Spider-Man: Far From Home / Spider-Man teams up with Nick Fury and fellow superhero Mysterio to stop four massive elemental creatures -- each representing Earth, air, water and fire -- from wreaking havoc across Europe. / Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter's plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks is quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join forces to fight the havoc unleashed across the continent but all is not as it seems. - Кино
Imagine what mysterio can do if he had the reality stone
Keep in mind though this mysterio had a whole team of people who helped him with everything he did. The scene where he thanks everyone shows that, he wasn’t the one who came up with the costume and he wasn’t the one who came up with the story of the elementals. Sure he’s still super smart since he came up with B.A.R.F. But they still made him more of a team villain then a singular one.
Your comment is so original 😁😁
A great what if episode idea
Well he probably wouldnt be able to even wield it. The stones are too powerful for mortals

I think what’s scary about this movie is how you never even knew what was real or not

it probably took a team of like 200+ people across multiple VFX companies a year to render this lol
Exactly
actually this scene doesn't make any sense. This level of illusion is not consistent with what mysterio could do in this movie. Drones create illusions around the person not on the person himself and illusions can't touch him.
While the scene looks cool, it's actually wrong in the context.

Crazy how Mysterio is the reason the events of no way home played out the way it did
Or how Thanos was the one who caused Far From home.

i just love how they made mysterio not just a one film villain. i mean yes, he only appeared in one film but the fact that his influence and impact also affected peter on the third movie and just how the second flows perfectly into the third like a domino is just brilliant
They did mysterio perfect. Like they perfectly capture how you would think about it in your head as your reading the comic book if not better honesty
Not perfect. The fact that Tony is the reason why he is a villain is just lazy writing. We already had a villain who was affected by Tony stark in the MCU Spiderman film which was a shocker and a vulture
@@dseanmarcell1168 Tony leaves a big footprint on the mcu with everything he does and to many hes a world wide asshole. What did you expect. And Beck is a psycho narcissist if u couldnt tell so im not surprised somthing so trivial with the barf tech set him off

For having apparently not wanted to kill Peter, Beck really shot for a psychologically agonizing death didn’t he
Yeah but how did he know that Peter and iron man were so close though? What gave it away?
@@pure2060Tony giving him a piece of something from him before his death (the glasses?) I’d say that indicates he was fond of Peter.
@@ladymire but how did mysterio know about that though?
Yes because mysterio was someone that worked on creating edith/barf
All that mattered was getting him to tell them who else knew. They needed to hit him psychologically to make sure he wasn't think clearly enough to see through the real scam. Even the part where they give him his red suit is to trick him in the final scam; to make him think "red suit = illusion, black suit = safe". The whole thing depended on him not figuring it out, meaning they needed to put him off balance and keep him off balance, never giving him a moment to pause and think. Maximum psychological damage was necessary to achieve this goal.
watching this scene always made me wonder what a proper Scarecrow vs Batman movie would be like
"Here, have a drink. If you want my advice, you need to lighten up."
Jesus this illusion scene is easily one of the most incredible, unique and memorable sequences the mcu has ever done! Everytime you think its over it just keeps going and going and going. Just when you think you know whats gonna happen next, something else entirely happens. Im so glad they did a scene like this, because it shows just how amazing Mysterios illusion tech is
Probably one of the best if not THE best spider-man scenes in a movie where Mysterio is tricking Spider-man here especially with that Nick Fury illusion
Don’t ya hate it when you try to extend the seatbelt and it locks up? 😂😂😂
yes same
Damn you cute
The key is to be extremely gentle with it.
It's because the car was an illusion it was actually one of those tiny little cars from the 60s and 70s
Let's all be honest. Beck (Mysterio) still would have tried to kill Peter regardless if he knew the truth or not. One last loose end, one last reminder of the man he hated the most, and for the fact that he would most certainly know Peter would eventually find out and try and stop him like he had in the movie.
No Beck didn't want to kill Peter. He made that clear throughout the movie.
I don't understand why people doesn't like Far From Home compare to the first one, I mean let"s be real this is far better than Homecoming, I really loved how they connected Mysterios's tech to some people related to Tony and how it affects the current generation even though he's dead.
Homecoming has charismatic vilain. Here there is only a lot of FX (and paradoxically not so good sometimes). Apart from this scene, there is no idea of staging, every thing is : FX, action with big monsters, joke for teenagers, FX, big monsters, joke, .... Jon Watts is not a great director. He has no signature. Spiderman deserves a better movie.
As much as I loved far from home, it wasn't so much a spider-man film as it was an MCU film. For people who wanted a film about spider-man's charisma and ability to sympathize with the antagonists, this didn't have it. What it did have was millenial/gen z humour and fantastic visual effects, and for that I still adore it, but its direction and plot are void of the heart that makes other spider-man iterations such as Homecoming what they are.
I do not agree with your opinion so that means you're wrong
Yes Far from Home is way better than Homecoming. It’s insane to think otherwise. In fact, Far From Home is better than No Way Home
@@JJ-zy3zv alright stop the riding of far from home 💀💀💀
Peter should've known that it was still an illusion after Mysterio got "shot." Did he think the drones just bugged out?
I mean if you really want to go that route he should have known this Fury was a fake because he's the one who brought him to the fake SHIELD headquarters in the first place, or whatever that place was supposed to be. No way would the real Fury bring Peter to a building that wasn't 100% secure. It can be argued Mysterio got the jump on him started to make him panic from all the illusions meaning Peter wasn't thinking straight.
When Mysterio was revealed to be in this movie, I was so sure he’d bring out some Endgame PTSD in Peter with his illusions. I was not disappointed
Two things: the idea of his suit being a motion capture suit is genius & his weaponized illusions being drones is incredible, FFH is my favorite
This scene in movie theaters was an experience on its own. Especially if you watch movies high lmao
This scene foreshadowing what if zombie episode and MJ falling in nwh is pretty impressive and also the theme of "Peter wants everything and not being able to hold to any"

