you gotta respect captian marvel after that death when thanos personally shows up to walk you into the afterlife as showing respects for your death you know you were a complete badass.
Love those panels from the Civil War graphic novel, showing Cap laying the smackdown on Iron Man, cracking the armour and partially breaking the face plate.
Rumiko Fujikawa should've got at least an honorable mention. She's not only the best love interest Iron Man ever had (besides Doctor Su Yin), but her death was immediately then forgotten by the stupid folks behind Marvel. Which is why it should be mentioned more, because her death affected Tony in the most devastating way.
I actually like Gwen Stacy's death because it incorporates real life logic into it. Superheros that randomly catch people would just slice them in pieces or break their bones because of the sudden impact at such a rapid decent. This death actually followed rules and made sense.
To me looking back reading Marvel Comics the deaths of Wolverine, Captain America, The Wasp, Karen Page, Ultimates Version of Peter Parker, Betty Ross and Gwen Stacy were un expecting to think about simply but characters like these have meant so much as a well known icons and allies as they are it's no wonder Marvel tries all they can to revive the characters making their storylines some of the most interesting of all time with Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Steve Rodgers, Red She-Hulk, different versions of Cap and the unexpected return of Wolverine in the Marvel Legacy one shot helps shows that The Marvel Universe is full of unexpected surprises
Renato Costa the name of the story that Wolverine died was legit the death of wolverine and ultimate Spider-Man was named the death of Spider-Man those weren’t a surprise other than that I agree
Just Some Guy with a Mustache yea but the way it was told and story was huge, like go watch comicexplain or that other dude telling death of wolverine. Better death then the movie.
The only two i can remember right now from when i was a teen, that brought tears to my eyes was when Hulk lost his beloved Jarella in #205, 206, & 207 to see the Hulk reduced to tears at the end just broke my heart. And the other death that decimated me and Conan was the untimely death of the beautiful Belit in Conan #100
the uncanny xmen 303 death of illyana rasputin aka magik was sadder imo that quite a few on the list......agree with the no 1 choice tho....elektra and jean grey could have challenged for no 1 if they both stayed dead perhaps.
I wish #8 wasn't adapted in the MCU because thet way the Skrulls killed her is very unbearable especially since chances of adapting Secret Invasion in the MCU are sky high
I swear. Marvel heroes comes back from death so often the afterlife must have a revolving door. I feel that deaths that result in ressurection shouldnt count.
Cables death in X-men second coming is incredibly sad. Especially if you’ve read messiah complex, cables own series, and messiah wars leading up to it. His relationship with Hope Summers is honestly my favorite in comics.
Captain America's death should've been in the Top 3. He faced his friends, got abused by the public, got disowned, and his last words were about saving the citizens not himself. He should've been on the top of list.
In Gwen Stacy's case, why did they pick that ONE time to use realistic physics to kill somebody? There have literally been thousands, THOUSANDS of times when people were saved by being "caught" by something breaking their fall that would have killed them in real life, or left them paralyzed or brain dead at the least. Such silliness. That's comics for you.
As an Into The Spider-Verse fan, The death of the Peter Parker from Miles' universe wasn't the one that hurt. To this say, I still can't watch the Prowler's death.
Wow. All of these deaths were undone. The only person who has managed to stay dead was Uncle Ben, and he still came back to get killed off in the Ultimate universe.
They glossed over the fact that Gwen stacys death is partly peters fault trying to stop her too quickly in a similar way to uncle bens hence the heartbreak
The Phoenix Force (while believing it was Jean) sacrificed itself, not Jean Grey... Jean was actually in a cocoon the whole time and found by the Avengers...
*Honorable mention:* Half the population of the Universe.
Lol thanos
Thanos: I hope they remember you [Mar-vell]
John Dough LMAO
i screamed
Woe
“Sorry Logan Fans”-2 Seconds Later-“#10,Wolverine”
Lmao
Str8UpLoser yeah it could have been way higher up if it was about movies. That’s what there saying dumbass
Gwen was the saddest death, even in ASM2, when I knew she was gonna die, it was sad...
😢😢😢😢 R.I.P Gwen Stacy
#1 fantastic four killed by fox
goku son I wonder who you got this comment from...

