Thx for great video. Do you have external temp sensor for Eberspacher? I have mine installed in enclosed space, and it seems it reads temperature not from remote but from sensor placed under cover. Also, where can I buy this underbody watertank ? Are you using factory alternator for those extra batteries ? I have two batteries under seat, and im thinking about adding thirds in the back, this time with dc/dc for lifepo4 charging. But will alternator handle it ?
Hi, I used the standard alternator can’t comment on whether it will handle more batteries but you can get a more powerful alternator for the defender. I didn’t have an external temp sensor on mine. The water tanks and fuel tanks are from safari-equip.Co.Uk haven’t bought one for ages now but pretty sure they still do them. Thanks for watching.
What is the amount of head clearance in the rear when the roof is DOWN? meaning, what is the distance from floor to ceiling but also what is the distance from the bench seat to the ceiling? Can a 1.85m person sit on the bench without hitting their head? Curious how cramped this is with the top down. Thanks!
@@wright-adventure Sorry...a follow up. With the way the pop tops work, if you simply release the latches, but keep the top down, does that give you a few inches more clearance? Every it counts if you are being stealthy w/ the roof "down."
@@jeffpender5423 yes definitely! It doesn’t automatically start lifting all the way up it has small helper struts on the rear to help which lift it about a foot so in that position it would give you more head room, from there you have to then push it up about another foot before the big gas struts take over.
Not much to share to be fair, do take a look at the website coastline campers.com and Facebook page for more ideas, most of the campers were all a little different but followed a basic design idea.
No problem just to say , I met you years ago at a landrover show think it was the first landrover you had converted, that, was blue and forsale, and I see you have retained the same style, I thought at the time, it was very well thought out as is your latest one, top notch. Atb .
Hi Craig, you can get in touch via Facebook under my name or coastline campers, I’m not currently building campers at the moment as I’m concentrating on other projects, also lots of ideas on my website coastlinecampers.com
@@CraigAndersonPhotographer hi Craig, no sorry I didn’t receive any message that I can find. Maybe easier to email me at: info@coastlinecampers.com Hope that works I’ll look out for you.

Amazing set-up...speaks to a lot of experience! How long did it take to get to this point?

I build the interiors with a 80-100mm foam cushion on top of the wheel arch, I'm 5,10 and it's fine, 6 foot will not be so great.

Looks very impressive. Are you willing to share the details of the rear fitout?

Errol! Do you mind sharing the make of the centre cubby box pls? 🤓
Hi Mark, got to be honest now, I can't remember it was about 4 years ago now. sorry.
The beast))

Sadly we are selling - it has moved on even more if you can believe it ! Leave a message if interested..
I’d love it back but I’ll never find the time to use it! I would imagine it’s going to sell for more than I sold it for?
I guess it's for sale? How much ?
What's the mileage?
yes it was for sale but now gone, did this video for the customer so thought I'd share it for inspiration.
Errol are you still building these rigs?
Hi, not at the moment, taking sometime off for other projects but may go back to them.
