- Finally making good on my cravings to upload properly music-y videos someday -- (And if I don’t use my limited skills in this department to make every song I touch gay(-er), then what even is the point?)
This is honestly really daunting to upload since I’ve got such stagefright when it comes to being heard like this-- but I’ve been yearning to make guitar videos for such a long time now, and I’ve been learning recently that unless you bite the bullet and just DO something that scares you for the first time, then you’ll never do it at all. So this is me going ahead and doing it! Hopefully it makes for a nice bit of listening 💖
I’d really like to do more of these in future - (once my nerves settle from this one, lol) - and it’s always nice to share music recommendations, so if y’all know of any other songs that might be fun to play, it’d be lovely to hear your suggestions down in the comments ✧˖°

I both love, and think its silly that English people have just adopted this song as their national anthem, even though it was made by Americans from Las Vegas. I guess that's why they're one of Lady Gaga's favourite British bands.

For a long time, I interpreted this song as an ace guy essentially having a dissociative episode because his partner was going further than he wanted to go (and thus referring to himself in the third person), so the fact that you put on a queer spin on this song is super cool! I love your content and hope you keep making things like this! 💕

The original is so anxious and fast...like the singer is having a panic attack while talking to himself in the mirror. This is more like laying in bed at night, listening to the rain and thinking about stuff. It's so soothing, and I love this cover. Not only that, but the singer sounds like he and his boyfriend would be an adorable couple. That or they would be great main characters for a drama show.
I mean, the original was written literal moments after a very messy breakup, so I'd say it's quite like a panic attack in terms of it being an emotional whirlwind.

I love this so much. Like... it's super soft sounding in a really good way. This song means a lot to me and this makes it so much better- not only because the cover is absolutely fantastic but being able to relate just a bit more to the lyrics is so nice.
