Warak dawali, warak 3inab, dolmas, yalanji. The dish that has tons of names because it's just THAT good!
These are like popcorn to me. I literally can't stop eating them. When I'm putting the leftovers away, I eat 5-10 more. Midnight snack? Another 5-10. Full and want to get a glass of water? Another 5-10. It's impossible to stop.

Always wondered if a vegetarian version was possible for this dish! Would love to try this.. We don’t get Grape Leaves locally though, what can we replace it with?
Go to your local Middle Eastern market (or order online). They come in jars (my favorite brand is Alafia), you'll just have to rinse and drain them well and boil them a little extra than you would for fresh leaves. The directions are all written out on the recipe on my site thebitewithjackie.com. Let me know if this helps!
You can replace the grape leaves with cabbage leaves. It will not taste the same, but cabbage rolls are really good.

dolma turkish spread through ottman with many other sweets and pastry
Today were making leaves wrapped in leaves seasoned with crushed leaves wrapped an even bigger leaf
