This video is my life. I adopted a pitbull in almost 6 years ago. She’s my best friend and I couldn’t imagine life without her! I have family members (even both of my parents) who refuse to come to my house because I have a “ pitbull”. Though in 6 years she’s done nothing nut be a complete love bug! When I take her out in public I’ve had people cross the street to not walk by her. It’s frustrating and sad! 😢
It is propergated by people who have dog fights to the death. They are loving dogs! But have been given a bad rap! If they have loving owners, they will be loving dogs! It's up to all dog owners to change this perception! It is so wrong! You know your dog better than anyone else! Don't put up with people stereo typing that which you know that is not true! The dogs that bite come from poor owners! Biden's German Shepards have bitten Secret Service, which tells me it is not the breed, but the owners! When you know your dog well, you know how they react to other dogs, cats, squirls, and children. If I am not 100 % sure of what my dog will do in those situations, I wouldn't put him/her in a situation! But a Pittie is just as loving and loyal as any other breed! But with any breed, you must know your dog! ❤
I have this happen to me an nova all the time. It no longer botherz me now it ust to but it just showd how uneducated people are media like Facebook make these dogs out to be horrible when it's the owners who fucked up these poor animals . Major respect to anyone willing to not listen to the haters an follow ther ❤ I'm glad I found nova an blue. They are the best dogs.
I remember visiting the dog shelter and seeing so many pit bulls they were all so sweet and cute I cried watching them there I wish I could adopt them all they deserve loving homes too
😍🐶 It breaks my heart that people judge these dogs so unfairly. I have had people say hateful things about our dogs & if they would have just spent 5 minutes with them, they would have realized how friendly & loving they were. 😍🐶 I have been blessed with six bully breeds in my life & they all taught me so much about loyalty -forgiveness & true unconditional love. They were all really just big goof balls. I wish people could see that Pit Bulls & all bully breeds are just like any other dog. ❤️ God bless all the work & love you put into all dogs, so they can find a family that truly loves them & gives them the life they deserve!!!! God Bless from Georgia 🐾🐶🐾
How wonderful! I love this video! I have a Bandogge (Pit bull x Tibetan Mastiff) and he just turned 3 years old and is the sweetest, crazy funny dog I've ever had the pleasure of knowing or keeping. When we go out, his favorite people are toddlers and elderly women, because he gets "free" treats, in exchange for loves. He will put on his best cornball act for them and they always fall for it. It's hilarious. He is so gentle and quiet with them while they love on him. I always have to drag him away because he would stay that way all day, if I let him. I admire you for advocating for these dogs so much! Thank you for the joy that you bring to both people and dogs! ❤️
😃. The older lady reminded me of Carol in The Walking Dead. She's smart and a survivor. I would totally believe anything she said. I would watch more videos like this.
I would not even speak to someone who spoke about my dog like that completely baseless. Thank goodness I have zero need within myself to have other people's approvals.
I have 2 pit bulls and they are the sweetest things ever. People need to stop saying they are bad dogs . They are the kindest animals once trained properly.
Yours sound like they're raised right, but the thing with pit bulls is when things go wrong, they go really wrong. Once they're attacking it's insanely difficult to get them to stop. If they grab a hold of something like another dog or person you literally have to make the dog go unconscious to get them to let go. You could stab their eyes out and they'd still be trying to attack and kill their target. Their bite force is also much much stronger than most dogs if not the stongest. Their jaws are like a vice grip you can't pull apart when they are biting down on something. All pit bulls should be fixed and the breed should be phased out of society. I'm not in favor of euthanizing current living pit bulls though. You have a lot of mistrained pit bulls because especially in poorer communities the dog is very popular because they're tough and intimidating. Yes they can be real sweet dogs, but the breed is too dangerous to continue.
@@Smilemanicecream We don't want that, but the problem is there is a very very large group of people who shouldn't own a pitbull that has one. We can't trust the general population to own a dog that takes that much responsibility. You might have other dogs who are just as aggressive, but they can't do the damage a pitbull can. It should be just like a gun where you need a permit to own one.
One thing some don't know is that Pit Bull, or Bull breed, type dogs are not the only breeds you can commonly find in shelters. Along with Pit Bulls, Beagles, Dachshunds, Labrador Retrievers, Chihuahuas, Border Collies, and German Shepherds are some breeds that are said to be some of the most common to find in shelters. Something these dogs all have in common is that they are quite popular. It is a common misconception that if a dog is commonly seen in shelters, that means nobody wants that breed or type of dog, but that is not the case. Take Pit Bulls for example. Pretty much everywhere you look, you can see someone with a dog many would consider a Pit Bull. If they were filling up the shelters due to nobody wanting them, wouldn't we not see them in so many homes?
Pit bulls are amazing dogs and mine is such a sweet heart. He is such a baby too, he gets scared when you drop a spoon😂 his name is Cash and he's the best dog❤
