a down to earth, easy going loving guy. Phil... well!!
McCartney is known for his egotistical personality, not surprised to hear about this, he's the least talented of that group and he's carried that chip on his shoulder since the sixties. What a tosser.
@ what do you mean phil is equally famous
Tina "sexy legged grand'ma" always ... ❤
George Michael ❤
Nice to see no mobile phones, and not hearing fans whooping like demented Yanks.
Not sure what an all star concert would be in 2023. It wouldn’t be like this, though. We are culturally devolving. It’s not organic. It serves a purpose. It’s forced.
Because music is as good as dead now. There is no creativity, just trend following. And while I accept that music of all eras had trends especially the 80s and synth music, however it never felt like Depeche mode and Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet and OMD were all the same, each one had their own unique identity and different styles. However now days it’s ALL the same, Mediocre rapper vs mediocre rapper, song about a tough upbringing Vs song about a tough upbringing. It all comes down to the fact that in the before the 2000’s, to make music you had to actually make music, have a band and an idea and a plan. Now days you can just press some buttons on an app and you have an entire song. Now when one person does this it may sound great, but an entire industry of upcoming “talent” all making music with their iPhone, well that leads to the hollow pool of music we have today. It’s not all bad though. I think there will be a music renaissance soon, and we might actually see some new talent appear, something which isn’t just another talentless hack talking to a beat and calling it a “song”.