And here is a stolen comment.
goku son bruh had me in tears
goku son you mean all Fantastic 4 movies got killed by Fox
you gotta respect captian marvel after that death when thanos personally shows up to walk you into the afterlife as showing respects for your death you know you were a complete badass.
“We’re not talking about you logan....”
1 second later
“10. Wolverine”😂😂😂
No, he was talking about movie Logan since he said that superhero deaths from the movies wouldn't be mentioned.
@@jadenyahomiee8432 we know 🤦
Love those panels from the Civil War graphic novel, showing Cap laying the smackdown on Iron Man, cracking the armour and partially breaking the face plate.
Really why?
Damn, just describing Mar-Vell's death almost made me tear up

Gilbert the loli Nightray You're sick Ma Nigga.
It is just basic physics. Gwen was killed by inertia not green goblin.
I remember many years ago reading the first and best Marvel Graphic Novel "The Death Of Captain Mar-vell" a wonderful story, thanks for this upload
They live, they die, they live again.
Yada Yada Yada.
Now tony is dead forever
@@starfleetcomm pff, no he's not

Dey all come back doe becuz dey can
Who is steve rodgers
Wolverine should be higher.
Nightmare Reverse agreed, but not in the top 5. I'd go with 6.
Give him alcohol that would help.
That death sucked, shouldn't even be on the list.
Yeah.... dying wouldn't be too bad if you're baked.
You mean lower
Amazing vid
Nice video!
Number 1: Stan Lee, we will miss you
mr. stark, i dont feel so good
Not_Randy, stark isn't here, why don't you go to the hospital?
cool story, bro.
Not_Randy, it was just a joke pal, I knew what you meant.
Peter: Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good. (he falls and hits the ground and says) I’m sorry..(vanishes) 😥😥
True. Spider man is a dweb anyway

This makes my heart bleed....
Zach Ryder so fucking true
Hahahaha XD
Zach Ryder Resurrect them into the MCU! Third times the charm!
4:03 He's speaking to the rhythm of the music xD
DocsDonut lol
Adam Warlock's death during Jim Starlin's run, was tragic and came off like some Greek play.
Deaths in comic books? I like to call them vacations.
Uncle Ben and Gwen are on a long vacation then.
@@UnifiedEntity Karen Page too
"Heartbreaking". Most of these guys are back.
Just Some Guy with a Mustache yea but the way it was told and story was huge, like go watch comicexplain or that other dude telling death of wolverine. Better death then the movie.
you're here too, my god you're like cable, do you have time machine ??
It was sad when it happened
Just Some Guy with a Mustache you were here now first in 2spooky know here
Everywhere I go you are there anime watch mojo what the hell lol
Sorry Logan Fans...
#10 Wolverine 🤣🤣🤣
3:45 Ultimate universe is actually Earth-1610, and the first Spider-Man movie wasn’t out when they launched the Ultimate universe.
I'm shocked thanos came to say goodbye
Ultimate universe is earth 1610, not 1710
Zak. to a. M he also said Spiderman spent years fighting crime he got his powers when he was 15 and died at 16
Marco Hernandez It doesn't matter since Peter is back from the dead.
Exactly
technically yes, but wasn't the ultimate universe erased? that's the reason miles morales exists in the 616 right?
Daniel Chalhoub No the ultimate universe got recreated.
Cap's death was the most heartbreaking
1. Yesterday's bug I accidentally squished 😢
Roebuck F. Dewitt YOU MONSTER!
fake spotted
This isn’t a Top 10 happiest deaths
It's not in a comic
YES. Mar-Vell getting love! Love this list I would add more though.
Sad List, if Mojo makes a top 10 DC list I'm gonna need more tissues.
98th to watch! First time I am so early.
Mr stark I don't feel so good...

Recently, Jane Foster's death as Thor is worth mentioning...
Omg I love you guys
Cudos to making Gwen Stacy number one, it's a death that carries with personal implications and even spawned its trope "I let Gwen Stacy die".
Best video
Good scope✌
Harry Osborns death in the spectacular Spider-Man issue 300 was pretty sad.
Nice video. You missed Ancient one in doctor strange movie
I wish #8 wasn't adapted in the MCU because thet way the Skrulls killed her is very unbearable especially since chances of adapting Secret Invasion in the MCU are sky high
You guys should make a top 20 of Unnecessary deaths
CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE DO TOP 10 PRINCE SONGS?!
Ultimate Peter Parker death still hurts till this day and it breaks my heart :(
I have never clicked on a video so fast before.
I swear. Marvel heroes comes back from death so often the afterlife must have a revolving door.

