I always thought "The Man Without Fear" storyline of Daredevil was one of the best I've ever read personally
If I was a mutant in the X-Men universe , I would've joined Magneto's side in a heartbeat.
Same
100 percent! Fuck humans!
Yeah
@Chaz Bustos why wouldn’t you you’re being targeted for having powers and you want me to join the side that’s cooperating with them hell naw
This seems like an allegory for racism because it basically is. Both dudes are valid. That’s why the war against the two sides are so compelling. Do you have the radicals who are angry for what’s happening to their people and will take action through violence and those who realize violence only breeds more violence.
Daredevil is highly underrated
Even if the Netflix Series brought back the character into the MCU, almost NO ONE in my country have never heard of Daredevil, Which made me quite disappointed considering that DD was one of the most, if not, THE most relatable character in the Marvel Universe. (Well... imo and to me anyway... cause i've been through alot of problems similar to DD... except being blind, Not romanticizing blindness or anything)
He's my favorite superhero. His movie was terrible though. His TV show is great.
+Abhinav Patle Pssh... Black Bat is the one whose underrated (the character Daredevil got away with ripping off. Similar to how Batman is a ripoff of The Shadow and people just simply forget about it).
+RamsTheNameCom their only similarity is they are blind. Just saying. And one got blind when a kid, one when an adult, and they have different motives and morals.
+Dicky Collins Black Bat is also an Attorney and his main villain is Snate (who is a mobster very similar to Kingpin). Plus they both became blind from having radioactive material being poured into their eyes and got heighten senses from the accident).
Yall sleeping on Planet Hulk
How sad no Hulk storys are on here.
Troof
richard Lai Thank You!!
World War Hulk all day.

The "Darkness Prevails" series was pretty good.
Darkness Prevails No
Why are you everywhere.
I'm sorry, but there doesn't seem to be a Darkness Prevails storyline in Marvel anywhere.
I love you darkness!
Douglas Snyder its a joke
I'm so very glad Kraven's Last Hunt made the list!! I've been hoping for a film adaptation for a long time.
Next Tom Holland trilogy, one can hope.
-Watches some or all of list.
-Sees choices I don't agree with, and that choices I think should be there are absent.
-Writes comment about how watchmojo doesn't know comics or what they're talking about.
-Argues with anyone who responds to my comment with anything short of unconditional validation of my viewpoint.
So which ones do you agree/not agree with then? Well, get on with it lad!
People can have their opinions
1: Infinity Guantlet
2: Secret Wars
3: Civil War
4: Dark Pheonix Saga
5: Secret Invasion
6: Days of Future Past
7: Kraven's Last Hint
8: Annihilation
9: Planet Hulk
10: House of M
HM: Old Man Logan, Infinity Watch, Marvel Zombies, Born Again
Finally God Loves, Man kills made a list. This Graphic novel made me an X-men fan. Although I'm still upset how they screwed it up in X2.
Hearing all this praise about the "Born Again" arc makes me all the more excited for Daredevil season 3.
It was awesome!
Arguably the best thing frank miller ever made, and arguably the greatest graphic novel ever made. Hell one of the best novels I've ever read period.
A great read and an easy, fairly fast read since it only consists of 6 issues. Hard to call it a novel but i would agree that it is debatedly the best ever story arc.
Most of this list is shit tho
I will also say, i liked the daredevil show but the born again story line blows it away. Daredevil gets beat to within an inch of his life WAYYY to much in season 3, they took it a little overboard. Literally every single episode. He was either getting beat to death or recovering from being beat to death. Season 3 way overrated.
D'Onofrio also way overrated as kingpin
Great video watchmojo :]
Who else is surprised that House of M isn't here?
NOT ME house of M wasn't that great. good....not great
House of M was not received that well, why the hell should it be featured? A popular comic doesn't equate to a good comic.
I was reading it again recently and by issue 2 I was thinking it was boring but once I finished it I thought that it's quite an interesting psychological story
Bailey-Michael Gladden one of my all time favorites
Same
My favourite story was Xcutioner's Song. It ran through every mutant title and was remarkably well coordinated bearing in mind how many characters were involved.