My uncle had a Pitbull years ago, that 60 pound dog thought he was a lap dog, would not hesitate to get up in your lap and shower you with love. I miss that dog.
Been rescuing Pitty Babies for 20 yrs now. The most rewarding thing you will ever do. I do rescue and keep, but I do a lot more good Fostering. So I take in pits that have been abandoned, or disposed, or given up on.... I do all medical, train basics, and find them safe loving homes. I just took one in last week. Was supposed to be a rehoming situation, but the more I talked to the owner, the more I just wanted to help. So I am fostering her Pitty Baby Willy until she can find a new place to live. He us such a sweetheart. He is used to playing with kids all day, so when my grandson showed up to visit, Willy has been so excited since he showed up. Just got to be understanding and loving. Willy will get to home to his mommy soon and open a spot for another foster. Hoping to get another Tank or Baybay, or even another Stella or Sarah. Some amazing Pitty Babies
I adopted exactly the same kind of dog only taller. He even has the same two white toes, but on the hind paw 😄 He s loyal and protective dog. I adore him!! My sweet Paco!
Love the short video and absolutely love what you do for vulnerable and beautiful creatures such as dogs. You speak for them and protect them. Thank you. Very inspiring 💕
Not just Pit Bulls, no Dog should be treated that way. That's why it's Important to never judge before you get to know a Dog no matter what Breed and the fact is that Dogs that a genuinely Mean and cause harm is because they have never felt being loved before. Or the Owner isn't treating them right. Dog Abuse is wrong and No One should stand by it. Dogs are a man or lady's best friend. This was a really good we'll put together short film that teach people that this isn't right this isn't fair and it's not how anyone or any dog wants or should be treated. Love this great video keep it up bro
It's sad that people judge these lovely-natured dogs based on biased media reporting. Rocky, thank you for trying to educate people about these lovely dogs. I hope beautiful Buzz finds his forever home. ❤❤❤❤🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾❤❤❤
The thing is pitbulls CAN be dangerous and aggressive, but only if their owners TRAIN them to be aggressive. In reality they are very gentle and lovable dogs.
@@arisberisha186 yep, I've had a pitbull mix for atleat 2-3 years, and she loves every dog she meets, she always let her litter win play fights with her. And whenever she play fights with her friend, she's always gentle too, and she loves affection and cuddles :)
@@arisberisha186 You are so ignorant that it's painful - "Only of their owners TRAIN them to be aggressive". So by your skewed logic, EVERY landshark that attacks and mauls someone to death has been specifically trained and taught to do so, right? I question the IQ of you pit nutters.
how is it biased? facts are facts. even the most loving and well socialized pitbulls have mauled people. sometimes its a baby, sometimes its a rescue employee. it doesnt have much to do with how well you socialize them and train them, there is always a chance they snap and they are one of the few breeds with a stronger jaw that is capable of causing more damage.
@@retiredtidepodeater3339 landshark? Anyways, no, a dog doesn't have to literally be trained to attack people in order to be aggressive, but most aggressive dogs are that way because of neglect or abuse, and pit's were bred to be fighters. But pit's can be sweet dogs if you take care of them and socialise them. Any dog can be trained. It's not like they're wolves or anything. They're domesticated.
It's not the pitbull, is the person who raise and train them. Pitbulls are beautiful dogs, and we should give them an opportunity to blossom and share their love and company with us... ❤❤❤
Oh it’s not the humans we should worry it’s the other animals they attack my dad and mum had one and they did everything to give it the right training and love but guess what the stupid dog still kill two beautiful other dogs I gave them a try and i regret it
@The AngelGamer obviously they didn't do the proper training for a pit bull let me guess they trained it like their other dogs right pitties need sterner training regiments then other breeds because of how humans have been inbreeding them for fighting and I'm also guessing that they got it when it was older and nearly out of its puppy phase so it had already picked up bad habits or was mistreated and they didn't do anything to work through its problems that's the problem with pit bulls is people get them without doing the proper research and work to be able to handle them I adopted a pit bull who was used as a bait dog had 150 stitches across his face and chest shotgun pellets lodged in his side and was dropped off by a lake on 4th of July to die after working with him for a year and a half to let him know he's in a safe place he started opening up and being a dog for 2 years and counting he's been helping train other dogs and their humans on how to handle pitbulls not only that but he has helped me raise my other dog from a puppy and they are inseparable so maybe before you discriminate against them you actually take the time and learn about them and be a responsible dog owner
@The AngelGamer no a real dog owner knows the breed and studies how to handle them with what humans have done to them for entertainment and not one dog has ever bitten me or will bite me because I'm not a incompetent owner or someone who doesn't listen to the dogs owners
I have three pitties and they all love each other it is sometimes hard when people ask you what breed your dog is but I have a very strong connection with one of them and all of them are rescues there names are layla, cooper, and rossco and they are all amazing and talented I love pitties and it does not matter to me what people say I always will love them 💖 💗 💓 ❤
