I have this condition (hidradenitis suppurativa) and it can be VERY painful. I have learned to recognize the signs that I'm about to have a flare-up: my armpit will itch like crazy. I've also learned how to minimize my flare-ups. In the summer, when they are the worst, I literally cover my entire armpit with a large 4x4 adhesive bandage smeared with a layer of Prid salve. It's basically a drawing salve I found at Wal-Mart. I told my dermatologist about it and she said if it worked, keep using it. And it helps draw out the infection when I do have a flare-up. I've also learned that antiperspirants can trigger a flare up,, so I have to be even more diligent about washing/showering.
Ouch!!!! Great job once again. I clicked on the fishing video that popped up at the end. Did not think I would like it but enjoyed very much and had to watch another one! You are living my dream life. Out the back door and hook in the water. I am a nearly 70 year old retired nurse and used to catch small mouth bass. Love the fight and the sport.
Good video but i wouldve loved to see the flush at the end too! Gah, that must have hurt her so bad, glad you could relieve the pressure, ingrowns, and content from her.
So true, that must of smelled worst then it looked. Wonder if one day technology will let's us do both, look and get a woof? Actually may not be not a good idea, we'd all be walking with our lunch all over the phones. 🤔😋
I don't have HS, but, I do have to regularly pull out hair from the pores in my armpits. Many grow in each pore, and the skin can very quickly grow over them. They get trapped, and as I am diabetic, the pores there are prone to getting blocked, and developing into big abscesses. Sometimes, it can literally happen overnight, or within a space of hours. I used tweezers and a sterile scalpel blade. The blade is to extremely lightly take off the thinnest layer of top skin. It is always very thin, you can visually see the trapped hair beneath. It does not hurt, nor does it bleed, but once that is done, the hair which had started to become ingrown is freed up to pull slowly out. I call it "preening", and I do it every day. Not every pore is plucked, just the ones that become blocked, and have multiple hairs in them. If I fail to do this, it is guaranteed that a pore will become blocked, then swollen. Then, my body seems to go nuts, the pore swells up, and an abscess is the inevitable result. It is a bit time consuming, but better I do that, than need yet ANOTHER round of antibiotics...

Him: *keeps going*
Ugh!!
Wow very cool! Thanks and especially to your patient for sharing. I feel for her. I would love to see you work on cleaning up those other ingrowns. Thanks!😊😊😊😊
Oh man bad spot so painful I feel for her, thank you for helping her get relief. How amazing are we that we are such troopers through so much. Girl power.
Ohh wow, anything in the armpit is sooo painful. Thank you for sharing!
You had me on "ingrown" then came "armpit" and, oooooh ABSCESS!!!! And my day was complete! So much for mowing.
Just got comfy in bed and a Mr PopZit video pops up! Thank you to both the wonderful patient and Greg for sharing this with us.
Edit: Oh wow! She is definitely going to sleep better tonight.
I am the same, says a lot about us!
Just watched this. Would never go to this doctor. He did not get the whole sack. This painful abscess will be beck 🥵
This has changed my life for the better. Fantastic.
You can tell with HS she hardly flinches with anything you’re doing! I’m sorry anyone has this disease!
Wanted to say thank you to the patient that allowed us to see this hair grown cyst. Thanks to the provider as well, and hope for a follow up.
LOCULATIONS!!!!
That was surprisingly awesome
Best pop ever, Mr. PopZit.
Oh, I feel bad for the patient. I’ve had a cyst before and they are incredibly sore and hurt when you touch it. Great job Doc.
I can practically hear this poor woman cringing every time he says "look at all the hairs!" Poor lady ❤
He’s very rude
the result of ingrown hair = hair. what's to cringe about? are you an infant?
Oooooo green slime! Fantastic video
She'll feel a lot better! Good work!
I learn sooo much from your channels! A huge ty to your amazing patients for allowing all of us to go on your journey!
You're literally so gentle and respectful you're amazing!!
As, the poor dear! You were so nice, being as gentle as you could! I feel terribly for her. But, I’m happy she shot of that !!!
Your videos are always great - so educational. Thanks for sharing.🌺🌷🌺
Dr. Pimple Popper's techniques makes all these other Derms look like hacks🤷♂
That was a messy one Mr PopZit but interesting thank you both for sharing Martha from Scotland
Good juicy pop. Job well done. The Doctor is real good at explaining what he is finding.
I just had one that was on my arm pit. I can't even put into words the relief I felt when it popped. It hurt so bad it was hard to sleep
Thank you for representing those of us with HS. ❤️
Bless her heart! That looked painful. Well done 👏🏼
I love this dr. Always asking if the patient is ok. My drs never did this when i was in for cysts or abscesses
Great to see something new!..that looked very painful. Glad you helped
My heart goes to anyone who has to deal with HS!!! 😢❤
This is AMAZING!!
Very Interesting. Thank You & Your Brave Patient for Sharing!!🥼🤒🌷🌷🌷
Ouch. That looked painful. I’m glad you were able to drain it all. 👍
Good video but i wouldve loved to see the flush at the end too! Gah, that must have hurt her so bad, glad you could relieve the pressure, ingrowns, and content from her.
Glad this kind of care exists for those that need it.
I have this and it’s so painful. When they say it’s the most painful skin disorder in the world, they’re not kidding…
The heavenly choir at "You can see clumps of hairs" made me legitimately laugh out loud XD
Great video!!!
And again, thank you for bringing awareness to HS!!
Best one to date. We are so gross addicts but it's sooo epic
So true, that must of smelled worst then it looked. Wonder if one day technology will let's us do both, look and get a woof? Actually may not be not a good idea, we'd all be walking with our lunch all over the phones. 🤔😋
Sweet Mercy. That has to be one of the worst places to have any kind of dermal infection.
Thanks for sharing. So clearly explained🙏👍
What an awesome share! Cyst/Blackhead combo!
💗 THANK YOU 💗
Having HS is so painful! I know the instant relief she feels.
The patient was amazing and she dealt with the pain like an expert (I'm not sure what expert but there must be one).
Thank you for the slow motion!!!!! Awesome!!!!! In her pit, too, owww! Poor girl! So glad you are getting this taken care of!
