I tell my husband all the time that he's lucky he has me to look over his back and squeeze these things when they're little so they don't have a chance to get big. I do it purely for his benefit.😘
Dpows are my favorite. He had so many. Great job getting all of it out. One of the reasons I enjoy your videos so much is because your thoroughness. It's drives me insane when the pores are not completely cleaned out. Rather it's a pimple, blackhead or cyst. Etc. So thanks for doing your job right. And effective, efficiently.
Pilonidal cysts- ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL! I felt for him as soon as he asked about it. I went through that and it was so much misery! Thankfully, I had the full removal surgery and it's way in the past now! I had a grapefruit that started breaking into two separate entities. I literally couldn't stand up straight anymore due to the pressure. Just that initial draining was unbelievable relief! Shout out to Dr West at Riley's Children's Hospital! She really changed my life with that fantastic surgery! 😊
I have had both the micro surgery for the pilonidal cyst and also the major surgery. The major surgery I had to have someone pack the incision for a little more than 2 months while it healed slowly.... those surgeries hurt like hell!!!!!
Had a ganglion cyst surgically removed from my wrist back in the 1980’s. I don’t know how it’s done these days, but it was under general anesthesia in the hospital. They did a good job....it never came back. Good blackhead pops today. Thanks for the video!
I had a ganglion cyst on my wrist when I was a student at a state university. The doctor told me that he what's going to extract the contents without any kind of numbing or anesthesia.
PA Lynch, I am so glad you demonstrated how useful each method of extraction can be. The metal extractor gets such negative reviews but with your explanation you showed they are not harmful but helpful, you have to be knowledgeable on how and when either method can be used!! Great job!!🦋🦋
@@siouxd799 ,that Boop was hilarious. As an RN it’s so great to see someone so talented having a bit of a laugh. I work with Drs and surgeons who have zero personality. Wish we could have Greg here in Australia.
My first dermatologist fifty years ago taught me to hot pack the areas I wanted to extract with a damp washrag or hand towel. It reduces scars and makes it easier to extract an open pores. Then use the opposite Side of the towel so the cool damp closes the cleaned out pores.

Kudos to you Greg. Using your fingers to pull something out. How many video's do we see so called "professionals" trying to pick up the expressed contents with a needle, or black head extractor. They try a million times to pick it up with some tool when we have ten tools. Bless you!
This is why one should wash the back when showering. A loofah or a shower brush is very handy. And a soap with some lactic acid, glycolic acid or even salicylic acid. Trust me, AHAs and BHA are game changers! 🧼
That’s one of the biggest things I respect about you. You always go back and double check. I’m definitely not a Dr but I’ve watched pop shows of many kind from around the world and my biggest pet peeve is they don’t empty all the contents. In my opinion I believe it could do more harm because now you’ve opened that area up and it has a higher chance for infection.
Excellent! I’ve found my new favorite popping channel! I have those darn barnacles, too, and have had the bigger ones burned off because they can itch like crazy. A few didn’t come all the way off. I would like to have seen the ones on this man’s back frozen off, just because I want all of mine, even the smaller light ones on my arms and legs, removed. I’m a “picker,” and I’m always scraping at them!
this is an opportunity to also educate viewers about skin cancers… what it looks like and doesn’t look like. It drives me nuts that these vids show so many moles but not education about them.
I truly pray that this gentleman gets those growths checked for cancer! They look a lil interesting, simular to what my sister has that turned out to be skin cancer.
The dry ones are my favorite. They look so cool when they come out. Love your Shrek quote. Did you do that on purpose? "Better out than in I always say."
Linda here...I was wishing the Dr. would have removed the little ones that were right above the surface! They were light green, small and very visible, just up enough for the tip of a small and very sharp knife to remove. 'Thumbs Up"!
I am so glad you saw this gentleman. My husbands back looks similar. I didn't know what the larger places were. Now I know it's keratosis. I was afraid they were moles gone rogue. 😂 he never goes to doc. Last surgery he had the tracks wrapped around his spine, surgeon couldn't get it all. 2 hours surgery was four to five hours.
Greg, you're incredible. Your bedside manner is fantastic. I love your wee laugh. When you compared the contents to a cobra and then sniggered. I love it! You just seem like one of life's good guys! I almost wish that 1. I had some cysts and 2. That I lived there so that I could come have you remove them. You must make peoples day, week, month and year! Bravo Greg! From me near Loch Lomond, Scotland x
Your bedside manner is calming. Your patients are fortunate.
So glad to see you are 1 who tries to clean out the ENTIRE area after tops popped out . Not just 1 side squeeze done.
Thanks for addressing the "moles" which had me very worried. Glad they weren't dangerous.
Thank you ! I haven’t even gotten half way through the video yet and I was thinking thinking that he should tell him to get those moles checked out .
Never thought I would think a blackhead was cute, but boy golly that little cobra was adorable!

I had one removed also in mid 70s. Mine never came back either. My hand and wrist was wrapped with about 2 inches of gauze.
From my understanding ganglion cysts are fluid not an actual cyst
They used to hit them with the family Bible or a very heavy book to burst them.