I’ve had a lot of dogs in my life, (hate to say this, but it’s true) but nothing compares to the one I have now, my pit. He is far and away the most sweetest, happiest, cuddliest, funniest, and well behaved/easiest to train dog I’ve ever had. He’s great with children, and understands they are children and switches to super gentle mode, he gives back however much energy you give him. I always was under the impression that pitbulls were just mean dogs, but once I got him I had to do some research because everything he is is completely opposite of what I’ve heard about them. And after looking it up, pitbulls are one of the most obedient dogs in the world, landing on just about every single list out there, and are usually labeled second to golden retrievers in terms of obedience and behavior. So everytime I hear somebody say something negative about them now days, it just makes my blood boil. Don’t listen to people that make judgements without knowing actual facts. Just because a dog is forced into a horrible situation, such as dog fighting, does NOT mean it’s the dogs fault. I sincerely urge people to give pitbulls a shot, and you will not regret it one bit.
I never had a Pitbull but I Love them. They are the sweetest dogs. It’s funny cause if I see a Pitbull I walk towards it and I don’t know but I get strange looks from the owners. 😂 I get close and ask them if I can pet them and they are surprised. It’s sad that they react like that. And It’s heartbreaking how that breed has the bad wrap. Thank you for educating people.
He is so sweet! I'm so glad you are educating people about pitbulls and bully breeds. They are amazing dogs and are treated unfairly. Many people have been attacked and bitten by small breeds like chihuahuas, yorkies or mini poodles but those don't make the news like pitbulls do. 🤷🏽♀️
Really? Chihuahua/yorkie/mini-poodle attacks don't make it in the news? Gee, I wonder why. *Maybe... JUST MAYBE...* This is because when these toy dogs attack, people don't end up brutally murdered, yeah? Meanwhile, pit bulls have been murdering more than 30+ people every single year which is more than the murders committed by all the 160+ dog breeds in the entire world combined. I don't want to call you stupid, but... you really didn't think this through, did you.
@@RyanAl92 In reality any sort of results have no solid ground as many dog breeds are mislabelled as pitbulls on a regular basis even in shelters, and in reality a lot people thing they are bigger, and more muscular than they truly are, in reality true American Pitbulls terriers are a lot smaller and more athletic than people are told to believe, no dog breed including pitbulls are human aggressive, some breeds can be animal aggressive, but even then it's not a guarantee, and can fall down to a bad owner, as a good owner for any breed, is able to train and care for them properly. Any attacks most likely stem from lack of good or any training, socialisation, etc. So, in the future, don't put your faith in results, they have so much wrong with them they aren't even worth considering, as many dogs get mislabelled; the bad care via the owner; The news etc mainly makes stories about breeds that will get them the most views, not necessarily what is mainly attacking people. And also a lot of people don't understand how to act around animals, even common ones like dogs and cats, so it's no surprise many get neglected, abused and no surprise people get attacked, since the "victim," can be the reason they set a dog off.. Their body language, Tone, energy, etc. Some dogs are also protecting themselves, so it's fear based, wouldn't you lash out if you were afraid? and even if these dogs are horribly abused, the still wag their tail and greet people, despite what people have done to them. And even small dogs can be more likely to bite than a lot of bigger breeds, as the world is so most bigger and scarier to them, and maybe people treat them like children or toys, and that just leads to many negative results, because of how a human trained them or lack their of.
I hate this stereotype. I've had a pitbull growing up, and he was the sweetest. I currently have one, and she's the sweetest thing, but everyone is so afraid of her. I can't even walk her without people crossing the street, so they don't have to get close to her. It honestly sucks because many renters have pet restrictions and always say "no pit bulls."
I absolutely hate it when renters restrict dogs of any kind into their apartment or condos, only except if it is a "SPECIALIZED TRAINED" dog (a.k.a the ones you see where it says Service Dog). Even in my apartment, I CANT HAVE PITBULLS.
I had (past tense) a friend who had this opinion. She was super judgmental and thought all pitbulls should be put down while she had never owned or been around one! Meanwhile, her own malamute attacked another dog and her own reaction was 'well I just won't take her to parks anymore so she doesn't attack again!' Some people just shouldn't own dogs.
As some one who owns a bully breed i can confirm they are sweet and loyal (they play a bit more rough than most other dogs but wont attack anything or anyone)
My dog is a labradoodle and he is a bit more aggressive when you first get to know him, but you come to realize he’s actually just TOO friendly and jumpy and excitable. He also has this odd lab thing where they chew on other dogs ears. The moral of the story is, any dog can be aggressive or just seen as aggressive
I love Apbt and work with many but they are prone to animal aggression! They are an amazing breed but need an experienced owner for sure! Their tail is what hurts haha like whips.
@@jolt225 I’m saying that they sound like there 8 because Dogs usally live to around 10-12yrs. So what I’m trying to say is that he (may) have not had the dog from puppy to death.
