Excellent Video. Divided into logical segments, making it easy to follow through the life of the grape leaf. Excellent narration. I will be using wild grape leaves in the Spring. Altho late summer now, I will be lacto-fermenting MANY leaves for use throughout the winter. Yum!

Very interesting, thankyou. I experienced this food in Greece in the early 90s. A food very health supportive food. The Mediterranean diet being top of diet choices.🌞

I was wondering if grape leaves would be safe for alcohol infusions for cocktails? So far most information seems to mention infusions for tea, but no mention of steeping in alcohol. Any thoughts?

Watch out for SEEDLESS GRAPES...that produce their GRAPE LEAVES...they are hard like leather....
Only the leaves coming from GRAPES with SEEDS are tender enough to eat.

I have a Concorde vine in my garden. There's a nice sour taste to the leaf but a hard chew. I fear cooking/pickling will destroy some of the nutrition.
My area, though, has prolific wild vines growing.
