- Also known as a Bullador, the Pitbull Lab Mix, is the result of the loyal Pitbull being bred with the loving Labrador Retriever. With one parent being one of the most popular and loved dogs in the country, you’re surely getting a loveable rogue with this hybrid dog.
Read our complete guide to the Bullador here: www.allthingsd...
Coming from two parents who were historically working dogs, they were bred to combine the best features of both parent’s personality: the Pitbull’s loyalty and the Labrador’s loving temperament. When raised well, these dogs can be super friendly and sociable. They can learn to love everyone and everything. From the Pitbull’s reputation as a ‘Nanny dog’, they also make great companions to kids of all ages, when raised with them and when the kids understand their needs, including their need for space.
Best suited to families who have experience of large dogs, they thrive in a busy home, where they can enjoy their daily walks and regular play. Are you thinking of getting one home? Or do you already have this amazing family dog? Let us know in the comments below!

I just lost my pit bull lab mix. He was almost 16. He was the very best dog you could ever possibly want. RIP Pete I will see you again one day.
Hey man I bet you that was a good dog I wish the best for you and him
you definitely will see him again! bless!
Just rescued my boy Topher recently. He has been awesome, loving, friendly, and goofy. Lots of great dogs at the shelters awaiting their forever homes. A rescue dog will love you like no other!
My local shelter posted some pics of a pit lab mix so I went and adopted him immediately. His name is Charles Barkley. He's tge goofiest and sweetest dog ever.
Just dopted a four month old labrabull from the shelter. I am so very happy with her passive attitude toward other dogs and cats
My Toby is the same way. He loves all animals and all people. He'll even try to make friends with aggressive dogs. He doesn't get it and won't take no for an answer. Little goof. I keep him away from dogs like that.
My pit lab gets along with all dogs. Never showed any aggression with other dogs. Just wants to play with other dogs. I only saw aggression once at the dog park when an aggressive dog attacked him. He defended himself. Gets along with all children. Never showed any aggression towards any child. Just wants to play with them.
This comment is making me so happy! I'm bringing a puppy home to a cat and I can't wait for them to be best friends hopefully 😭❤️
I have an almost 2 year old rescue and he is incredibly passive and sweet. I'm not a huge dog person but he is my spirit animal through and through.
I rescued what was called a "Lab mix" from Animal Control 6 weeks ago. He's about 2 years old. Once I got to know him, I was sure he was a Lab/ Pitbull mix, and the DNA test confirmed it. He is the SWEETEST, most affectionate, playful, docile, amiable dog I could imagine. Other dogs LOVE him because he's confident but neither submissive nor dominant. I love this guy!
Any suggestions on socializing them? I just got what I believe is this mix from the shelter a few days ago. He’s very sweet to me but warming slowly to my boyfriend.
@@kstarr1230 My dog just happened to be incredibly sweet and steady. I took him to a Christmas Eve family gathering with MANY people he'd never met before and he was calm and well-behaved. At first, he's more timid with men than with women. Other than that, I have no experience with dog training. My dog Lucky does need some training and just two sessions one-on-one with a GREAT trainer at Petco have really taught me what I need to know. Now it's just practice, practice, practice.
@@maryf1090 thank you! I’ll try a good trainer! He’s a good boy too so I think socializing him is a good idea as well!
We have had our pit/lab mix since August 2020. She had just celebrated her 1st birthday before we got her. She is the perfect dog for us. She is extremely loyal and affectionate. Her first year of life was rough. Her first home as a pup was abusive, her second home was a military family that received overseas orders and would have been required to put her in a 6 month quarantine, her third home was my daughter's family, but their landlord threatened them with eviction if they didn't get rid of her. We are her fourth and FINAL home. She will be with us until she crosses the rainbow bridge and when that time comes, we will be there for her to go peacefully.
Mine just passed away and I’m just trying to watch videos to remember her
Sooo sorry
When u are ready there are so many that need a good home
I waited 10 yrs between dogs because I could not bear to even look at anothet dog after my thor passed.. it was too long
it hurts, they will l be in heaven waiting for us!
