It’s expensive because of its active heat monitoring. It checks and adjusts output.
That definitely feels right. I’ve used other MagSafe battery packs and they all get hot
@@CREATIVEreviews because it’s an Apple device it’s allowed to access the phones internal info/diagnostics etc and adjusts its charge flow or may even stop. Depends on internal temp. One of the benefits of being made in-house. You get “insider info/special access” pass.
Wish they took as much care of battery health with new iOS versions before release.
But then that would slow down new phone purchases, because most would rather buy/upgrade than replace a battery, given the phone addiction most people have. God forbid they have no phone for a day. Or few hours even

This is a great battery pack. I tend to use it when I think I may be out all day or not close to an outlet. It is definitely made to monitor and assist the main battery. I slapped it on my iPhone 14 Pro Max this morning at around 7am, and it kept the iPhone at 100 percent until about 3pm, then it died, with my iPhone then using it's own battery. You can definitely get a day and a half to almost two days using this in conjunction with an iPhone Pro Max model. I love this thing. Easily one of the best accessories I have purchased!

Does apple show its battery health as well?? Do the batteries degrade same as the iphone ones say 10% health drop in an year or so??

Yes you can use this as a MagSafe charger for the iPhone after the internal battery degrades
I am not getting the option in low power mode in notification centre to toggle Charge past 90 to on/off. By default its charging more than 90 on my iphone 12!
You have to enable the low power mode to show up in the control center in settings. Then long press on the low power mode button to get the option
i just got one today and i’m not understanding how to use it , do i leave it on my phone 24/7 ? or do i charge it and put it on my phone when it’s dying ?

No, you don’t put it on your phone unless you want to charge it
Honestly you could do either. I usually just slap it on at work when my phone goes down to about 30%, then I don’t have to worry about it dying.
It’s expensive because it won’t catch your house on fire while you sleep 😂

My iphone 13 doesn't read the battery pack at settings menu and it's show 0% of battery life in the battery widget, how can I fix that problem?😢
Are you running a beta iOS? Is it actually charging the phone or is the battery really dead?
@@CREATIVEreviews I don't use beta, The battery has 100% charge (green indicator active) I have also read this same problem in various forums but none of them provide a solution to the problem. The battery is recognized on the iPhone but without allowing charging.

I have a 14 pro max that I use daily and it’s still at 100% battery health a year later
