    I love doing Taro's Feldenkrais videos while wearing a Form Science posture set. I find that that combination has helped the most with healing my posture (which has made my breathing so much better!!!)

      you're welcome! better posture is more functional posture. better posture is the one that allows you to move and breathe freely and comfortably, not the one that restricts you.

    Hi Taro, I really enjoyed this one. It feels great. I will definitely add this one to my daily practice. I also appreciate your wise words. Training Feldenkriais is a little like training Tai Chi, in that, every time I think that I know something, I learn something new that completely changes my ideas. Also, I am enjoying the hip challenge videos. I thought that my hips were fine. It turns out that it is all connected and my thinking is not correct.

    I think you’re describing the difference between poise and posture

    • @TaroIwamoto
      @TaroIwamoto  2 месяца назад +3

      what i am describing about posture is perhaps more simular to poise. but posture to me has that sense of quality, ongoing movements

    Feels wonderful but will it help in standing taller and straighter. My posture is terrible, which gives me terrible neck, pain and pain under my shoulders. Long-term, will this help?

      did you notice any changes in your posture, breathing after this lesson when you stood up? i encourage you to sense and feel your body and notice changes before and after the lesson. it's important to learn to connect directly with your body so you can begin to sense your body clearly and notice subtle changes more easily.