Sorry for your loss, I lost my German Shepherd around the same time, but now I have this type. Remember there's always room for one more. We love you ❤️
Lol
Oh my gosh I don’t know what I’d do without my pitlab. I’m so sorry!
I just got one its a puppy and its amazes me how fast they learn and catch on to things
I have had a lot of dogs over the years, my lab pit Jax was effortless to train. Best dog I ever had
Wait actually? We’re thinking about getting one what else Do you think I should know?
@@jerryjimenez6514 they are very playful i have a black puppy and a full grown one and they both love to play so i should suggest that u spend as much time with them as u can
Exact opposite for my little pup. I’ve been training her for a while and she hasn’t caught on. Luckily, I’m stubborn as fuck and will try until my last breath.
My labrebl is so smart
God, I can't believe it....! After ten years that I found him in the garbage - YES! IN THE GARBAGE -, now I know what exactly my dog is...!
He is lovely, healthy and he "raised" three kids, without complaining while going through hell sometimes... Thank you so much....!
It's the first time that I watch another dog EXACTLY like mine....!
They are great dogs.
I adopted my Jax as a 10 wk old pup. He wasnt abused, just living life in over crowed shelter.
I told him ...You are safe now, we are going home. He is the most loving and loyal dog I have ever had.
My fiance and myself just rescued our labrabull Chocolini from the human society, it's day number 2 with her and I have to say at 4yrs old she's definitely the sweetest girl I've ever met and the goofiest, she's one of a kind and I'm great full we got her we love her to bits 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎 can't imagine life without her!
I have a beautiful pitlab, he is a golden lab color. My son found him on the street when he was three months old. He is now 11 years old. He's been a blessing!
Ah. Pitlabs. My favorite dog breed. My dog is easily one of my best friends, and has been since I was 5 years old. She’s been with me through all of the ups and downs, and I don’t know what I would do without her, nor how I would live without her.
I bought my labrabull on a rehoming page on social media. The owner at the time was selling them for $25 and if they werent sold by the next day she was going to take them to a local animal shelter. As soon as I saw that she was considering taking them to the shelter I knew I had to message her to see if she had any available. I then messaged her and she said all dogs were gonna be picked up by some people that were interested that night. I carried on with my day, and later that night she messaged me that someone didnt show up for a male she had so i knew this was my sign. I instantly packed my car with a fuzzy blanket, and a small basket that my puppy can lay in. 2 years later I love my labrabull so so much, he is the most loving and funniest dog ever! people automatically think hes aggressive when we go on walks but behind closed doors he is chasing his tail like crazy, playing with the door stoppers, trying to catch lint floating in the air thinking they are flies or mosquitos and tosses his treat around for a minute or two because he loves his carrots. Im so so happy I came across that post and that the person didnt show up for him because he is my everything.
We have had one almost a yr and she is the best thing to happen to us in a long time. I'm so happy we found each other
I, too, had a pit bull lab mix, and he was the BEST boy. So sweet, loyal and loving! But, he passed away from severe epilepsy- an unusually difficult case, according to our vet. (Who also referred us to a neurologist…. Still, that doctor also found the epilepsy to be uncontrollable.) After several months, I adopted a new a “Bullador” and he also has such a sweet and loyal disposition.
My Loa came to me from hoard in WV. Although she was totally un socialized, and it took a lot of work getting her where she is now she's a great guard dog she has now learned how to be a dog. She is loving, sweet beautiful Velcro 4 year old couch potato and my elderly beagles best friend Highly recommended, early training is a must.
Got King from rescue. Awesome dog! I was a bit cautious not knowing what to expect from the pit breed, but he is loving to the whole family, great with kids, great with other dogs, and still protective of the yard/home parameter.
thats the best, a friendly, sweet affectionate dog who takes well to humans as well as other dogs , but yes holds down the fort!
I have a pitlab, a golden lab color. He is currently 12 years old, great family dog, loyal, affectionate, energetic, etc. His body is a pitbull, his face has the mix feature of both. I get a lot of compliments that he is a handsome or pretty dog.
My Petey boy is 90LBS white fawn short coat brown spots his body looks like a Buffalo super deep chest with a head to match and smaller back hips everybody says he's more human than dog...My girls call him Peanut....
