    The xc gear is the best mod on my bike. Out of 8 guys that I ride with, 6 has the xc. With 10 shoulder surgeries and bad wrist the xc is about longevity. Thanks for the video

      You sold me on it!! After I get the suspension and Vortex ECU, this will be the next item.

    Everyone basically know they come too lean there's your flame 🔥 I had it on my last 2 350excs and a remapped sorted that out and increased power all the way through.

    JRideRR Thanks for this review, it was very helpful. I hear mixed things about guys that did kyb conversion vs the 2024 WP coil spring fork. Some say the kyb conversion is better, others say the new WP coil spring fork is better. Anyone have ACTUAL experience to share... I have all the parts sitting in my faves file ready to pull the trigger.

      Personally I haven’t gotten to try the new WP spring forks but I hear good things. I’m curious to try them back to back myself. Is there a big price difference?

      @@JRideRR If you go with the DIY KYB SSS conversion it can be done for $150 + the cost of your donor fork + new seals & bushings + $150 for new springs. WP pro 6500 drop-in kit retails for $1300 +$150 for springs. NOTE: the 2024 ktm WP xact coil spring forks do NOT have preload like the WP pro 6500 kit has. Obviously, no cost to keep the coil spring forks that come stock on the 2024 XC and XC-F models.

    Which bike is your favourite for racing now? (Think you had a 250XC, this 350XCF or the 2024 Yamaha YZ450FX?)

      If I had to choose right now it would still be the 350.

    Are you still running stock gearing

    • @JRideRR
      @JRideRR  4 месяца назад +1

      No. I went up 3 teeth in the rear so I'm at 14-50 now.

      @@JRideRRHoly cow! Are you saying it had a 3.35 gear ratio stock? My 22 gas gas 350 was running 14/51 stock and I dropped to a 13/51. Absolutely cured all my flame out problems

    • @JRideRR
      @JRideRR  4 месяца назад +1

      @@Dashriprock4 Yeah! Pretty crazy. I don't think I clocked it when it was stock but even with this gearing it will still do over 80mph.

      @@JRideRR I think mine would with the stock gearing but keep in mind I have a 6-speed transmission. I don't think the new generation does.... Or does it?

      @@Dashriprock4 Yes, the XC-F has a 6-speed. Not sure about the SX models.

      @@JRideRR unfortunately you would have to get rid of your Mako because they mount on the handlebar. I run flex bars with the stabilizer. Unbeatable combo for smashing rocks at high speed in Arizona….

      @@MXJEFF94 Ahh ok. I'll have to see if I can try flex bars again. It's been years and they moved a little more than I liked. No rocks down here. Sand whoops and roots mostly.