I just adopted my first dog a few months ago. He is a pittie mix who I rescued from a high kill shelter. I love him so much! He is truly my best friend. He gives the best kisses and cuddles and is such a big lover. He is getting the proper training to work on his behaviors. Unfortunately we have faced so much discrimination, not only from family members, but neighbors too. Therefore, I know I can't ever take him to a dog park, or anywhere else. But I don't care what anyone says. I am so happy I adopted him and he means the world to me. Not only did I save him, but he saved me too.
Yeah, I never had a Pitbulls and never will have one cuz I’m from England but Pitbulls are more cute and enjoyable than they are dangerous Birds are the ones you should watch out for
This always makes me mad my mom rescued pit bulls my whole life my first dog I remember owning was a black and white pit bull name Sadie I loved that dog and she adore me and my baby brother I think once as a kid we had about 5. My old lady now is a bull terrior and every one scared of her but all she wants is pets and cuddles. Worse she'll do is steal all your blankets I love pitties. Grew up with them.
You are so right I’ve had English staffie, Rottweiler, German shepherd and kelpie. The staffie and the Rottweiler were the best most gentle and least aggressive of them all. People can be like sheep easily lead!
THE OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOR THE DOG DISPLAYS! Anyone can train their dog tea cup, chiwawa up to the largest dogs known to attack and be violent and aggressive!
As someone who owns a bully breed (English staffie) I can confirm that they are super sweet and are the opposite to vicious . I love my staffie so much she is literally the best.
My family and I had a pitbull. She was the sweetest thing on earth. Unfortunately she died 3 years ago and her leaving was the saddest moment for us. She loved to cuddle, give kisses, loved tummy rubs. And yes people did get frightened when they saw her. But when they pet her and really got to know her, everyone fell in love with her personality. We obviously miss her to this very day🥺❤️
I just asked my pit bull if he wants his breakfast and he laid his head on my chest and gave me a loving look. I love him so much. He has been around kids from my old apartment and small animals and is very gentle. He even carefully goes around a stumbling toddler so as to not knock them down. In 8 years he has not hurt a soul. Everyone I come across loves him. Mine is a black pit bull …he has white markings and pawsies. I am glad to see videos trying to help these babies get loving homes ❤
We have a Pitbull as a foster dog right now in Germany, and here it's the same... He is the cutest little cuddle dog I ever met, but a lot of people tell me he looks scary and that his breed is dangerous 😢 It's so sad that nobody wants to adopt him, only because of his look 😭
I'd take him, but I'm in Moronigan Michigan USA. Pit BULLS ARE LITERALLY THE BEST AND VERY PROTECTIVE AND LOVING!!! I WISH PIT BULLS COULD SUE THE GOVERNMENT FOR DISCRIMINATION! DOGS ARE ONLY VICIOUS IF THEY ARE TRAINED TO BE JUST LIKE RACISM IS TRAINED NOT NATURAL.... I LOVE PIT BULLS!
@@sadnlonelywithoutmydaughter911 Oh yes, I thought the same 😂 But yesterday a family with a little farm texted me, they want him as a playmate for their German Shepherd girl 😍 I think it's the best for him, because I have to work in the morning and my German Shepherd is allowed in the office (but only one dog..) ☺️
pit bulls are banned in the UK but i have friends in the US who have them and to be honest their the most sweetest dogs you could ever meet. I wasn't a big fan of dogs until i saw my friends pitties.
I love pitbull‘s my cousins actually have one named Tucker and he’s like the sweetest dog I’ve ever met so I think everyone should adopt a pitbull‘s because they’re such good dogs
I actually just adopted a pitbull lab mix puppy a couple months ago and she’s so smart and cuddly and playfulAnd I just think everyone should have people is because they’re amazing dogs and yeah
My 4 year old 50% pitt, German Shep/chow/plott hound mix … is the sweetest boy EVER!! He has been with multiple dogs from puppies to adults, and when I have dogs who are a little dog reactive or aggressive for training … he is perfect with them (of course it’s training the owners 😅). But not once - has he ever shown aggression!! I now have 2 young pups 4 months old … and he sets boundaries gently (more gently than their mothers would have, just saying). I’ve had 30 years of experience and am a certified trainer and groomer … I’ve NEVER had a problem with a potty or bully breed … FYI … the hardest dogs to train and groom are the little ones, because the owners do nothing to train. I’ve had boxers, boxer/Pitt mixes, pitties and never ever had one bite or show aggression to anyone!! I’m one of the few groomers in my area who welcomes pitties into their shop for grooming!! Love love love the bully breeds!
BLASPHEMY By blasphemy I mean HOW DARE THEY INSULT SUCH A BABY Also, side story: After my dog (yellow lab) passed away and I my dad and I were thinking of finding a new one to fill our empty hearts, I suggested a pit Bull and my dad felt weary, saying; “I wouldn’t trust pit bulls, I know not all of them are bad, but they’re just so unpredictable.” Unfortunately he doesn’t realize that pit bulls and bully breeds get such a bad reputation due tot he fact that they are in abusive, uncaring or unloving or homes or environments, and there personalities and behaviors are molded by the owners who are responsible for them. When adopting a pit bull, or any dog, take care of it the right way - like you would with family
I have a dog, she is a mix between a Pitbull and Boxer (maybe even some dalmatian), and she is the sweetest girl ever, she protects her family, the only time she barks is when she sees a person, another dog, or when she needs go go outside, her name is Envy
This short film almost made me 😢. Keep up with the good work and I hope you have a lovely day with your wife and daughter. I love ♥️ watching you guy's