I own a Pitbull lab mix and it is like your best friend . Protect the family. The house n it play full n happy
I just adopted a beautiful Pitbull Lab mix he is three months old and is his name is Beau Malcolm. He has integrated perfectly with his big brother Dallas Malcolm (American Bulldog Mix 8 years ) and his niece Silly Lily (Dachshund 8 months)
Bless everyone’s Dogos 🙏🏼
Have had my boy (a rescue) for a year he has the short pitty coat, 60lbs of muscle, energy and love. A great dog, loves the water, smart as a whip, he just needed a shot with the right people.
I own one. She's the smartest dog I've ever owned!
My pitbull lab mix, Toby, is THE smartest and most stubborn pup! 😂 He is incredibly active, incredibly smart, and he needs lots of attention. He loves absolutely everyone, he loves my cats, and he loves going everywhere with me, whether it be in a walk or a run, to the store, or on a trip. He loves cuddling with me while I work from home too. Toby MUST do absolutely everything with me at all times. He's a gentle pup, and is still quite puppyish even at over a year old. Toby sleeps in bed with me and the kitties at night, and he really enjoys being close to people and getting lots of cuddles and kisses. He is obsessed with food too, so I make sure I'm watching what he eats at all times.
bruh that sounds exactly like my 6 month old pit-lab Kalu!!! so loyal, protective, energetic, affectionate, and cuddly!!! he's my world! ❤️
Our lab/pit is such an amazingly sweet loving puppy. Beautiful brindle and super smart. Hunts sticks and balls in the woods all day! And loves the water! Best dog ever!!
I have a 2 year old black pit lab(that's what I call this breed) and she's really smart.
I just got mines and I love her so much she is so quit and smart
I just today rescued one, he’s so sweet gentle and calm
I have 3 pit/ lab mix dogs they are sister and brothers they are 5 years old. Gunner, Romeo and Dottie. Smart and very loving! Loyal dogs!
Adopted a 3 y/o b&w pitbull lab last year. The definition of a Velcro dog, but loves to play with everything. Non stop energy. Just when I think I wore him out, he drinks some water to power up and he can go for another hour. Some barrier aggression, but terrific on off leash trails
Got a Lab+ unknown breed mix and were almost positive it’s a pit mix! The depiction you gave matches her perfectly!
Just rescued one from the streets of Mexico. Vet said she’s about 2 years old. Amazing how fast they learn, specially for a dog never trained to be in a house, no toys, not knowing how to get in a car etc. She’s a joy and fits very well in my USA pack of rescued dogs, a whippet mix and chihuahua mix. Once the introduction was made she’s best buddies with the chihuahua and is a joy to have.
They are some of the best dogs. I'd pick my lab pit over a gs or even a husky or any purebred dog.
@@Satans.asshol3 I think mixed breeds (mutts) are so much healthier and they keep me wondering what breeds are in them. None of mine are pure breeds and all rescued. My mixed pit has turned up quite a camper, I tent camp a lot and she’s perfect.
@@carmenmartinez2882 the only time any dog of mine/my family's ever really was sick was my dog-in which her previous owners thought she had tummy troubles but she was in pre liver failure. To follow up yes they seem to be so much healthier and in a way more thankful for having a good and comfy home
Samson went 13 and was my baby. Grew up with him from 5th grade these dogs are like humans. That first year is brutal tho they’re just a cute as they are crazy.
Just got a puppy pit/lab mix three weeks ago after putting down our dog of 15 years also a lab/pit mix. These dogs truly are amazing. Absolutely the best family dog. They enjoy taking on a caretaker role if you have young children or small animals. Our dog would go room to room every night before going to sleep and would never let the kids out of his sight if they were outside. When we brought our youngest home from the hospital he slept next to the bassinet . And he would even come wake me up if one of the kids got sick in the middle of the night. They are super intelligent and easy to train. We have a cat, chickens, rabbits, a hamster, a frog, and birds and our dog got along fine with all of them. Our puppy literally tries to make friends with every animal she sees. Even taking her teats and offering them to a neighbor’s cat. They do have a lot of energy but from my experience it‘s way less than some other breeds and although they love spending time with others they also enjoy their down time.
