coming from the owner of a 6.1 V8 with long tubes and pipes from the headers back.... if you can't appreciate the sound of a 4 cylinder turbo, then it's just not for YOU. I've owned 2 V8 Magnums and 3 Veloster turbos, technically 2, and 1 N. No videos do this car justice on it's driving experience. Same thing for when you look up exhaust videos for your v8s, you know when you finally find one you like, get it installed, there's just 'no video to do it justice'. Same goes to these cars. They may not be for you, but they're definitely a fun driving experience.

@@tyhyhh meh, i would not say most, n/a I4's rarely sound good in comparison to other displacements, ...tbh, even 3 cylinders tend to sound more aggressive.....i think that the forced induction based 4 cylinders tend to have more of a bumble bee sound effect which is good for what it is...almost sounds like a straight pipe RS Maro, but of course, the monotone of a v6 is of course going to be much deeper...A standard n/a 4 banger is going to sound like a straight up weed eater tho🤣.. will admit, the GTI's and the Hyundai N have some of the best sounding turbo 4 bangers in the game so far...wont get a a better sound than this unless you go UEL headers..

The Germans overly restrict their stock exhausts tho really need aftermarket to liven them up, compared to the 500/N/RS. I will say I got a new golf R and it comes stock without a res and valves open bypass rear muffler so it sounds nice stock.
@@Exluto mk7 and normal gti/gli boys that they're actually fast but that's only with a decent tune since you'll find plenty of gli/gti's with stage 2 tunes still loosing to everything, and of course, but R's are natural beasts..the R is essentially a beast from factory and stock for stock, they're in competition with high end v6's like 370z's, g37's, and gen coupes while an fbo, and tuned R will pretty much eat anything alive...the way i see it, if you really want a quick GTI that's nasty stock for stock, the R is the only choice...test drove one a while back, and it was all in every aspect just as fast as a mustang gt or camaro ss from 0 to 80 with a decent launch but of course, you'd need a tune to keep up with them top end but still amazing power from a 2.0t nonetheless...normal GTI's basically run with turbo civics and v6 camry's..kind of wish i had of went with the 18k R over my 9k mk6 GLI when i bought mines 2 years ago but since then, my mk6 has been traded in..
Talk to your dealer, sometimes more dealers are more leaniant than others but you should be good with most stuff, the issue is the dealer has to prove that a aftermarket part caused a failure if you have problems down the lone
The warranty on the Veloster is fairly flexible. You can mod the car to your hearts content but if anything goes wrong the dealer would have to prove that your mods are the cause. I don't plan to tune until my warranty is close to being up for this reason but it's good to know they won't kick you out the dealership at the sight of a JB4
Owned a GTI, and it does not sound this good, just a bit close to it, but not nearly as loud or present, not sure what GTI you talking about, but definitely not a Golf and definitely not stock.
This car is far from quiet. Sounds like I'm letting off grenades and fireworks every time I pass through a tunnel. Getting much louder than factory settings is just obnoxious

@@Levi-dz7zx Nah. Tail of the dragon driving and backroad twisties wouldn't like that. The factory turbo spools up damn quick and putting it in map 3 with a JB4 it's making close to 300whp/360wtq. Honestly depending on the road it is best to put those things in a stock tune

Shoulda taken the muffler off and put a larger resonator. Would've kept that tone- been louder and wouldn't drone.
