Yes!!! I've been waiting for someone to do some good videos of shallow mount subs. I got obs chevy and was planning three 12 tw3 but then the hertz and alpine caught my eye.
After your series of reviews on shallow subs I finally made my decision and ordered the REF1200S sub and the Kappa One 6 amp. Should be here any day now and I'll proceed to the slim box build. Thank you for your effort making these videos!

Many people scoff at shallow mount subs, but put them in a well-designed, adequately sized enclosure, many would be surprised. I have 2 of the 10 inch Soundstream Picasso shallow mount subs in a 4th order bandpass enclosure, and I have surprised a whole lot of people with the output.
The Dayton audio shallow subwoofer would be amazing see a review. Also the the Dayton audio reference ho 10 is only 5 inches deep and is not a shallow mount but fits 99% of installs. Maybe throw that in for comparison
i have been studying shallow mount subs forever it feels and this was at the top of my list. However since it was going in passenger foot well , i ended up getting a great deal on a Skar evl 6.5". I put it in a sealed .83 cft enclosure and man did it improve front stage bass . Its the classic rock chest pounder i wanted. Ive got the R3 - 10's for when i really want to lower the dynamite.

I'm going with 2 Audio Dynamics shallow mount 10's to go with the rest of my AD system.
Those subs are badass according to their specs

I have a Punch P3s 10” I feed it 350 RMS. It hits loud in my single cab truck. But none of my neighbors can hear the bass.

Try the Polk MM . It’s not a standard shallow mount, but it’s very shallow. Works great in a shallow box.