I know I already commented but today my grandparents died and she was part pitty. I loved her and before I got my dog she was like a dog to me. I really thank you for what this video means. I miss her so much and that along with this video makes me fight harder for the breed.
I have a lab pit mix named Lucy. I rescued her just two days after my last rescue passed away, and I recall seeing her in the shelter and how she climbed up in my lap. I've had her for almost 5 years now and she's the sweetest dog ever, and everyone adores her.
Every dog breed is adorable. Pit Bulls are adorable. You can see the cuteness in their eyes. I had a friend who had a pitbull, and when i was younger, I was afraid of big dogs, but the second I walked out, he started licking me and he was so excited to meet me. He was so adorable. So if you're thinking of adopting a pit bull, definitely do so.
I actually rescue and raise pit bulls and I've never have any problems with any of them all of them are friendly with each other and never cause any problems it's wrong to stereotype pit bulls their actually amazing dogs
Pits are incredible dogs, I love the so much, I have a staffy, and people give me stinking looks and pull their kids away from him, but he’s the most gentle, loving dog I’ve ever met in my life, he loves people, but people tend not to like them because of their reputation. It’s sad 😞❤️
Snap. I've been attacked by owners if other dogs because I have a staffy. I've taken to walking him very late or very early because I'm sick of people's attitudes.
Every time my mom saw a pit bull she would pull me away until I said there not mean and that they are sweet I hate when people discriminate a dog all because of it’s breed
The love of a pit bull will change your life! ❤️ I always knew they werent bad but didn’t realize how truly special they are until we rescued one back in Nov. changed my life for sure! I’ve never felt such a love! 🥰🥰
@@jackpoage5419 that’s on the irresponsible owner not the entire breed of Pitties. German Shepherds are more likely to bite a human but they don’t have the bad reputation and stigma. I’m sorry that happened to you but it’s not an entire breeds fault. Humans need to be responsible with the animals they have and if they aren’t then any breed is potentially dangerous!
Due to me almost getting bitten by a pit bull when I was little, I used to hate them and all bully breeds for a while. But after having my own dog for a long time and properly educating myself on all dog breeds, I’m ashamed that I thought so negatively about them for so many years. Any dog of any breed can be an amazing pet and friend. Just as long as they’re in a healthy environment with consistent training by they’re owners regardless of what breed they are, any dog can have the potential to be great. I love all breeds of dogs and always will and it really saddens me to see that not everyone has that mindset. But always keep in mind, there’s no such thing as a bad dog. Just a bad dog owner.
My dad owned a pitbull, his name was Wendigo. He was the best dog, he had a brother, Jones, Jones was a golden retriever mix he was big, Wendigo got stolen and his brother Jones couldn't live without his brother so we sold him. Pitbulls are the best, don't believe what people say about dogs, NO DOGS ARE BAD Hope this comment cheered you up
Buzz is gorgeous!!!I have a pit mastiff mix and she is a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle and when I get home from work she has to have her kisses hugs and she has to nibble my ear lobes lol I've never owned a pitty before but I DEFINITELY will in the future.
I have a doberman and this makes me realise ho lucky I am to live in an area where she is adored by everyone despite the fact she's... different. I love her she's so sweet
@@harshithreddy3433 Just like pitbulls, dobermans are only aggressive if treated badly (like dog fighting for example), but if treated like any other breed of dog, dobermans are real sweethearts
@@eszterkovacs908 then why don't people do that, if they treat it like a bully then it will definitely become like that, why can't people understand this🤧
Lol when the lady screams and the pit is just trying to make a new friend. I'd take that dog in a second, so cure. Horrible people gave them the bad reputation.
My aunt Donna has a pitbull named Freckles because she has freckles all over the top of her nose and cheeks - she’s gray and white, and is very very sweet! ❤️
What a beautiful way to tell such a great story about the pitties. Really the story should be about the owner not the dog. The most important part of a dogs success is who the owner is and how the love train and treat their dog. Any dog can be a mean dog in the hands of a mean careless owner.
So true it's bad owner's who train there dog's to fight and that owner goes to jail. And it's the dog who gets a bad reputation as being aggressive or violent it just makes me sad ☹ not dog or any animal deserves that.
We recently helped a pittie on the interstate and she was the sweetest thing. She laid on my lap and NEVER showed any sign of aggression. Society says pit bulls are mean but you can't always trust society.
I love my rescue pitbull. They are amazing dogs ❤ so loving and intelligent! It's unfortunate that so many people are ignorant and believe stereotypes. Pitbulls rock! Shout out to all the bully breed parents 🎉❤.
The lady that said pitt bulls bite is right: literally every dog on this planet bites, it is a way they can defend themselves. Just because they can bite doesn't mean they always will. If they bite you that either means they don't trust you, they are playing too rough or they have had some rough experiences that causes them lash out unexpectedly. That doesn't mean they need to be put down. It just means that they need to be shown more love and maybe get more help from a professional. It is sick to think that people would put a dog down because of what other people did to it. Pit bulls are amazing creatures along with every other dog.