Great to see Original Sin in the list :) I loved that story
Fatal Attractions, Executioner's Song, and Age of Apocalypse were three of my favorites.
Age of Apocalypse was a major oversight here. Love your videos though
My all time favorite story has to be Fatal Attractions. The ramifications of The Legacy Virus ripped the "X-Teams" apart and this was awesome..and of course there is the whole Wolverine having his Adamantium ripped out of him by Magneto and all..
Ultimate Spider-Man 1 was the first Marvel Comic i've ever read, i loved the artwork, the story and the creativity so i immediately fell in love. I've read it over and over again, until i found out what Marvel is and where to buy more comics like this. Still a big fan to this day! I also love DC.
WHOA! Y'all actually put BORN AGAIN as #1, couldn't be more correct in my humble opinion! Great job!
Top 10 Greatest Watchmojo Top 10
Dr. Dormammu its about time....they ARE running out of ideas at this point 😏
They already done that
Number one has be the soups
None
House of M, arguably one of the biggest events that had such strong changes to the timeline and shaped so so so many future stories
The artwork of born again was so cinematic and superb. Mazzucheli and Miller's finest work till date.
Matt fraction's run on Hawkeye was amazing. Persomally i think it should have been on this list but it wasnt a huge universal event so i can see why
MARVELS?
Original Secret Wars?
House of M?
Superior Iron-Man?
Secret Invasion?
Books of Doom?
Civil War?
Age of Ultron?
heh superior iron man and age of ultron. no. but stil if you like them i respect it
Nope. None of those are top ten.
Original Secret Wars? It was huge, but it didn't really do anything except create Venom. House of M should have been there.
LoL no (although I never read Books of Doom)...Marvels is great tho.
Wow, that is... A terrible list
The winter soldier was a masterpiece cause it followed the comic book, I hope marvel learns from that
The original Ultimate Spider-Man run, from the first issue to the Death of Green Goblin is probably my favourite comic book series ever. It's honestly amazing and even made a version of The Clone Saga bearable and interesting
I was just talking about born Again on a Daredevil Twitter fan account. #231 was one of my first Daredevil books 25 years ago & i finally completed & read them this Summer. Also born Again won the graphic novels list.
Apocalypse Solution was pretty amazing. The arc questions morality
Secret Empire???
Civil War???
House of M???
Age of Ultron???
World War Hulk???
Children's Crusade??? (It isn't the best story but it's good)
T man those stories are terrible I mean compared to DDs man stories and wolverines and even fucking Spider-Mans those are just yuck
the best of the best I like the idea of secret empire and house of m is one of my favorite stories
Secret empire was awful.
the best of the best civil war, house of m, world War hulk are great marvel comics
Where's Secret Invasion, Infinity, Siege and more?
Born Again is my favorite. The opening sequence where you see the fate of Karen Page was great! The gunfight in lockup, and the introduction of Nuke , the U.S. Army Super killer!
The ending storyline to Hickman's FF run was a masterpiece. also basically all major X-men storylines from house of M to AVX.
Gland you put 'Winter Soldier' on the list, as Brubaker's run on that title was the modern day equivalent to Claremont's run on X-Men.
Old man logan is fucking awesome
Abhinav Patle Uh, no it was dumb. Mysterios plan has one huge flaw no "fan" seems to mention. And if you're a Wolverine fan, I shouldnt have to.
Old Man Logan, the comic arc and the movie are utter trash
Abhinav Patle I enjoyed old man Logan, but he couldn't kill all the X-men, some maybe but not the stronger ones.
mark mcghee jeez dude, chill out, they're just comics. Is he not allowed to like it?
nerd rage!!!!! xD
What about
Secret Wars
X-Men X-coutioner's song
X-Men Inferno
Spider-Man Maximum Carnage
All garbage
@@nunyabizwacks6711 Hell nah fam they were good well idk about X-men X-coutioner song
I hear there was this storyline called,"The Asgardian Wars" that you might want to think about adding to future top 10 storylines. I really REAAALLLLLY liked that one. Also, The Hulk would like for you to take a look at some of his past accomplishments in the lines of great literature. The big guy has done a lot over the years and I think it would be good to give him some love.
