Honestly, coming into 2025, this year might just be HYPE!!! I can’t even put into words how excited I am. We’re finally getting the Nintendo Switch 2! Along with that, we’re getting amazing games like a new Mario Kart (9 or 10), a 3D Mario, Pokémon Legends Z-A, a new Zelda, and possibly even Smash 6! The list just keeps growing, and I genuinely can’t wait. This is going to be the year I finally own a Switch console! Not only will I be able to play some of my favorite games, but I’ll also get to experience a new kind of console that’s rumored to rival the Xbox and PlayStation. Huge props to Nin10doland-they’ve been on top of everything, keeping us updated with all the right info about the Switch 2. I really appreciate their hard work. Here’s to an exciting year ahead! I feel like Mario Kart is likely to be a launch title. It was the first game to be demo and nitendo most likely needs a family multi-player game for launch. If not launch then Mario kart will be release in October for Mario Birthday and ready for the holidays. There is a solid chance The new 3d Mario game be release for the holiday or even October for mario 40th.

Nintendo is brilliant - and here's why....do you *really* think for one second that a company as litigious as Nintendo would *allow* "leaks" to get out unless they WANTED them out? Oh, poor naive fans. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SENT THEM OUT. They've done two things - misdirection (false information) mixed with TRUE leaks - and they have been doing it well in advance of release so that they can keep an eye on the reactions and make changes accordingly. If it IS called "Switch 2", that's NOT Nintendo's normal behavior - they NEVER use numbered sequel systems - 3DS and 64 were named that because they were 3D dual screen and 64 bits, NOT because they were sequel systems. So WHY then would multiple names "leak" for the system? Easy - they wanted to go with what was going to be most marketable, so they leaked system names to see how people would react. They, in other words, learned from the Wii-U incident and decided to leverage social media to find out what WE would best respond to and be most likely to buy. HENCE, the system being able to play Switch 1 software and keeping the Switch Online store - THEY WERE lISTENING. These leaks have been a TEST. There was no mistake. They're trying to figure out what the best approach would be - which is brilliant among other companies that do not pay attention to these things. They kept a steady but slow stream of misdirections and true leaks going for well over a year so that YOU would all be talking about it and arguing about it up until release. They've played this game masterfully. Here we are, talking about it, baited breath, wallets ready.

I STRONGLY DOUBT that. Don't put all your hopes up too much or it's gonna disappoint you and be all for NAUGHT. I wouldn't expect too much from Nintendo at this point, but remember: ONLY Nintendo will tell us WHEN. Be patient and wait and see what 2025 is gonna look like for Nintendo.
You haven't figured this out yet.... There won't be Switch 2 only games. This is more of a PRO mid-life console (ie PS4 pro, or xbox one X). That is why the game cartridges are unchanged and why everything on your Switch will play on it.... because it is just a suped-up switch! The only stuff that wont function properly is the games that use Labo and the IR. I am willing to bet that S2 games will function on the S1 console/handheld!
I still expect them to be a corrupt monopolistic company who doesn't like to have to fight against better games like Palworld and files unethical copyrights to silence them.
