Absolutely. Even if he was a bit... easy, even on the hard difficulty. They kind of did the guy poorly, but the fight, at the end of the day, was more epic than epic. Glad he has a [redacted spoiler] version to fight like all the other bosses. That certainly makes up for it.

I REALLY want a Meta Knight campaign for this game. I am really hoping we get some sort of DLC for the Meta Knight side of things. If you read the item descriptions, Meta Knight has, like, an entire story that goes unshown within this game. There's also the fact that there is a phantom boss fight for Meta Knight, which are just the memories of Leon. This means that Meta Knight had to have met Leon at some point. My ultimate wish is that the whole things ends off with a boss fight against Kirby.
Actually... (Spoiler?) It was Fecto Forgo's memories that created MK's phantom boss version. It tried to brainwash him but just plain failed due to his sheer will.
TBH the Meta Knight side of the story would get repetitive after a while considering that figurine description saying Meta Knight fended off attacks on Waddle Dee Town from Gorimondo like 47 times or something.

Okay, I'm just gonna say it... this is the BEST Meta Knight battle theme EVER! And not only that, but this theme has become my new favorite rearrangement of My Friend & The Setting Sun! Goodness, this is easily one of the best tracks in the entire game...!

This fight really felt like a duel, even when I was using the morpho knight sword I held back from easily deleting him because I wanted the fun brought by that feeling of being evenly matched
I love how you can see how Meta Knight resists Fecto Forgo's control, but Dedede doesnt. Kirby and BWD also were fine. If only Dedede wasn't an idiot from the start...

What I used to do when I stunned him was that I would drop my copy ability, grab his sword, drop that copy ability, inhale it and spit it in his face. Then I would swallow my copy ability afterward.
Fun Fact: You don't actually have to pick up the sword before the fight starts. I actually discovered this by accident on my very first time going through the colosseum.
This is possibly my favorite track in the franchise. It perfectly conveys the idea that this is a friendly sparring match, but that doesn't mean Meta Knight's going to go easy on Kirby.
That would be what's generally referred to as a "call and response". Imagine that being kind of like two instruments/phrases having a back and forth conversation.
In Kirby games, I feel that they’ve gotten DDD’s theme on point and just make remixes of them every game while for meta knight, they’re still experimenting on his actual theme, though all of the themes he has have similar tones
Best Meta Knight theme yet, only because it fits his theme perfectly. Every other theme was incredible, but i think that Star Allies and Forgotten Land nailed his character the most.

I'm sorry, JAZZ???? I've never personally played any Kirby games other than the first one and super star allies or whatever the one is where you play with three other kirbs, and my kirby experience is purely based on failboat, so this jazzy jumpscare was very much welcome!
Most of that lore goes to his backstory in the anime Kirby right back at ya on how he was a star worrior and the Sole survivor of the dark mind invasion i think
The anime is an entirely separate continuity. Whereas the anime's Meta Knight one of the only surviving members of the GSA and incredibly spanish-guitar-coded, the games' Meta Knight is a lone-wolf swordsman that heads a small band of mercenaries and strives to become the strongest warrior in the galaxy. Also the concept of a star warrior is nonexistent in game canon. The title refers to how he resisted ID-F86's mind control and continually defends Waddle Dee Town from invasion by the Beast Pack while you're off playing through the game.
So why did they choose the song for when you defeat Meta Knight as the new Meta Knight theme? It's an amazing track, but it's weird that they chose that instead of Revenge of Meta Knight or his old battle theme...
Partially because HAL generally uses _Revenge of Meta Knight_ more for the Halberd itself than Meta Knight, and partially because it shows his growth as a character. Taking the theme of his most crushing defeat and making it his primary motif shows that he used that loss as a learning experience and came out of it better than ever before.

Hey I beat the entire game in 6 hours and got every waddle dee not really I missed a lot I have about 228 waddles for meta knight to protect while I get Leon’s souls

This fight really felt like a duel, even when I was using the morpho knight sword I held back from easily deleting him because I wanted the fun brought by that feeling of being evenly matched

Rival bosses are always among the greatest in any video game, and this fight against Meta Knight is proof of that.
What I used to do when I stunned him was that I would drop my copy ability, grab his sword, drop that copy ability, inhale it and spit it in his face.

This is possibly my favorite track in the franchise. It perfectly conveys the idea that this is a friendly sparring match, but that doesn't mean Meta Knight's going to go easy on Kirby.
The fight against him is one of my favourite parts of the game so far.

In Kirby games, I feel that they’ve gotten DDD’s theme on point and just make remixes of them every game while for meta knight, they’re still experimenting on his actual theme, though all of the themes he has have similar tones
Best Meta Knight theme yet, only because it fits his theme perfectly. Every other theme was incredible, but i think that Star Allies and Forgotten Land nailed his character the most.
The reason Meta Knight is so easy is because he's not used to being in 3D.

Most of that lore goes to his backstory in the anime Kirby right back at ya on how he was a star worrior and the Sole survivor of the dark mind invasion i think
The anime is an entirely separate continuity. Whereas the anime's Meta Knight one of the only surviving members of the GSA and incredibly spanish-guitar-coded, the games' Meta Knight is a lone-wolf swordsman that heads a small band of mercenaries and strives to become the strongest warrior in the galaxy. Also the concept of a star warrior is nonexistent in game canon.
The title refers to how he resisted ID-F86's mind control and continually defends Waddle Dee Town from invasion by the Beast Pack while you're off playing through the game.

So why did they choose the song for when you defeat Meta Knight as the new Meta Knight theme? It's an amazing track, but it's weird that they chose that instead of Revenge of Meta Knight or his old battle theme...
Mega knight is simply training Kirby, he has no intention of winning
Partially because HAL generally uses _Revenge of Meta Knight_ more for the Halberd itself than Meta Knight, and partially because it shows his growth as a character. Taking the theme of his most crushing defeat and making it his primary motif shows that he used that loss as a learning experience and came out of it better than ever before.
What I hate about morpho and metaknight is that they are to hard to hit,they are extremely fast
