I was really interested in one of these, not the gods have grown, I really fancied a small car, down from years of estates. However I ended up going for the Cupra born. The seats in it did it for me. The Born has excellent seats. But I'd like the switches this has.
No class in any milk float. Soulless, expensive, boring, depreciation faster than a bishop from a brothel raid, environmental damage from the batteries, tyres, no-one knows how to repair them or recycle them, range issues, charging time issues, need me to go on.
How come it is soulless? I can not see that. Also I do not find it boring, rather the opposite, also the interior is well made and looks nice. How do the batteries damage the environment and what are you comparing it to? Do you only walk by foot? Tyres? Every car has tires, unless they are stolen... What do you think should be serviced or repaired on an electric vehicle? Why is recycling a problem? What do you mean by range issues? For whom do they apply? Why is charging time an issue?
@@mbvalency Obviously you have no clue. Why don't you Google those questions i.e batteries damaging the environment, the cars weight damaging the roads. The tyres for EV's produce more small particulates that pollute. They blow up, the fires when they do are nigh on impossible to put out so i wouldn't charge yours too close your house. Listen to yourself and do a bit more reading. People now are, which is why the demand has dropped off a cliff and nobody wants used ones.
Any car that cas do 200miles and have a decent charge rate, had no charge time issues. If your going on a trip, you don't run it to zero then charge to 100! You drive about 3h out, get out for a pee and a coffee, by the time you get back to the car with your coffee, 15-20mins, you'll have enough charge to do another 3 hours driving. Ive not had issue driving across Europe. An example is, going from Calais to nice, avoiding tolls roads takes a total of 18h and 10mims, in my Cupra born the torl charge time was 1h and 36mins split into 5 sub 20min charges. A total of 220kw, which in fence costs about £55 (€66). But it was actually a bit less cos my hotel in Dijon had a free 7.5kw over night charger which saved me 40kw's, as I charged it to fill over night form it's 20% it has on arrival. But if you add that into the 80% I stated with at Calais, it means it negate the free power I got. But it's a good example of how charging time issues are a myth, and it's also cheap if you use the right charging network. I like to keep to Tesla charge stations. But in France the prices of the others are almost on par with Tesla's, in like in the UK.
@@StephenButlerOnein addition to driving for a few hours then charging while you use the facilities, people also need to realize that most people are not making trips longer than 200 miles with any kind of regularity and depending on where/why you may have a few hundred Miles to travel then you may be better served taking the train or hiring an ICE vehicle. You certainly can do massively long journeys with EVs but you rarely need to and certainly don't have to.
😮 My favorite car reviewer ❤
Appreciate that

Such a nice choice, regardless of the powertrain.
