    Dirt Bike Magazines tests the all new 2023 KTM 350XCF at Glen Helen Raceway. We actually got our hands on this bike a couple months ago at Red Bud back east but KTM had so many bikes and only one day to test them all. It just wasn't right to give our viewers an opinion on a bike with minimal time to ride it. We have put quite a bit of seat time on this bike since then and finally have a review for you to check out! The 350 is a very popular model in both motocross and off-road disciplines. The KTM features a new frame, new air-box, new sub-frame, new exhaust, new swing-arm, suspension updates, new map suite, new body work and more. Dirt Bike Magazine gives all the details on this bike and what its like to ride. Before you spend your money on a new bike, do the research! We are here to help you! Enjoy.

    XC-Fs are the best trim model KTM makes. I've had several versions; they were all very good.

    How did the new gearbox ratios feel? Heard they had a lower first gear. Can't wait to pick mine up!

    Nice review…
    purchasing my first dirtbike, 23 KTM 350 XCF, I have no experience on dirt bikes, but many years on the track with sport bikes.
    I don’t know why I’ve chosen this bike, I know that I like KTM, and that I am 6’2 220 and thought of 350 would be a good fit. Don’t plan on racing, would like long adventure rides, nothing crazy. 45yrs i’m looking for something easy to ride that I can grow into. If I soften up the suspension somehow, maybe a conversion kit, is this an appropriate bike for a beginner? I found a very clean 350 XCF with 50hrs on it for a good price.
    Your thoughts? Thank you.

      I suggest go Duel Sport, nothing like leaving your garage, driving a few miles on the road, then turning off onto some power lines or woods. Best sport ever. regardless of the brand, just make usre you can register it for the road. I have a Honda 300L and Kawasaki KLX300 Camo, both are a blast but not like this KTM, But Iam 5'-9 and 63 years old.

    You can use a dremel to remove some of the edges of the fingers that hold down the gas cap to make it much easier to remove. Do a small amount at a time so you don't remove so much that it doesn't stay locked down. I removed about 1/8" from each one, surprisingly more than I thought I would need to remove. Soooo much better now though.

    Just bought one, absolutely love it, came from a 2 stroke for the past 20 years, such an easy bike to ride, plenty of low end grunt, fun in the right woods, only had one flameout and that was my fault.

      @@breckboy654 It has plenty of power all across the band, turn on the green power map and it even has more, I think it has 50hp at it's peak. I heard the same stuff from all of the videos, then I rode one, I have no idea what they are talking about. you still need to clutch it at low rpm's coming into a turn, I am talking low rpm, but I have only had 2 flameouts in 4 hours on the bike, all were my fault within the first hour of ride time.

    You need a couple of KTM "haters" on staff, to play "devil's advocate". Your praise fest of the KTM's is off putting. Oh, it has handguards, but 98% of off road riders will put on proper handguards with a metal wrap around piece.

    • @DasChristoff
      @DasChristoff Год назад +6

      Lol real off road riders and racers,not weekend warriors, don’t ride with metal wrap around hand guards. People get their arms caught in wrap around guards when they crash and break their arms.

      260 pounder here and I was torn over the same issue. Bought a new 2021 WR 450f and put a Rekluse on it. After 6 months I decided to buy a 2022 GasGas EX 350f. Bottom line, selling the WR. The 350 still has insane power when you ride in the upper rpms but more manageable and less fatiguing down in the lower rpms. I'm considerably faster on the 350 and can maintain faster speeds for longer.