I had a pit bull. He had been beaten and neglected by his previous owners. They had allowed him to get covered in ticks and fleas. Every rib in his body showed. He actually developed Lymes Disease from their maltreatment. After we rescued him, he started having seizures and our vet believed that it was from being beaten. They said that him being punched in the head might have caused the seizures to develop. Even though he had his seizures he remained an absolute sweetheart. He never bit anyone. He never growled. (Unless it was to defend the people that he loved.) It actually made the vet upset to put him down, due to how gentle and sweet he was. But the seizures became too much for him. They started to become full-blown strokes. It got to the point where he was struggling to stand. We had to bring water to him, otherwise, he had to drag himself to the bowl. We had no other choice since we didn't want to see him suffer anymore. He passed away sweetly, being gently pet by my Grandmother and me. I miss him so much. I hope we gave him the home that he needed after being abused so much. We love and miss you Gigg!
My parents had a pitbulll, beautiful blue eyes. Was so sneaky he'd crawl on top of me when i was sleeping just to sleep on me. His name was Frankie. We found him on Thanksgiving with a bullet hole in his head. Sweetest dog you could meet, killed because of his breed.Miss him so much and hate why they are hated. It is not the breed that id bad, its the people that raise them
That dog park scene is too real! I once brought my 10 year old pittie to a dog park and had a Karen threaten to sue me and then she almost physically assaulted me. My dog was very well behaved throughout the whole ordeal, but it was NOT a fun day.
I’m so sorry for your ordeal , it’s ignorance , but it’s scary they are the ones that abuse pets 🙏🏾 hopefully she learned something , once she saw your baby was calm as a cucumber ha 😂take that Karen 😝
We adopted an 8 month old pitbull found running the streets. He was protective of our yard and the only time he ever got in a fight was when other loose dogs came on our property. He helped raised the grandkids, protected our cats and was so chill. Our little Chihuahua bossed him around! We just lost him after 14 years and it's still heartbreaking. We miss him so much. So I'm offering his name as a future suggestion. RIP Bruiser
This is amazing! I love what you do. I have a lab pit terrier mix, and she’s the sweetest dog ever! I hope buzz and other pitties gets adopted! Best of luck 🍀
There a pitbull next door to me named Cogey, he has loud barks, he learned dangerous tricks on his own, he is very wild when playing, but he is the sweetest dog! He is so kind to me and my family, when I moved here the first day, me and my family met Cogey and adored him.
I'm so so sorry for anyone who doesn't like pit bully breed dogs. They won't know love or care or companionship . Every pit bull I've met is super sweet. Yes they can be aggressive but only because of mistreatment neglect or being forced to fight. Going against their nature. But you'll never find a more loving dog they find your heart and never ever leave it
Pitbulls are just the same as any other dog it’s sad that people think pitbulls are bad if you train a pitbull right they will be great just the same if you train any other dog
My son brought home a pit bull . I told him that dog would never come in my house. 13 years later , that same dog sleeps in my bed every night and still takes every step that I take. Truly, the best dog I have ever had!
Aw 🥺🥺🥺, I love pitbulls (hope I spelled that right) their one of my favorite dog breeds. I used to have a pitbull as a kid and she was the nicest dog I've ever owned. She'd always be their no matter what kinda mood I was in, she normally listened to me when I called and always wanted to be loved. Seriously guys pitbulls are aboustly amazing and if I ever get a dog pitbulls would be on my tip 5 list.
I haven't had a pittbull (yet) because I still live with my parents and my father is allergic, so we have one of those anti-allergic breed of dogs. But later I do plan on getting a pittbull.
People need to see bite statistics by breed. What I have seen in the past has been the percentage of bites by breed are pretty low for pitbulls. I have a rottie mix and a pitbull and both are not even good barkers. The only way I even know someone is in the yard is that both will sit in front of the window and wag their tails.
You pit nutters truly have no shame, do you? It's not JUST about a simple "bite" but about the damage that the bite does. I know I know, you want to say some nonsense like "bUt BuT bUt cHiHuAhUaS aRe mOrE AggReSsiVe aNd bItE mOrE" but we all know that a Chihuahua bite ISN'T going to land a child in the hospital with a need for MULTIPLE cosmetic reconstruction operations. Pitbulls have killed more people in the past 15 years than EVERY OTHER DOG breed combined, but certainly you'll find a way to disregard and blow off the cold hard stats don't fall in line with your ignorant world views.
Pitbulls are the absolute best dogs. My pit mix lives for cuddles, chicken jerky and squeak toys and literally follows me around the house, sleeping anywhere he can see me. His tail never stops wagging. He’s precious. ❤ We must not perpetuate the stigma.
This is such an inspirational video! I couldn’t help but tear up! I have a chihuahua & my ex had a pit boxer! They are bf! Even when he first met her, total sweetie! Im a dog groomer and when I tell you I’ve been bitten by more shih tzus and yorkie than sweet little pibbles. They are anxious but they are so loving and sweet. All they want is to be with their owners. That’s it. They are loyal and sweet and if I could afford it I’d adopts as many pibbles as possible.