I was going to flip out if Jane Foster was on this list because it was both recent and by cancer.
#1: Stan lee
I read the ultimate comic before and the death Spiderman actually made me a little bit teary because I am a big fan of spider man
Most of them got revived...
Spider-Mans death made me cry for a day straight hes like the best hero in the marvel universe and has like the best story
#Ultimate Spiderman's death 💔
Wonder WhyZ so true
"True'
He's alive though
That Robot Voice
It was never confirmed it he was a clone or not. Plus the plot has never been resolved.
He's not dead. He's trapped in one of the Infinity stones.
Elektra... really 🙄
The one that hurt me the most is when wolverine died...He's my favorite superhero and I couldn't believe they killed him...
In Gwen Stacy's case, why did they pick that ONE time to use realistic physics to kill somebody? My #1 is ultimate spiderman because how well its written and how sad it was
Man, I just can't believe Human Torch wasn't on this list
The ultimate universe is 1610 not 1710
Peter: *dies in Ultimate Universe*
Writers: Lmao i'm bringing you back to life
Iron man is heartbreaking not Wolverine
I love u guys
One thing. Ultimate Spider-Man came out the same year as the X-Men movie: 2000, 2 years before Raimi's first Spider-Man film.
Is this Adrian from RabonaTV?
As an Into The Spider-Verse fan, The death of the Peter Parker from Miles' universe wasn't the one that hurt. To this say, I still can't watch the Prowler's death.
Ultimate Spider-Man shouldve been number 1
Agreed
Shayan Ahmed same thing I said.
I already knew Gwen and ultimate spiderman would be on this list
The death of Susan Storm's baby in "A small loss" was a tearjerker
Sue's baby didn't actually die, and is Valeria...
They keep coming back because they're big storylines of BT's big characters they keep coming back Comics never die
Looper and Watchmojo just can't stop making videos related to marvel ever since infinity war trailer has been out. 😂
Ultimate Spider-Man is the only one that’s made me cry, it’s what got me into comics
The ultimate universe is actually earth 1610
Iliyana Rasputin in uncanny xmen 303 and Aunt May amazing spider man 400
tOpTeNaNiMeDeAtHs
Wow. All of these deaths were undone. The only person who has managed to stay dead was Uncle Ben, and he still came back to get killed off in the Ultimate universe.
Hey watchmojo remember me. I am sorry almost a dead channel. Any advice?
Oh come on! Gertrude Yorkes wasn't even an honorable mention? I'm still shook from it
When going over the death of ultimate Spiderman you said it was universe 1710. It's actually 1610, with the main universe being 616
"You did good kid."
- Ben Parker.
We love you Stan Lee. Stan the man! RiP
Most heartbreaking DC deaths:
- Jason Todd
- Superman
- Rorschach
- Barry Allen
Just a few.
They glossed over the fact that Gwen stacys death is partly peters fault trying to stop her too quickly in a similar way to uncle bens hence the heartbreak
I cringed every time her referred to a love interest or girlfriend as "squeeze"
Can you DC comics and include Barrys mom? No matter how or when I alway ccry when I can see that. Ohhh Or Laural lance
How do you make a top 10 in 6 mins
Isint one of spider man's death was caused by a meteor .Trying to stop it
I cry evertime at the dark Phoenix saga
The Phoenix Force (while believing it was Jean) sacrificed itself, not Jean Grey... Jean was actually in a cocoon the whole time and found by the Avengers...
Where the heck is ultimate Spider-Man the death of Spider-Man
Ultimate Spider-man's death broke me
Recent example: jane foster, who died from cancer whilst protecting thor odinson from mangog
The Ultimate Spiderman's death was really sad
what about caiera in planet hulk or bruce banner in the end of hulk
u said the Ultimate Universe is #1710. It's #1610.
Is this after they return after they fade away