Mine is 5 months old and he pulls a lot when I walk him, tips on how you got your previos dog to behave while walking?
My girl nala is a pity lab retriever mix, is is so sweet and is the best dog i could have ever asked for! They want lots of attention, playing time and cuddles so be sure you can provide them with all there needs♡
I have a 10 week old pup at this time. I'm super excited to see her grow!
Me and my girl adopted what we believe to be a four to six month male his name is nemo ..he's been quite a challenge since he is the master of escape and does not like to be alone ..after having him for 3 months he's starting to show his very human like personality..it's a joy having him around he loves to play run swim in the pool and gets along with most dogs ...I've seen him attack a dog in self defense which I immediately stopped the attack since we don't condone aggression or dog fighting...but he is a friendly dog and a good guard dog when my girl stays alone with him at home....if anyone chooses this breed keep in mind that they demand and require a lot of attention...thanks for all the 411
wow my sister just gave me one and she is 2months old she is so sweet and good with others shes being trained and is doing wonderful i love her to pieces shes my Baby
I’m thinking of adopting a lab mix for my son with autism. I hope she/he is perfect for my Little Monster. 🧩🌈
I am autistic and my pittie lab is AMAZING as a service dog
Anyone else have a pitlab that has seizures?? It breaks my heart everytime. Mine is almost 4 but she is a warrior.
I have a lab American pitbull terrier and staffordshire terrier mix she is crazy energetic and a stubborn pain in the butt but I love her
Yes her name is Blue she and B.Jay is so cute....I'm never bored. Bully and Bullador
I just got my bullador his name is Apollo and he is sooooo smart and eager to please he catches on so fast when training him
My daughter just got a 1yr old! Omg he is so smart!
We just rescued a black pit bull lab mix who is now 6 months old and full of energy.
We just got one today. She is 2 years old and seems to be adjusting to her new home well. She seems to like our mini pin, but dosen't understand the huge size difference and tries to play.
Ive had mine for about 3 months now I love this dog he’s very smart but aggressive
I have a labrabull that's 4 years. Had her since she was a puppy. She is very mild mannered and welcomes almost anyone. She loves attention.
I have pitbulllab for 7 year he so great precious dog
Thanks for this video. Just got a Bullador. Her name is Roxy.
My pitbull lab name is Coal, she is 4 years. Absolutely lovely dog.
I have one it a chocolate brown pitbull lab mix he is 8 months old I got when him was still 3 months he is very nice and beautiful and also protective
I’ve had my bullador for about 4-5 years now, she has a golden coat, she is very friendly; but can be territorial with other dogs; except puppies. she loves babies as well as meeting new people. She is extremely smart and loves to play catch and tug of war. She is very protective of our house as well. The only thing about her is she is not a full bullador, her dad was a dogo Argentino/pit bull mix, and her mother was a pit bull/Labrador mix. They are an amazing breed to have as an inside dog, just train them well or they will open your cabinets or open up your plastic totes.😅
I just received one for free and was just inquiring on more information on the breed. I was told it was a pitbull Labrador mix and it definitely looks the part.
Getting a two year old female tomorrow and have an open yard out in the country.
Any suggestions on boundary training?
I just got one unexpectedly today... 2 months old a cute lil thing
I have a 2 month old black/white pit lab mix girl name laquasia . She’s the sweetest
I just recently got one and I love her to pieces!! I just advice on potty training and general training!
Yes she is really amazing
Where's the clip of one single Bullador you're talking about?
We have 1. He's great!
And he is very intelligent he just learner to open a door on his own
I do own one name dozer and he is the most amazing dog I've ever owned vary friendly all he wants to do is play and play with other dogs
I am hopefully adopting one soon! Are they cuddly dogs? Would she sit with me and watch a movie at night after having an active day?
Our wonderful black labrabull is 9 years-old. We got him at the kennel as an abandoned pup, and he cost us $75 (not $500) for shots and being fixed.
I own a pit/lab mix and she is so sweet but stubborn 🥺❤️ she’s easy to catch on things but things she is the boss so I’m trying to break that habit , any tips ?
