    Took delivery of my 2024 350 XCF factory edition today. Pretty face but same power plant / ecu as a regular 350 XCF. I’ve got about 45 min on the motor now, still in the break in heat cycle stage, but zero flame out issues. I can lug it in second at low speed, or chop the throttle from high in the rev range and it stays running. Motor is buttery smooth. For reference my 2nd bike is a 2018 300 xcw with an rk-tek head and Lectron carb. It’s a tractor down low. The new 350 is almost as hard to stall as my 300, I was shocked! The white map just meters power out in a linear, manageable way, map two is still soft enough off the bottom to hook up but builds super fast. The 2024 XCFs come with quick shifter enabeled. I left the the quick shifter on the whole time, makes up shifts under load crazy easy. 1st gear has almost the same range as 1st and 2nd on my 300 and 2nd on the 350 has the same range as 2nd and 3rd on my 300. It just revs so high you don’t have to shift. It has exceeded my expectations!

      Awesome to hear! I wonder how different the tuning is on the 24's as I was talking with someone that has a 24 350 SXF and the Vortex didn't make as much of a difference on his bike. He was quite disappointed with the end result. That's really impressive that you'd compare it to your 300 for luggability! I will definitely have to play with QS next time out. Yes, you can hold gears much longer on these 4-strokes. I have probably cut my shifting in half compared to my 250 XC. Good luck with the new bike!

    Good review, bike sounds great. Vortex's have always kinda been a must for them. They're doing EX350's for $6300USD here. Does add up with vortex, rekluse, suspension tho. Awesome bikes when things open up a bit, extra gyro and SCR box can make hard enduro etc tricky.

      Thanks! That’s a good price but if you mainly do hard enduro 2-stroke is my pick. If I know I’m going to be doing tight single track all day I’m taking the 2-stroke! 😂

    I have my doubts about the review with a rekluse. The rekluse can mask a lot.

      If you're talking about the flameout issue I've linked my last enduro video which if you start at 48:45 then skip to 50:38 you'll see what I'm talking about. The Rekluse is installed in this video and the flameouts were still terrible. ruclips.net/video/y-OF-F2uy8U/видео.htmlsi=d_GMKecB90ArJFJF&t=2925

    I have a 23 Xcf too and I am thinking about this ecu.
    What gearing are you using in this video?
    I lowered one tooth in the front and that seemed to help me for the tight stuff.

      Can you find out what it’s mapped for? My bike is mapped to run 93 since that’s what I have local.

    My stock 2018 350 sxf would have stalled/flamed out like 80 times if i lugged it that low at that low of speed in corners, especially blipping the throttle like that. And then would take way too long to start again. Would just getting the tuner help with these problems? Or is it an absolute necessity to have the tuner... tuned... by twisted?

    • @JRideRR
      @JRideRR  6 месяцев назад +1

      I don't know. I never tried an untuned Vortex. To be honest, if you're going to spend $800 on just the Vortex ECU, the extra money is worth its weight in gold to have it professionally tuned. Plus you give him the details of any mods, fuel you run etc. There is an option for $350 to just send him your stock ECU for a retune. Won't give you all the features as the Vortex but another option for much less. Free things you can try: 1. Raise your idle. 2. Remove your backfire screen in your air box.

    Just ordered one for 23 xcf. What map/maps are your favorite so far?

    • @JRideRR
      @JRideRR  8 месяцев назад +1

      I honestly haven’t played with the maps lately. I mainly use his Power Map which is the default white map and then his Map 1 -3 which takes a little power away. I need to find some time to play with some other maps.

    Does traction control and quick shift still work?

    • @JRideRR
      @JRideRR  11 месяцев назад

      Yes, TC works and QS now works on the XCF. For 23 QS was disabled on the XCFs.

    What kinda mucho dinero we looking at for ecu ?

    • @JRideRR
      @JRideRR  11 месяцев назад

      Depends if you want your stock ecu tuned or if you want to go with a new vortex ecu that has multiple maps. The stock ecu is limited in its tuning ability where the vortex he can dive in deep with the tuning. Link to vortex below:

      I've been watching some of your videos and I'm just wondering what direction to go I just picked up a factory Edition 24/350 was riding some real tight single track yesterday stalled it a couple of times rekluse Auto clutch or ECU?

    • @JRideRR
      @JRideRR  10 месяцев назад

      @@Moto619films I guess that depends what you are looking for. If I had to choose just one, I’d pick the ECU for my bike. The bike runs so much cleaner and smoother overall. Have you tried anything to help with the flameouts? Couple of things you could try is raising your idle, install the 2-stroke air filter cage to remove the backfire screen, and possibly adjusting your clutch out a bit to make sure it’s engaging all the way.

    • @Moto619films
      @Moto619films 10 месяцев назад

      I haven't tried anything yet I'm going to go out riding today I will try adjusting the idle do I need to do any other adjustments when adjusting the idle I hear people saying you have to adjust the throttle sensor or whatever when adjusting the idle

    • @JRideRR
      @JRideRR  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@Moto619films It wouldn’t hurt but I’m not sure it’s necessary with the stock ECU. I know with the Vortex they tell you in the instructions to reset TPS with their procedure every time you adjust your idle. Let me know how it goes.