This happens to me also

Thank you! Let’s help these Pitties 💪🐶
I thought you were talking about My dog! Yours sounds HUGE! The bigger they are the more goofy they act for attention (or treats).
I had a Pitbull x American Bulldog and he was the BEST
😃. The older lady reminded me of Carol in The Walking Dead. She's smart and a survivor. I would totally believe anything she said.
I would watch more videos like this.

Good for you. I feel exactly the same way.
I have 2 pit bulls and they are the sweetest things ever.
People need to stop saying they are bad dogs .
They are the kindest animals once trained properly.
True my dog is a pit bull mix and she’s never been a huge problem
Yeah
@@andrewhelmer9721 no because we don’t want that! The video is literally about not doing that!!

The thing is pitbulls CAN be dangerous and aggressive, but only if their owners TRAIN them to be aggressive. In reality they are very gentle and lovable dogs.
@@arisberisha186 yep, I've had a pitbull mix for atleat 2-3 years, and she loves every dog she meets, she always let her litter win play fights with her. And whenever she play fights with her friend, she's always gentle too, and she loves affection and cuddles :)

how is it biased? facts are facts. even the most loving and well socialized pitbulls have mauled people. sometimes its a baby, sometimes its a rescue employee. it doesnt have much to do with how well you socialize them and train them, there is always a chance they snap and they are one of the few breeds with a stronger jaw that is capable of causing more damage.
Oh it’s not the humans we should worry it’s the other animals they attack my dad and mum had one and they did everything to give it the right training and love but guess what the stupid dog still kill two beautiful other dogs I gave them a try and i regret it
BS. Some dogs clearly have a screw loose, just like some humans.
@@shdwfxgamerz7667 A real dog owner wouldn’t treat them like a fighting toy, I be so glad if one bite you

Pitbulls are in fact, the best ❤🐶 I love my pitbull Moose, he's my best bud!!
I agree 150%!