You have one of the Bulls I have two one is more Lab one is more Pit. Any breed that has Bull in their name can be stubborn, you have to be willing to out stubborn them, if you have to get off the couch 15 times to correct them until they realize you set the rules do it, eventually they will understand when mom tells them to do something it's a match they will not win and you'll live happily ever after GOOD LUCK....
Side note try to keep the baby talk to a minimum, dogs hear tones of voice and that type of higher pitched speech increases their excitement levels find your firm I mean what I say voice when giving commands and use hand signals at the same time will help you establish the leader roll, eventually you won't have say anything just give them a hand command and they will respond....
Black is so handsome and shiny. He looks like a Lab with a body built for running. However, he has a short coat similar to a pit (believe it or this means at least a daily roll on his back in the grass keeps him clean with no dog smell. He is low maintenance as far as grooming goes but he's high maintenance as far being overly playful with everyone he knows but he barks viciously while showing his muscles when he feels protective So Black is an active, strong, big dog and needs his energy curbed because he could knock you down just playing with you while you both are having a good time. My neighbor's say this playful puppy-like dog would tear someone apart over me if he felt it was warranted and his deep "WOOF WOOF WOOF" while he stands straight showing off his muscles is frightening to people who don't know him. So you can believe what you read that a Lab/Pit mix is not a dog for a first time dog owner. It's important for any dog, but Black only seems to respond to positive reinforcement. When he looks at me with his happy smile and wrinkles there is such a pure and complete love that we share
sweet dogs❤them all!
I have a pitbull in Black lab mix and this video explain him 100% I got him at 2 months he is now 7 months bought him for $250 cash nd wouldn't sell him for 10× that amount
How many kilos does he os
I loved Mine she was loyal and smart never left my side and always rode in my passenger seat one of my buddies tried to mess with me and she knocked him down and put the paws on him it was pretty cool
I have one and he’s my best friend
We have a Pitbull Lab she's going on four. I've been told she looks like a Pitbull mixed with a German Shepherd.
I Love mine
I adopted mine at just under 8 months from the Human Society local to me. She came from another state during the floods. She's quite feisty and will bite hard sometimes when playing. She throws temper tantrums when corrected (e.g. tears her bed up). Outside at night when I walk her into our large fenced back yard, sometimes she'll run and jump/bite at my arms quite aggressively when she wants to go inside. Sometimes that's while she still has to do one or both and hasn't used the bathroom yet and if I keep on at her, she'll eventually do it. Otherwise she would wait all night out of hardheadedness. Her first adopter returned her, was only letting her go out 2-3 times per DAY to use the bathroom and wasn't giving proper attention to get rid of her energy. I do play with our dog quite a lot and she's now 4. Anyone got any tips? Great dog breed, I think mine is just a little confused for some reason.
I have a black lab American bulldog mix. I was told it's a bullador? What's the deal?

I would like to get a pitbull to breed with my lab pitbull mix. I know they would be beautiful dogs
i own one!
wanna tell you my story.
so a few days before Christmas I was sad cause I started to realize I didn't really have many people to give me gifts. I then thought in my head why can't I give my self a gift? So I decided I was going to get myself a dog. The next day I woke up and went to the pound. I did a walk through of the kennel and there was 1 dog that had its back turned away from the viewing side. He was chewing on a toy. The dog shelter employee and I made it to the last row of dogs, and she said do you see 1 you wanna see?? I said DENNIS !! Who was the good boy that was entertaining himself. They said okay and made me sit in the viewing room. they brought dennis in and dennis jumped up on the shelter employee and then ran over to me and jumped up on my lap with his front paws. I looked at the employee and said I WILL TAKE HIM!!! She said "you like how he jumps up on you??" I said YASS!! about a year later I realized this was the reincarnated dog of my childhood that my mom had to give away. I use to go out and cuddle her in the living room where she slept and hold her. She came back for me. I am positive of this. . How i decided to get a dog so randomly. The way I choose dennis in a an instant. It is my baby from the past. She came back for me. She remembered for ever how much I loved her. I love you baby
Abt to tommorow hopefully I get him :)
I have one found it in the street he was like 1 month or something
Question, do they do good with other dogs in house, I had a full pit once amazing dog, her temper with other dogs in house hold was not so good.