the plot of no way home had not been written when this movie was in theaters. you could look at MJ's fall as foreshadowing, but it was accidental if anything.

@@_makeitreal_ahem…*andrew*
Let's not forget the fact he didn't save her in the illusion either since he landed on the ground which is foreshadowing No way home that's just my theory tho
Just seeing how Mysterio used his illusions on Peter/Spidey from making reality shift all around (Making him question what was really in front of him) to even making a zombie Iron Man appear- scary to no level. This scene was chilling to me. That Mysterio is not only someone who can bring physical pain but also in the physiological.
"If you were good enough, maybe Ben Parker would still be alive."
- Mysterio to Tobey's Spidey
"If you were good enough, maybe Gwen Stacy would still be alive."
- Mysterio to Andrew's Spidey
If it was Raimi's, it would be much brutal.
"Look at you, Parker! The hero saving lives with a broken back and a busted heart!
Yet, you couldn't save Ben, you couldn't save Norman, you couldn't save Otto and Harry and Brock... And Aunt May!
Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman... So weak, so vulnerable... So gullible. 😈
I don't have to kill you. Just hurt you plenty!"
4:04 that statue gave me so much nostalgia of the 2004 Spider-Man 2 game. Aah my childhood…
HOW COME NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THE ZOMBIE VERSION OF TONY COMING OUT OF THE GRAVE??
not only we have a 15/17 year old kid mourning a mentor who was like a dad to him, he got to see a realistic version of his fully decomposed body coming out of a grave with the sole purpose of chasing him. that's incredibly fucked up.
no its not it happens everyday
Mysterio doesn't realize how strong Peter is... Tony Stark did. Tony even did the math. Even holding back Peter managed to visibly crater that cement pillar. You could see his casual strength in how Spiderman casually catches the winter soldier's punch in Civil War
That's a consistent thing in these movies and in the comics: people underestimate just what Spidey is capable of.

MJ falling, Spider Men, Mysterio's speech "about struggling to have everything he wants while the world tries to make him choose"
Hands down the best MCU scene for me!⚡️
My favourite scene of the whole film.
The editing is beautiful and such a mind fuck. I'm glad it took us 20 years to get Mysterio as a villain in the films because you know this level of quality wouldn't have existed in the original trilogy.
The icing on the cake is the scene that follows after where Peter is riddled with fear and doesn't know what's real anymore.
During this whole scene, my jaw was dropped and my eyes were wide open. This scene was done so well. My parents noticed me and they asked why was I like that and I had to explain to them that this really felt like a comic book come to life
The movie threw spider sense and Peter Parker's intelligence into the landfill.
3:15
“YOU NEED TO WAKE UP!”
So, the illusions can mimic not just visual, but sound, smell and air flow/temperature? That even peter can't differentiate an open space/abandoned building with a high tech building.
The bot are basically made for Beck then.
The thing is the bots were very much intermixed with the illusions, along with regular obstacles. Peter isn’t experienced enough so he couldn’t counter Mysterio’s actual threats
That's because it was originally the BARF (Binary Augmented Retro Framing) that was design for Stark Industries by Quentin.
I'm sure the drones are supplying some of the effects other than just the projectors.
This scene was as scary as scarecrow's fear toxin
Never expected Jake Gyllenhaal's voice to fit Mysterio so well but holy shit
Great actor
Imagine if Mysterio and Doctor Strange had a fight
To be fair, with the Ultimate universe, Mysterio is the same one as the Amazing universe, where he found a way to jump dimensions and became a major threat. Taking villains that paid him enough to go back and forth to escape or to get tech from both universes for his own gear.
All of this would have been over in seconds if pete had thought abt getting thermal vision goggles the moment he found out 😂😂😂
I love how drawn out this sequence is it’s extremely torturous
fun fact. JAKE GYLLENHAAL was lined up for the lead role of peter parker during the original phase of spiderman in the early 2000s but was replaced by Tobey Maguire, now we time jump into the multiverse and they're both in what could possibly be the final installment of the spiderman series for a while... another fun fact, both men were in a movie called brothers, if youve never seen it, do so. its intense and very dramatic on both of their behalf but definitely worth the watch.
At 3:45 that scared the shit outta me 💀 when he got grabbed
This is my favorite mysterio scene in all of marvel just because of how well it’s executed

4:38 this might be a stretch, but looking closely, you can see "tony" in an older version of an ironman suit, i think this is because mysertio heard of tony's death but didn't realize tony also made a nanotech suit