You are the man
My top 10 favorite Marvel comic book stories
1. X- Men The Dark Phoenix Saga
2. Spider-Man The Death Of The Stacys
3. Captain America The Winter Soldier
4. Daredevil Born Again
5. Punisher Circle Of Blood
6. X-Men Days Of Future Past
8. X-Men God Loves & Man Kills
9. Iron Man Demon In The Bottle
10. Spider-Man Kraven's Last Hunt
For once, Watch Mojo got their number 1 right when it came to comics.
I'm so glad days of future past made the list! It's honestly my favorite issues ever. I also love the dark phoenix saga and old man logan. I generally just love X-men all together lol.
Dude is that really your name? This was the narrators name in the book the catcher in the rye
The Daredevil runs were always the best written. I remember reading the omnibus of Frank Miller's run on DD, some of his best work.
The Death of Gwen Stacy
No, "Hatchet-man" story arc from Marvel's Moon Knight 1979 (Countdown to Dark)? Wow WatchMojo... way to miss a story that both put Doug Moench on the map and won him an award for best story arc in 1979. It also gave both Doug Moench and Bill Sienkiewicz praise for being the "PRIME" example of how to properly write and illustrate a comic as a team.
RamsTheNameCom no one cares
Moench was well known before that. You should read Master of Kung Fu. The issues where he works with Paul Gulacy are fantastic
Also secret wars was a very good marvel comic so that shoulda been on the list or at least in an honourable mention. But the list was pretty good and it’s good too see that I read some of the comics on this list (kravens last hunt, days of future past, infinity gauntlet, etc.)
Born Again is my fave! Great choice.
Surprised Civil War wasn't on here.... 😕
Antoriccioh 3:16 Eh?
Jim B. I don't know, maybe because it's terrible?
Civil War was an absolute mess.
I don't read comic books, so I'm only basing my statement on how well known the story arc is. Idk shit about its quality. Lol
6:19 is from civil war , there you have it .
your vidsare so good
Pigammer45 plz subscribe to me
ok
subscribe to me too
Well...some of them are
Cap's storylines are great. I love the art in Ed brubakers comics. As well as the plot
Name pf the song ? Nice video
10. I've actually never read it, but I hear it's amazing
9. It's cool, but i don't really rank it this high
8. An amazing take on racism. Really good writing
7. This is super awesome. A great storyline
6. This storyline is good. But I think it sucks that it is only 2 issues
5. This is pretty good. I binged these comics
4. This one is great too. I loved the hellfire club. Especially that wolverine panel in the sewers.
3. This one could be the best. Probably a better insanity story than the killing joke
2. I loved this too. Blind hawkeye and wolverine killing the hulk
1. Never read this either, but have heard great things
I highly recommend reading Daredevil: Born Again. Yes, there's catholism meanings innit but... think of something that can destroy you mentally where to the point you just want to end your life, or you fear of losing someone close to you... It's just really motivating in a powerful way to get back up...
+DJ Glustick Daredevil is awesome, my favorite superhero.
Spider-man the night Gwen Stacy died, Planet Hulk and Doctor Strange the Oath should be on the list.
Pretty good list Especially that "God Loves, Man Kills" is in it! It's a very underapriciated gem!
Here are also some great Marvel-stories:
Wolverine: Enemy of the State & Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (one of my favourite Wolverine-stories)
Civil War
House of M
Planet/World War Hulk
Age of Apocalypse
Marvels
The Death of Captain Marvel
The Night Gwen Stacy Died
Secret Wars (the first one)
Welcome Back, Frank.
When people say DC is batman,Batman batman
Here you'll see
X men
X men
X men
That's because this is a stupid list.
Because X-men are awesome, and arguebly one of the best superheroes team of comic books (alongside Watchmen of course)
@@dudelebowski9746 no, it's because X-Men have amazing stories
@@Chief_Bill Indeed. Still, this is a stupid list.
I love marvel but x-men are the most overrated characters and stories ever. Too much convoluted bullshit.
WTH happened to world war hulk
Ikr World War Hulk was amazing including the final battle between Sentry and Gladiator Hulk.
Comic boy67 I know!
I preferred Planet Hulk.