@@funtimerhikes2330 😂 right!
Really? Chihuahua/yorkie/mini-poodle attacks don't make it in the news? Gee, I wonder why. *Maybe...
@not tyre More than 95% of that is caused by rabies and other viruses. Not dangerous dog attacks. 🤣 Try harder next time, kid.
I hate it too. I have had amazing experiences with Pitbulls
I have had five pitbulls they were the sweetest dogs I have ever had
Exactly
As some one who owns a bully breed i can confirm they are sweet and loyal (they play a bit more rough than most other dogs but wont attack anything or anyone)
My dog is a labradoodle and he is a bit more aggressive when you first get to know him, but you come to realize he’s actually just TOO friendly and jumpy and excitable. He also has this odd lab thing where they chew on other dogs ears. The moral of the story is, any dog can be aggressive or just seen as aggressive

When adopting a pit bull, or any dog, take care of it the right way - like you would with family
Awwww I love pits they are such big teddy bears

I am a proud pittie mom and I can honestly say that they are the best dogs I've ever owned ❤️🐾.
Yesterday I hat to reatern my German shepherd dog 🐕 sad news 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂

@@Blue_Oceanic I hate it too, it’s all depending how you raise them, and how your house hold is

You are so spot on! So happy to see the pittie love being spread, you are an amazing person. Cheers to having some amazing, loving dogs!!
Me too girl, all of mine have been loving and so smart and whst this gal said is true. Pits are the best dogs to own.
I fostered 2 pitties and they were the sweetest dogs. Got along great with my dog and cats!!!
Just like children, animals are a reflection of their treatment!
All dogs and all animals deserve kindness. Modern society has become ridiculous in so many ways.
I😂😂😂😂😂
My dad owned a pitbull, his name was Wendigo. He was the best dog, he had a brother, Jones, Jones was a golden retriever mix he was big, Wendigo got stolen and his brother Jones couldn't live without his brother so we sold him. Pitbulls are the best, don't believe what people say about dogs, NO DOGS ARE BAD
Hope this comment cheered you up
Exactly
You sold coz he couldn't live without his brother???...and how would he live without his brother and his dad and his home???
it depends on training (abuse, neglect, etc)
Sold him!?
Wendigo.. what an eerie name. Name your next dog Skinwalker for me, will ya?
Every dog deserves to have a good home and a good live
I read a puppy place with a pitty in it and Lizzie (a girl) was making a paper to prove to her class that pit bulls and boxers are misjudged.

Buzz is gorgeous!!!I have a pit mastiff mix and she is a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle and when I get home from work she has to have her kisses hugs and she has to nibble my ear lobes lol I've never owned a pitty before but I DEFINITELY will in the future.
How big is it
a pit mastif mix bro that things probably hella big.
I have a doberman and this makes me realise ho lucky I am to live in an area where she is adored by everyone despite the fact she's... different. I love her she's so sweet
Opo
Just asking, I've heard that doberman's are also aggressive, is it true?
@@harshithreddy3433 Just like pitbulls, dobermans are only aggressive if treated badly (like dog fighting for example), but if treated like any other breed of dog, dobermans are real sweethearts
@@eszterkovacs908 then why don't people do that, if they treat it like a bully then it will definitely become like that, why can't people understand this🤧
When I get older I’m going to get a Doberman.
All the pitties I’ve met and seen are big sweet slobbering love bugs. My neighbor right now has one and he’s such a sweet dog.
So right
@Mila 1228 *Huskies* aren't aggressive dogs lol why you even included them in your list is obsurd. They love people.😜

Aww that’s so sad!! But don’t worry you gave him the best home

It is not the breed that id bad, its the people that raise them
Pittys are awesome awesome pets. Any bully breed are great family loving dogs.
That dog park scene is too real! I once brought my 10 year old pittie to a dog park and had a Karen threaten to sue me and then she almost physically assaulted me. My dog was very well behaved throughout the whole ordeal, but it was NOT a fun day.

RIP Bruiser
Do I have permission to use that for my cat. I think it would be a good name.

pit bulls are treated so horribly they are so adorable they deserve better 🐕🦺
There a pitbull next door to me named Cogey, he has loud barks, he learned dangerous tricks on his own, he is very wild when playing, but he is the sweetest dog! He is so kind to me and my family, when I moved here the first day, me and my family met Cogey and adored him.
i own a pittie x rottie, and can say she is extremely sociable and lovable

I'm so so sorry for anyone who doesn't like pit bully breed dogs. They won't know love or care or companionship . Every pit bull I've met is super sweet. Yes they can be aggressive but only because of mistreatment neglect or being forced to fight. Going against their nature. But you'll never find a more loving dog they find your heart and never ever leave it
Thank you Christine! I agree such a loving breed.
I love the short film and buzz really does seem like a real sweetheart hope that all pit bulls can just bet adopted already
I have a pit bull and she's the best dog ever
This makes me so, so sad, and happy.
An excellent idea! I hope Buddy is homed really quickly :)
