He still aged worse than the other Beatles did. No doubt about it. He already looked about 30 on the Let It Be cover when he was only 26. Still, he doesn't appear to have aged much from 1969 to 1977.
Brings back great memories of that place. We used to drive past George's house every other week, when visiting my mum's family who lived down the same road, in the seventies (and still do). My uncle used to go drinking with his brother Harry and my aunt worked with his sister Louise for years. Her daughter is actually named Louise after her. What a great talent and loss. Rest easy George.

My dad has been a die-hard Paul fan since Beatlemania hit the US so I followed his (my dad's) lead on that until I entered my teenage years and took a liking to John's rebellious bad-boy ways. In my early thirties I was astonished at how I was somehow able to miss the fact that George is indeed my favorite. Definitely the most talented, musically, and also funny as shit.
My favorite song of George. I love that his wife, girlfriend at the time, makes a cameo appearance in the video. The playfulness of this video makes me giggle everytime I watch it. Doesn't get old. LOVE!
"Crackerbox Palace" is the ninth track on George Harrison's 1976 album, Thirty Three & 1/3. The song was released as the second single from the album and reached number 19 in the American pop charts. Harrison's line "It's twoo, it's twoo" was lifted from the movie Blazing Saddles. It was a line spoken by Madeline Kahn about what she had heard about black men. George loved offbeat comedies like that. In the music video, future Rutle Neil Innes played the nurse pushing George in a pram. George's future wife Olivia Arias played one of the scantly dressed women standing next to his bed.
This is such a happy video even if a bit silly. What a sly grin and twinkle in his eye George has. A tender soul gone too soon. So happy he gave us such great music.
Yea. I sometimes feel there’s a tone of sadness in much of his slide guitar parts. I think slide can often times sound weepy. The guitar in this is no exception imo. I also love the slide in Blow Away.
Agree totally.....I always have a big smile on my face after watching this video. Quite possibly the most quirky and fun filled music video ever made. RIP George.
Because this is not the original George Harrison that we new in the beginning. George had a bad or funky looking tooth that stood out or should I say was set back from the other teeth it was on his right.... and had fang like pointed teeth on each side. Check pictures of the earliest Beatle George. They used doubles. Before you all get your panties in a wad about this statement do some checking.
I saw this song today listed on a Billboard chart from 1977. It was the only song I didn’t immediately recognize. Once it started playing I remembered it. I’m 58.
And another fact: the "woman" pushing the baby stroller at the beginning is Neil Innes, who played on a show called "Do Not Adjust Your Set"... with a bunch of future Pythons. He was also in "The Holy Grail" and "Life of Brian", and later did a parody movie of The Beatles called "The Rutles".
Yes - and I believe that is her at 2:36 in black bowler hat, suit and face make up - there is another video floating around explaining the making of Cracker Box Palace... he met Olivia in the states - she worked at a record or recording company

George Harrison loses like 10 years without his beard.
He looks like Weird Al
Me, too. I was practically a baby!
He is beautiful whatever.
My mother said he looked 37 at Bangladesh...
Did you ever meet George or get a glimpse of him?

Crackerbox Palace (Lyrics)
George Harrison
I was so young when I was born
My eyes could not yet see
And by the time of my first dawn
Somebody holding me they said
I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam know our love is true
While growing up or trying to
Not knowing where to start
I looked around for someone who
May help reveal my heart - someone said
While you're a part of Cracerbox Palace
Do what the rest all do
Or face the fact that Crackerbox Palace
May have no other choice than to deport you
And we welcome you to Crackerbox Palace
We've been expecting you
You bring such joy in Crackerbox Palace
No matter where you roam know our love is true
It's true, it's true
Sometimes are good, sometimes are bad
That's all a part of life
And standing in between them all

I welcome you to Crackerbox Palace

The more time goes by, the more inclined I am to think that George was actually the most talented of the Beatles.
Nah
couldn't agree more
My dad has been a die-hard Paul fan since Beatlemania hit the US so I followed his (my dad's) lead on that until I entered my teenage years and took a liking to John's rebellious bad-boy ways. In my early thirties I was astonished at how I was somehow able to miss the fact that George is indeed my favorite. Definitely the most talented, musically, and also funny as shit.
Just watch Get Back and you'll see that it's clearly Paul.

The other woman is Aussie actress/model Sue Smithers who also features in the 'True Love' video.

He shaved his beard
No beard or moustache

He looked older with the Beatles because the stress didn’t do him well lol

Here’s a little fact:
George’s soon-to-be wife (at the time), Olivia Harrison, can be seen on the left side of the bed scene in this video.
I saw her too!
