The cruise control system and controls, once you get used to the layout, is by far the best across all the different brands I’ve driven. The rear controls that adjust the speed are super tactile and easy to find and the dial that swaps between speed limiter and cruise control is by far the easiest to feel your way around without taking eyes off the road.
If controls are stalk-based behind the street wheel, I prefer the style that Lexus/Toyota or Audi use, where the while stalk moves instead of having to reach for weird buttons - personally, I find a fully movable stalk to be more intuitive.
@ some of this is obviously just habit, for all of us, but having driven quite a few VAG and Stellantis group cars I can definitely say that the ergonomics of the Stallantis stalk is a lot better.
The car is incredibly comfortable to drive. I live in a city, so a compact car is a must have. I drive the e208 as a business lease car, but wouldn't have chosen the 2024 model otherwise. It's predecessor (2022) is almost the same car, just cheaper. Also as a dutch 🇳🇱 viewer, my glove compartment is way bigger 😉
Don't forget that more and more new cars are bought on finance terms, so it's increasingly about how much it costs you per month instead of the overall purchase price. 💶💶💶
That 3.6 is after a lot of motorway driving. In the elements of urban driving I had been doing, I saw a journey average of 4.2 m/kWh which does mean for urban driving you could easily get 200 miles. We know that range suffers on motorways though.
@@Matty12333 the difference is. It’s cost you £60+ to fill your tank and do that mileage . As where it’s cost £3.60 to do 200miles . So all in all less than £10 in comparison
I think that Peugeots are over designed and the claw like LEDs look gimmicky. I also think that they age too quickly. I saw a new 408 on the road for the first time just over a month ago and found it to be a striking looking car but now when I see one, they look dated and awkward. That amount of money for a small electric Peugeot? No thanks!
The trim level of the car can have a bit of an impact on how it looks. It also massively impacts the price. New cars are more expensive nowadays though, but often it's the monthly price that really matters to people, with most new vehicles being bought on finance.
I don't understand who in 2024 says, I don't want a Toyota, i don't want a Honda, Mazda, KIA, Volvo, Mini, Ford, BMW, VW, Skoda, Seat...etc I am gonna burn all my money on a Peugeot! I never understood the kind of people who drive citroen and Peugeot, although it is quite obvious by the way they drive.

The clovebox is always larger in the original designed left hand drive cars.
We know, but this is a right-hand drive car
When Can buy the new version of the e208?
Speak to your dealer for local delivery estimates
Preferred the original led front lights and vertical rear lights
What is it about the pre-facelift lighting that makes you prefer it?

Glad you’re enjoying yours! Thanks for watching!
Tell me about the noise isolation, that's all that matters.

Why no mini-estate like the 206 of old??
Unfortunately estates are no longer bought by most consumers. The smallest estate Peugeot offers is now the 308.
That evolved into 2008
Except the 2008 isn't as spacious or as useful as an estate. The only benefit it really gets you is an increased ride height.
Very beautiful facelift but sadly very expensive. Over 40,000€ for a small car is just too much…

No chance of 200miles real world range . At 3.6 and usable battery of 48.1kw that’s a range of 173 miles

Poor efficiency as usual from Stellantis vehicles.
This uses their older battery and motor set up. Their new platform, underpinning the new E-3008 is a massive step forward.
My 14 year old fiesta gets 320 miles range out of an outdated engine, so it's shocking to see 200 mile range of an electric vehicle

Both Citroen and Peugeot's products have changed massively over the last decade.
I don’t understand why you would make such an inane comment!

Beautiful looking car but……. No thanks
Why is that?
