    I have this exact bike, I went up 1 tooth in the rear, put a slip on FMF and that really woke it up. bike is fantastic in the woods now. I rode 2 stroke for over 20 years. this bike is so easy to ride in comparison, after I got used to the engine braking.

    I loved that bike in the woods, it was a beast! The traction was unreal, it was very smooth. Definitely on the heavier feeling side but still playful enough if that makes sense...both the 350 and 300 felt planted and stable yet easy to maneuver. My 2nd ride on the 350 was much better knowing what to expect and using the engine braking to my advantage. If I was buying one of these 2023's, it would be a difficult choice between the 350 and 300.

      the traction out of the corners was incredible. Watching this video and then looking back on the XC, you can see it just grab in the loose stuff. The chassis felt great on all of them. I also suggest to buy both :)

    Where do you find the information for these demo days?

      I honestly don't know if KTM pushes out any info on them. This one comes to my local club every year. I'd suggest getting in touch with your local dealers. They may have some info.

    LOL, you're funny. You were visually the fastest on this bike. You just weren't revving it like the 2Ts so you felt slower but you weren't. Or maybe you felt more in control on the 2Ts therefore felt faster...? (IDK) Also, probably felt heavy because the suspension needs to be softened a bit. Miss you, Jeff 😘

      I rode this third so I knew the track the best and I got massively held up on the 250. I guess I could check the times, but I felt the least comfortable by far. I'd need a few laps on it, but I'm sure I'd adapt since I'm a top tier rider 👌. Get yourself healed up.

      Yeah, saw you being "held up"... Tisk.

      This is right here, thanks boys. Just got me an xc-f350. I really think if you just use the clutch to negate the engine brake you'd be fine, it would just be odd because the bike is silent, so you dont get the audio feedback as much. I am biased towards 4T though, sounds like a lion vs a cat

    Even though the weight on paper isn't any more than the 2ts when I hop off my 350 and hop on my buddy's 250 or 300 they feel like mountain bikes haha

      It's either the weight displacement or the way 2 strokes rev.

    The only complaint I have about the 23/24 350 Xcf's is that engine break everything else is amazing. I love the entire rest of the bike, but that engine break that engine brake sucks balls, especially for cross-country racing learn off the throttle and the bike just stop.

    • @ShiftGearsMoto

      On the 23/24 SX-F models you can tune the engine braking with the CUO. It's actually a really nice feature.

    I like the lugging power of a 4 stroke, but can't seem to find one that suits me (yet) although I am loving my RM250, I miss the nimble light feeling of the 125....decisions decisions....Can't wait to see what you think of the YX125x review, stoke for that one!

    • @ShiftGearsMoto
      @ShiftGearsMoto  Год назад +2

      I like 4 strokes on the track. They're a lot easier and forgiving to ride for a new rider, but I definitely prefer 2 strokes in the woods.
      125 videos are on the list (yz125 and yz125x).

    • @Mikeogill1
      @Mikeogill1 Год назад +1

      I abused the YZ125x, playful bike but honestly harder to ride than anything else there. It really makes you work, and it beats you up quite a bit. It was one of two YZ's I was really set on taking out, I liked it, but not as much as I thought I would. I was disappointed last year when Yamaha decided they weren't bringing trail bikes because I was stoked to ride that, so when they confirmed this year both trail and track bikes I was pumped to finally get on one....although they brought all 2022's

      @@Mikeogill1 damn, not what I was hoping to hear, I want one so bad, but will have to kick some other tires to get a real world feel, good to know bro!

    • @Mikeogill1
      @Mikeogill1 Год назад

      @@soupysocksenduro I agree, I had high expectations and was amped up for that ride....Not that it was bad, just a lot more effort and not as fun as I was expecting. Maybe with more time on it to get adjusted? It is a 125 though so it's gonna be more work to ride the way we're used to riding on 250/300 2strokes and the 4strokes we rode. If I get another chance to rip one it'll definitely be one I'd like to give a 2nd go. Maybe on a loop with more flow it would be better...my loop at the house it would probably be perfect for, faster corners you could really flick it around with ease and carry more speed.
