      Hey Felicia! I find that drying time can vary based on things like coat thickness and weather conditions. So an hour could be too long for some crafters. As long as the coats are actually dry in between, you definitely don't want to spray your subsequent coats before the prior coat is completely dry. Thanks for sharing your experience! ---Becky

      @@annhomer2667 I sell my waterslide decals to ladies that make tumbler cups and they seal it with epoxy, usually. They only put it on the outside of the cup so it doesn't touch their drink. Hi! Did you use white or translucent paper for your project? You said to be sure and not use white depending on your project... Just wanted to be sure I'm ordering the right thing. Can you get translucent so there is no border?

    Question. If I want to add a waterslide decals to glass can I also put it in the oven? And is there another way to seal it? For example I want to add some to some stash jars. But they have a rubber seal so I wasn't sure if I should put it in an oven. So I was looking for other options to seal small 2 inch waterslide decals

    Thank you for the video, I also have had issues with the colors fading, and also the waterslide coming off during a washing. I did not bake the mug though. My question is, when using the waterslide on a glass say whiskey glass can that go in the oven as well?

      Hey Tracy! I would think that your glass would be fine in the oven, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at what a difference baking the mug makes. Hope this helps! ---Becky

      I am having a lot of issues with washing off after gentle hand washing as well. I baked and sealed with a clear acrylic afterward thinking that would help secure it to the mug but alas they are still washing off.

    Can the water slide decals be placed directly on spray painted tumblers and then into the convection oven for curing or will it burn? I am new to this.

      I do not know, Elizabeth, I haven't used it on top of spray paint before and I haven't put spray paint in the oven, although it used to be popular before Epoxy took over the tumbler world. Sorry I can't be more help! ---Becky

      Hi there! We wouldn't recommend using waterside decals in the microwave. Waterslide decals should be handwashed only as well. If you need any help, just ask! We are here if you need us.

    Hello can you tell me what brand is a good brand or where did you get your oven from? Also would this method work for hp printers? I kmow sublimation works on this method. But can it also work on regular printers?

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  3 года назад +1

      Hey Precious, waterslide decal paper is designed for inkjet and laser printers (no sublimation needed), so as long as you match your printer to the type of material you purchase, you should be fine. My convection oven (given to me as a gift, I think to encourage me to cook LOL) is De'Longhi brand, which is more expensive than what you actually need. Hope this helps! ---Becky

    • @sassykins13

      You just can't use it for sublimation ink curing because of those chemicals. Waterslide is fine.

    • @DesignBundles
      @DesignBundles  3 года назад +2

      Hey Amanda! It's just a general rule that you don't want to mix craft baking with food baking. There could be fumes or chemicals that are released from the ink, the paper, etc. Always better to be safe than sorry. Hope this helps! ---Becky