I had to give my pit lab mix away because she was not good with our other female dog and tried to attack her :(
@@ashleygandy9980 girl I am so sorry! They seem like great bred, but unfortunately that pit genes flare up seems like it, the apparent "if you have a female pit and want to get another dog don't get another female pit, because apparently they will fight constantly and till one is out."
@@juanitaayala1554 yess it was so hard to let her go but did not want to take any chances, it sucks because the pet store told us that the pit was good with other dogs , that was not the case
@@ashleygandy9980 I think she just wanted to be alpha and your existing dog was like nope not today honey, or idk what else could of triggered her, again I am so sorry!
I have one, got her for free, she is the was the worst and is now the best dog ever :) untill she was 2, got her at 10 weeks, she was a monster, she would not obey anything, she would not go pee before bed like ever, she did not understand boundaries and that roads kill puppies like her, she would not train with me unless there was another dog involved, if i left her alone for even 10 minutes she'd get in the trash and disperse it around the house, she had tantrums constantly and was a real pest. The more i trained with her tho the better she got ans around year 1 she could mind herself neatly but had moments when she chose simply not to, she started to walk into neighbours houses, chase their pets around and even to show teeth sometimes to the neighbours when they told her to get out. Then we landed on the street and she changed overnight, we slept either in car or in abandoned buildings and she was superb at that and loved it, she could chase whatever she wanted, stand guard to me, she started to pay attention way more and never ever went in a thrash can, like she knew where the dangers are and how to avoid them instinctively. She kept to my side and wanted to learn everything to the point she started to bring me the clicker in the morning when i was having coffee like, cmon man, todays lessons shouldve started 15 minutes ago and thanks to a friend who helped me back then really learned alot to the point a local k9 policeman started to help me with teaching, unfortunately tho she did not like defense so we never taught her that but i learned about a year ago why she didnt want to learn, she understood it already, maybe not by commands, but deep down, she knew what to do, its basically just like playing with daddy without worries of hurting him. We have a home now, and she really found herslef here, she liked the city and the attention she got there from everybody but here in the woods, oh so much fluff to chase, just hurt her paw few days ago while chasing fluff and she is a super happy go lucky dog now. Im so blessed i found her cannot believe how lucky i was to get her when i did, i was in a really bad place but she helped me through all of it and im so very gratefull to her for it
We just rescued a dog and the paperwork said lab/boxer mix but the vet said she sees lab/pit. So I’m not sure what ours is lol
I just rescued a pit bull Labrador but I’m having trouble with lots of biting!! Any suggestions I game a 3 year old who’s scared of the biting!! Not sure how to train him not to the right wY
If he is a puppy, he is probably teething. If he is older, he probably hasn't learned not to play bite. There are a lot of great training videos on how to stop puppy biting. Just put that in your search and lota of them will come up.
Make sure you have chew toys at hand to redirect their biting to the toys and not you.
@@SonicaLuda thank you so much I will..?I hadn't toys but he prefers hands, and feet!! But it's just a long process of consistently...love the Lil guy, he's already getting better..I have a 3 year old that's the only reason I really worry . Thank you Soo much for responding to my text
@@SonicaLuda have toys not hadnt
You're doing great! Just keep at it and it'll get better. It just takes time. And absolutely, if I were you I would be concerned too for my little guy. You don't want anyone to get hurt. You are a good parent and pet parent 😊.
If he is a pup
Play with him praise him. If he starts biting your hands, grunt at him and walk away breifly. Do this in an area where he is already confined. After a few moments repeat. You are re enforcing that play time is over if he starts bighting.
I know it sounds stupid, but look at clips of momma dogs correcting pups. Use that tone, dont feel silly growling at pup. Do not grab at his mouth or swat him away.. he will simply think this is part of the game
mauls your kids but omg looks so cute. mutant. what is we put this effort into our fellow humans?
I have two and need to be careful with the breed you'll get one that is more Bull than Lab and any breed with Bull in their name you need understand they can be very stubborn firm but fair and if you have to get off the couch 15 times to correct an unwanted behavior then that is the way it has to be until you out stubborn them but they are smart and as time goes on they understand what you say goes...
