I have the same vehicle but in black, I’ve done the SXTH element high flow catted down pipe and AFE mid pipe with no resonators back to the stock muffler and it’s insanely loud (love it). If you guys ever decide to make a down pipe the results are incredible, from third gear on you’ll notice a much harder pull to redline and since the factory catted down pipe is prone to coming apart it’s definitely a step in the right direction if you’re gonna get any major mods (tune, water meth)etc. Great job fellas, if I’m ever in Nashville I’ll drop in and say hey but in the meantime keep the vids coming!
I love the quads. But what did you mean when you said at 12:37 "we flipped the Borla around" left to right side? or where the pipe meets muffler and tips? Cause there was less pops then when it took off when it was open valve? But i love the setup
You’ll probably hate it if you go full straight pipe due to the heavy drone it would have, find my comment at the top because it explains my exhaust mods so far and even with the stock muffler, it’s so loud it scares the shit out of people when it pops and backfires, literally sounds like gunfire😂😂
@@jayjokrr2971 I do actually, I have a clip of a4-5k rev and then a pull to 4th gear on the high octane tune, if you have a way for me to send them I’ll be more than happy to but I don’t have a RUclips page yet.
So I've got a forester and it takes all of 5 minutes to remove the muffler entirely. If I wanted a muffler delete that retained a oem style flange like the muffler so I could swap as I please would that be feasible?
I live in MA, USA and the yearly vehicle inspections are brutal. What you described is what I do for both myself and my girlfriends car. You would have to find the exact flange that comes on the muffler and draw a diagram of what you would like done and spell it out very plainly. No exhaust shop wanted to do it for me. No performance shop that understood what I was saying wanted to take on a project so small. I bought the $120 Chicago Electric Flux core welder from Harbor freight and did it myself. Went to the junkyard, sawed the flange off a muffler in the yard, paid the gentleman at the counter $2 for it, and welded it do a piece of straight pipe, nicks on for $8. Bought the donut gasket off of Amazon for $5. Did the whole thing for less than $150 including lunch. It’s a process but I believe in you. Now I’ve done that for over a dozen cars.
@@mikehorb9485 Thanks for the input, I appreciate the help and advice. I have considered buying a ebay take off muffler from a totalled part out car, just to chop the flange. Car is still to new to find at my local pull a part yet sadly. Although I haven't stopped looking.

@iNegroTv bro the are super fun around the track and are fairly quick for what it is

Nice work! 😎🔨👊🏻
Sounds okay. Looked better with the single tip on each side.
Fully agree
Got to say that's one of the best videos I've seen. Thank you and thank the Kona driver...
Glad you liked it!
I’m getting this same setup done right now. I love how she sounds idling.
Love the pops and bangs from the kona n 🔥
My son has one. 2023 red
Smokes the tires in the 1st 3 gears in the N-mode
He loves it
That car looks so fun I love it. Remind me the early 90s. 💪🏽
Wow, what a amazing setup. I love it! I love the pops and burbles too.
Thank you! Cheers!

Did the catted down pipe remove your cat?
No, it’s a high flow cat.
You got to love the "barbell" in the exhaust lol love this guy 😂😂
It's "barble" old man.
@howieewalt1322 that's the way he was saying it bro that's why it's funny.. and fyi it burble young man
Very nice work, EA team. Love it.
Sounds great at idle with it open.
wow amazing setup, nice tips
Glad you liked it!
wow sounds so fucking good. hands down a beautiful car and
even better exhaust sound
What did you use to cut the driver side tail pipe, a butted knife?
1 Atak and the other straight pipe? Idk lol. But hey to each their own. Everyone is different.
I feel like it needs larger black tips but that’s only my opinion.
fucking love this thing
should delete the resonator too and go back to single tips
You rarely see these driving around that often.
Really common in europe
Yeah I would have done a better looking round tip. The opening in the bumper is odd

There is your replacement for displacement right.
You cranked the pipe going into the muffler tip..
I did dual resignator delete only and it sounds similar
2 cars in one cup 🙃
I really liked the previous voice at the beginning of the video "exhaust addicts is located at 3560 dickerson pi..."
Think it would be better without the resonator

No

Burbles and pops coming from the engine tuning in n mode, not as much in the muffler.
Valves closed 👎 Valves open 👍
