I had this song played at my wedding after the minister pronounced us husband and wife! I marched down the aisle to the song "Something!"
That sounds lovely!😊😊

To say that he was a truely gifted songwriter, is an understatement.
It's so "Harrisonian" song (and video)!

George died about a month before I was born. And his music speaks to me in a way that John's, Paul's, and Ringo's don't. They're all great, but George is the one who makes tears form in my eyes. Songs like this make me realize that everything might be alright. Thank you George, and I hope you're happy wherever you are now. You certainly made life more beautiful and fun to be in.

George’s playing was so tasteful. His fills defined the unique character of the Beatles. Garth Hudson’s unique playing and tones made the character of The Band.
Pure slide!!!
George has always provided a positive vibe and had a wry sense of humor. His music is one of the true joys in life! one of my favorite albums!

Imagine being cast in the shadow of Lennon and McCartney... No easy undertaking, I'm sure.
He's one of the best all time singers. I was getting ready to graduate from high school when this song was a hit.

So much talent in one band. George was really able to grow when the band broke up. Man were the Beatles the best ever.
We should all observe the day that John Lennon met Paul McCartney at that Liverpool church function band show in July of 1957 as an INTERNATIONAL holiday. John said, you're in the band. Paul said, cool; mind if I bring my buddy George?

George was such a gift. We were all very lucky to share the same time as him.
A true Legend! sadly missed!
Not just as applies to George, l dearly love the quote from Beatlemaniac Ozzy Osbourne, who said "I thank God every day for putting me on Earth as the same time as The Beatles."
That about covers it for me too.

He's what made the Beatles good.
@@RealGrogan He saved The Beatles from Billy's love songs.
It took 52 years but I’ve achieved retirement and financial freedom. This song will be my theme song for the time I have left. 😊
Haha. Enjoy.
Greatings 🎉🎉🎉
I love it when he grins just before he sings "be happy" in the first chorus. There seems to be a twinkle in his eye and a wry smile throughout the song.
I miss the fact that the world no longer has him in it. He has guided me back from horizons full of dark storms. He demonstrates the power of music.
Me: Hi There! ...but there's also the way he moves, by the time he is actually performing the song it self, within the video clip araising notes... near the end of it! By gi- ving too, onto the hamonical gla- murous combine of joy, peace and qualified well-insight-intent of lirics... such modern never out of time 'wowes'!
I would be too young to remember, but vaguely remember that he passed in 2001, I was a kid at the time and was too young to understand, but was still sad about it as I grew up watching the "Yellow Submarine" movie (and to this day "It's All Too Much" is my favourite Beatles song)
You said it right.
Yeah! ❤
He had such a sweet soul
Day turned black, sky ripped apart
Rained for a year 'til it dampened my heart
Cracks and leaks
The floorboards caught rot
About to go down
I had almost forgot
All I got to do is to love you
All I got to be is, be happy
All it's got to take is some warmth to make it
Blow Away, Blow Away, Blow Away
Sky cleared up, day turned to bright
Closing both eyes now the head filled with light
Hard to remember what a state I was in
Instant amnesia
Yang to the Yin
All I got to do is to love you
All I got to be is, be happy
All it's got to take is some warmth to make it
Blow Away, Blow Away, Blow Away
Wind blew in, cloud was dispersed
Rainbows appearing, the pressures were burst
Breezes a-singing, now feeling good
The moment had passed
Like I knew that it should
All I got to do is to love you
All I got to be is, be happy
All it's got to take is some warmth to make it
Blow Away, Blow Away, Blow Away

This song blew me away at a difficult time of day here at work. It’s as if George’s melodies start playing when I need to hear them the most! Thank you, George for all the music you gave for us to make our lives full of sunshine, peace and love!
Me too, I listened to his music during a difficult time when my parents were divorcing. This was one of my favorite songs. Every time I'd listen to him I'd get a feeling of hope. Which I'm sure that's how you felt, too. :)
Yo también, trabajé varios años lejos de mi hogar y fue la época en la que conocí las primeras canciones de George cantando en solitario. Me llenaban de energía para afrontar la soledad y no sentirme triste.
I am 13 years old and my dad trying to wake me up for school, then he played this song on the record player and I just remember standing up in awe of how beautiful this song was, I didn't understand what I was hearing because I was a Beatles fan then, but I hadn't heard any of their solo albums yet.

I was 9 when he died. It was pretty sad. I remember eating breakfast while the tv was on and I saw some footage of him and he looked sad. It was stuck in my head all day. And when I got home from school I asked my father about it and he said that he passed away. But now he can reach out to people who need help through his music.

He spread love and happiness. What a great legacy to leave behind.
I discovered George Harrison's music before The Beatles, and of course thanks to him I'm a deep fan of The Traveling Wilburys as well.
I love George and the extremely under rated Wilburys too every home should have their album in their CD rack alongside George. Love and miss you and your beautiful smile xxx
Dan Herrera yay a fellow Travelling Wilbur’s fan. My favourite song is Handle With Care.
Little bit of trivia for you.
George Harrison needed a song for the b side of a single.
The Traveling Wilburys are amazing. There’s simply not much better when four legends get together and jam.
I have known him since my childhood coz he is the one who did that legendary Concert for my country... The whole story is actually in our textbook and all Bangladeshi children have to read it at some point in their school life... And that's how I first learned about George ❤️
@@kroakie4I love The Traveling Wilburys, and totally agree with you. I just want to point out that the number of them was originally five ; Roy Orbison appeared on the first Traveling Wilbury album, and was highlighted on songs like "Handle with Care" and "End of the Line" (he sadly died not long after recording that first album, and was already gone when the music video for "End of the Line" was filmed; there's a touching moment in the video when his voice is heard with his guitar by an empty rocking chair.) Jim Keltner is another member of the band who I feel deserves more recognition ; he's the drummer, and his drumming on "She's My Baby" is partly what makes it my favourite Wilbury song. Apparently, he was offered the chance to be an "official" Wilbury along with the others, but humbly declined the offer.
George was the most interesting Beatle to look at. After 1967 he never looked the same in any two pictures. Always a different hairstyle, sometimes with a beard and mustache, sometimes just a mustache and sometimes clean shaven. Fascinating guy.
The most memorable and great songs written by George after the Beatles breakup.
Lol theres a lot more thats interesting than the fact that he shaved his face in different ways
Sometimes with long hair, sometimes not so long.
John too changed like a chameleon through the years. Only Paul and Ringo still looked pretty much like themselves despite hair changes.