Bearing in mind that Alan Moore's "Watchmen" is considered the magnus opus of DC Comics it is surprising that you appear to have overlooked his run on Captain Britain during the 1980s. This is still one of the most underrated comic book story lines ever, brilliantly executed and drawn by Alan Davis. I strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys sophisticated writing.
Hey Mojo, can I suggest a top Marvel Graphic Novels of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and did I mention 90s?
I have X-title bias, but Daredevil had some many great storylines with more adult tone.
The good news is that One More Day and Sins Past were never mentioned on this list.
Deadpoolrockz6 those weren't good stories they were shit stories and omd should be retconed out existence
DeShaun Hayes reason why I said it was a good thing they weren't even mentioned on this list
Deadpoolrockz6 my apologies then I just hate those story lines with a passion
DeShaun Hayes we all do. 1 threw out a whole lot of good character development out the window and the other ruined a good character for fans.
Uggh I am a DC fan and only heard of the stories but they make me cringe from what I have heard. They need to take all copies of the monstrosities and shred them, cremate them, then put the ashes in a vault to the bottom of the ocean.
Punisher (Born) is still one of my favorites of all time.
Please do TOP TEN CARTOON MAYORS
Disagree. The Phoenix Saga is by far the greatest Marvel story ever told.
Yes I couldn’t agree more, which is why X3’s butchering of it is and always will be the worst comic book movie of all time
In my top 20 marvel comics, I have it as my 11th. Daredevil Born Again is the best marvel storyline for me.
I knew born again was going to be number 1
Which was definitely a well deserved spot
I thought the The Night Gwen Stacy Died would have been Number 1, considering it ended the Silver Age of Comics
Born again is basically marvel's dark knight returns that should make frank miller the greatest comic book writer ever he did write 2 of the best stories ever
james caylor he also wrote some of the worst
Was really happy it was!
Daredevil/punisher seventh circle is good great art work
Which Marvel comic/story is the one where the comic cover shows Iron Man's helmet and Captain America's shield (I think it was broken) and like, eight villain legs and feet standing over them. I think it was a major crossover event, but I can't remember what it was called. Anyone know what it is?
This is list is so bullishit. Where's Civil War, Infinity Gauntlet, Secret invasion, Siege, Infinity, Fear itself, House of M, Avengers vs X-men, Heroic Age, Thor: God Butcherer, Xmen: Messiah complex, Decimation, New X-men, Jonathan Hickman's Avengers and so many more. I like Old man Logan but #2 is way to high to be in a list.
Well... Its a top ten list and you names fourteen comics so...
I thought everyone hated Original Sin.
I didn't really care for the ending, but I liked the story overall.
First couple of issues were okay. It kinda shit the bed at the conclusion in my opinion.
it was anticlimatic. but the issue 0 of the watcher was good (th worst part of the event is that it barely focused on watcher's life or importance). though one of the highlights were Punisher/doctor Strange dynamic. also proved Punisher can have weird storys as long is charcater driven and in a team up
I would give an honorable mention to the Squadron Supreme mini series. It goes deep into concepts like freedom vs. safety, responsibility vs. over-reach, and much more. And it has one of the most nasty fights between heroes ever, at least before everybody started doing nasty fights ...
Don't forget the entire run - remarkably all one giant story - of "Loki" by Gillen; similarly, the entire Remender run on Uncanny X-Force. Ellis' run on Thunderbolts was also awesome, as was the Lanning/Abnett run on Guardians of the Galaxy. Lastly, though it lacks a proper ending, the Strazynski/Coipel Thor run was terrific.
Top Ten RUclips Channels That Are Running Out Of Ideas
Julián Manzano Top 10 Unoriginal Comment's
Demon Bear saga???
Brood saga??
Mutant Massacre??
> 2017
> 15 mln subs

good job mojo!
PunisherMAX? That's probably the best Punisher (with the exceptions of Welcome Back Frank, and Born) story out their and deserves some recognition.
PunisherMAX with Warren pretty much #naileditforever!
The x-men have so many great storylines they need a lot more then just a trilogy In the mcu
I would say a high budget series. They can't wrap or show x-men characters in just 2 hours time span.
MCU is the best thing coming out of DC Rebirth.
DCEU is the best thing coming out of Secret Empire.
Kou D3x wait what 😹😹😹
What?
I don't get it.
on crack
Do a top 10 D.C. storylines
Secret war didn’t even make the list as an honorable mention?!!!? Dear God I wish I had more than two middle fingers to give you guys right now!
many people had already say this before so I'm not gonna say it
Original Sin? The only reason that series was created was to write out the original (white) Nick Fury because Marvel wanted to bring the comics closer to the movies. I would never put this story in the top 10, or for that matter in the top 100.
Actually, all the Marvel comics mess is because they wanted to bring their comics closer to the movies and the modern tendencies, believing it would spike up the comic sales
Secret Wars (the first one)! Sad to see it not here...
Do top 10 sail-backed prehistoric creatures
Looking forward to Dark Phoenix
I think the Inferno saga was hands down one of the best X-Men books ever!, Also Fall of the Mutants and both Secret Wars.
One of the greatest quotes in all of comics (from "Daredevil: Born Again"): Kingpin: "...a Man without Hope is a Man without Fear."
How the actual hell is Original Sin on here?! Every single one of your honorable mentions, particularly Annihilation, beats it out.
HA HA HA ORIGINAL SIN,......REALLY....
You forgot to mention planet hulk and World War hulk
Finally I’m early for once
I really do love The Old Man Logan comic by Mark Millar. Millar is such a legend in the comic book industry, Watchmojo should definitely create an entire list of the best Mark Millar Comics! My Top 3 are Wanted, Nemesis, and Kick-Ass
This is the earliest i came at here.......
too bad we wont be getting some of these stories, since disney only allows kid friendly movies.
Winter Soldier was pretty good
Dark Phoenix Saga is the greatest comic book saga ever imo. It's just that good. Plus it gave us the most badass but underused villain ever; the Dark Phoenix
I would have put "The Infinity Gauntlet" A bit higher. It was really dark, with a story about what happens when absolute power is given to a madman.
Kraven Goofy? How is Kraven goofy?
He had quite goofy outfit (a lion theme jacket and a orange/yellow/brown costume... with shoes that could be mistaken for black ballet shoes). And a bit weak and selfish motivation. (a silver-age classic villain).
He is "relativly" goofy: not so goofy as a Spidey s.age villain, but sure quite goofy, thinking about How serious he was made in Last Hunt.
He had a lion's head for a jacket that fired lasers at people...
I'm currently reading the OG Spider-Man comics and Kraven was indeed goofy
Davis Comic Finds he’s a hunter.
In a city.
Who wears underwear for a costume.
Need more explaining?
Like the old school Vulture villain, plenty of goofy characters to choose from.
y'allget it right X-Men has the best stores this is why x-men is on this list multiple times
Glad Kravens Last Hunt scored well. A dark and powerful story.
Dark Reign is a personaly favourite. But i suppose that is more of an era then a single story. But I loved seeing all the heroes pushed to breaking point.
Dark Phoenix should have been 1
THE STARLIN THANOS/WARLOCK SAGA IS AN AMAZING STORY, I WOULD SAY BEST OF ALL TIME, IT STARTS AT IRON MAN #55 (1970) TO CAPTAIN MARVEL #25- 33, THEN GOES TO STRANGE TALES # 178-181, THEN GOES TO WARLOCK (1970)# 9-12, THEN GOES TO AVENGERS ANNUAL #7 THEN MARVEL TWO IN ONE ANNUAL #2...
It's videos like this (and everything by Kevin Smith) that make me wish I hadn't dropped my interest in comic books in my early twenties. At the time, I was too busy trying to learn how to adult to keep up with my teenage interests. I stopped caring about new music, too. I got back into music when my kids started to show an interest. I eagerly watch the superhero movies, but I have never rekindled my old love of comic books. The story lines have advanced to the point I fear I could never catch up.
Thunderbolts, X-Men: Dark Phoniex, Secret Wars, Civil War, Planet Hulk, House Of M, World War Hulk, Secret Invasion, Siege, The Amazing Spider-Man: Coming Home and The Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows are my favorites.
